Mate fishing at Neist Point for over 10 years it is amazing it’s my favourite fishing mark it’s a mark that you no if you get the tides right and good weather it has the excitement that any moment you could catch a fish of life time and that is what fishing is all about 👍👏👏
even with 60grm metals or a 1.5oz lead the tide just takes you into the side, rips through very fast! i was there 2 weeks ago and thought i'd be smart and just wear my hiking boots instead of my usual studded wellies, lesson learned, i was sliding about alover the place, we had loads of pollack between the 2 of us but nothing big, 5lb was the best one, if any of you are looking for good wellies i bought a pair of tretorn (swedish) and put in kold kutter studs, i've had many pairs of muck boots and snowbee rockhoppers but these tretorns are the best i've ever had, recommend them with the studs in 👍🏼
hi they thanks 👌 Harley was using a Shimano power aero 14000 along with a century graphex super sport ld, I believe he was using braid with a tapered leader, am sure its 40lb asso ryco pro plus 8
Safety first buddy . Need to get your son some proper footwear in stead of boots way to big . Poor lad can hardly walk around safely . Asking for trouble that is
Thanks for your concern, fortunately them boots are the correct size for his foot and does have studs in his boots, he had an ingrown toe nail so that’s why he wasn’t walking properly 👍 thanks for your comment 👍👍

We call em spiny dog fish in new Zealand there a disgusting shark we dont eat them as they stink very easy to catch here in the winter
