I started Ozempic 3 days ago, I see major drop in weight (2kg), I'm weaker in the gym and my current struggle is that I need to force my self to eat my daily meals that have been the same for past 9 weeks. My scale shows 20-21% body fat, and the week before it was 16-18% - all things combined I think I'm loosing significant amount of muscle mass due to Ozempic (actually Wegowy). I do average 1500 kcal daily 6-7 days a week, either zone 2 or mobility or kickboxing or strength training. 10-15k steps daily easily. I just had a rest week (no training) and last week eased back into 30min zone 2 daily. I have a steady loss of weight at a rate of 1kg/week (2.2lbs/w) before, gained strength and muscle mass on a mediocre strength training (I'm on 500kcal deficit on my diet and on top of that I do 1000-1500kcal/daily in excercise - so I not expecting great muscle gains. Eat 200g of proteins daily and otherwise on keto (sub 20g carbs)
I lost 25 lbs on OZEMPIC until my Humana insurance stopped paying for it.
