Got to layout a straight up challenge! A band called Grandpa's Cough Medicine, their track called Murder Chord. I really think you'll get a kick out of the subject matter, and the lead singer Brett Bass is the most badass flat top picker I've ever seen live. Going to add a big pretty pleased to this, because no other reactors seem to want to check it out.

@@BurnieISgod666 Well, let's see. Shedding Skin - 6.5M views, Mouth for War - 28M views, 2.2M views. Meanwhile, Walk - 288M views, Cemetery Gates 50M views. That's why people keep reacting to those two songs, they're among their most popular and most likely to get the reactors views. Plus Shedding Skin and War Nerve are both hidden on their channel and can only be found by searching or on their respective album playlists and therefore don't show up in their popular song lists by design, they intentionally made these songs hard to find.
You should def check out cemetary gates, the music video is a shortened version so I would def check the studio version. Such a powerful song and really shows dimes talent as a guitarist. My personal favorite

The lead guitarist, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, along with 3 attendees, was killed by a deranged fan at the Alarosa nightclub in Columbus, OH on October 8, 2004. I just finished watching BP and Don react to Pantera's "Cemetery Gates" and BP mentioned he's performed there before. He said it has a somber atmosphere.
A very sad day it was!

The Abbott brothers were from Dallas/Fort Worth TX area, thus the Cowboys. Dimebag Darrell (guitarist) was assassinated on stage by a crazed fan. 3 other people tried to stop the gunman but also lost their lives, one from the bands security, and 2 fans who tried to rush on stage to help when the gunman came in like 2 or 3 minutes after the band (Damageplan) started their set. It was at The Alrosa Villa in Columbus OH on Dec 8th 2004. Vinnie Paul (drummer) who was Dimebag's brother passed 6 years ago due to coronary artery disease.
Cemetary Gates and Cowboys from Hell are also amzing songs!!

I saw what was left of the band last year because my sister and I found out they had tickets. They can still perform and the legends that filled in for Vinnie and Dimebag definitely brought the energy I was there for.

They are probably my favorite metal band of all time....just saw them live last September and they still killed it (With Zack Wilde doing guitar in honor of Dime and Charlie Benante on the drums in honor of Vinnie). I didnt get my voice back for 4 days...it was my boy's first live show which made it especially awesome as my first live show was Pantera, Anthrax and Coal Chamber back in the 90's.
When played live , the lyric ' Walk ' has a sound crazy unique when the entire crowd says it at once. I wish I had the words to describe it, but it's my favorite crowd participation sound of all.

I saw Pantera open for fricking Skidrow when I was in college around 1993. They were mind-blowing. I left after their set. Skidrow could never be better. Awesome show. RIP Vin and DD
Honest truth, I was in the crowd while they were filming the video.
So Knox, this was the first song that I ever heard from Pantera back in H.S. Circa 1992 on headbangers ball when MTV was actually music television. While you were listening to hip-hop, this is the direction I went in. I remember throwing a party at my house (parents away), and I was going to the kitchen to get a beer and this song came on tv and it stopped me dead in my tracks. Down the rabbit hole I went, and I’ve been listening to them all the way up until I discovered Ren of all people. 😂 Pantera has a plethora of great songs. I definitely recommend you listen to “cemetery gates”, to get a clear understanding of Philipp Anselmo’s vocal range. Also, I highly recommend you check out the live version of “domination”, filmed in front of literally millions of onlookers, to get a true feel of Dimebag Darrell‘s guitar playing skills, and Vinny Paul’s drumming. It’s off the charts unreal. RIP Vinny and Dimebag. Later brotha
I was a teenager in the 90's & this album was pretty important to our generation. I still love it to this day. 'Rise' is a really good song from that album. 🤘🏻

Pantera was just such a groundbreaking band. I don’t know if people that weren’t there for it will ever understand how heavy this was at the time.
Pantera has some gold to react to for sure. Broken and 5 minutes alone off Far Beyond Driven are two of my personal favorites, but everything from CFH onwards is a keeper. Suicide Note Part 1 is so dark, but worth the listen. Just don’t speak of the pre-CFH times. They were dark times.
You should take a look at Hatebreed, Agnostic Front, Skarhead, Madball, Blood for Blood, and some of the other hardcore bands from this era.

Saw white zombie open up for Great Southern Trendkill tour in 1996 at the Gorge in Washington...such an unbelievable show....temperature was 100 degrees and it was mind-blowing how crazy 20,000 metalheads were behaving ...something I'll never forget

So many memories attached to Pantera and the 90's. I found them too heavy when i first heard them aged 14. But they paved the way for my metal adventures as a teenager
The Abbott brothers were from Arlington and the video was filmed at a club called Joe's Garage where they played weekends for years before they made it and went through different vocalists and styles til they found Phil
