I love it here, too. Just returned from Pattaya, and I'm currently living in Thong Lo, but I'm looking to stay long-term in On Nut/Ekkamai/Thong Lo beginning in December. Grateful for the content, Isaiah. It would be cool to run into you when I'm in your neighborhood.

@@JetLagWorldTravel It's one of the most popular places for expats to live in the world too. Just saying walk around anywhere in Thailand and like 1/4th of the people are Westerners and it has been like that since the 1980s. Not a secret at all, if anything the total opposite.

It's a secret to most of world where they won't move from there original place of residence and if they do move they always move to places like south America where it's lots of crime but cheap cost of living but what I am saying is Thailand is a secret because lots of people might come there from different countries but if most people knew how safe it is , the food , cost of living , etcccc even more people would move there I am in Cali Colombia about to move out my luxury condo and get a luxury villa in Koh Samui Thailand because it's safe there and has everything else I was already getting here

He mentioned that Malls are popular here and he also pointed out how hot it can be and the air conditioning found in those malls is definitely something that keeps them full of people. Many of the open air markets are open at night, when it is not so hot and each one is different than all others and are great to explore. I seen some comments asking about markets here and Chatuchak weekend market (also known as JJ Market) is great. Plenty of info online and worth looking into. So many good things here.

I'm not sure if you agree, but in Thailand, when you get into trouble, people here are more willing to help you even though they don't speak your language, in comparison to some other places, where people are more reluctant to lend hands.
