Thanks a lot! I wasn't willing to spend money on something everyone should be able to do, and your video give me just the answers I was needing to reconvert tattoo cartridges into leather tools.

Hi and thanks for the great video. I have a problem as i cant seem to find ballpoint cartridges that dont have the spring inside. The ones you show have the stretchy rubber bit. I bought some needle cartridges which have the rubber bit but the needle is soldered to another rod which seems glued into the cartridge and i cant remove it without the plastic snapping.
Ive tried to combine the two by trying to put the rubber bit from the from the needle cartridge into the ballpoint one but it just wont work.
Am i doing something wrong or do i need to find ballpoint cartridges without the spring ?.

for the welding rods do You use brass or aluminum rods please?? And I assume that you buy the rods without the flux attached???
