Me and my wife moved into a bungalow we pay our licence on the rent we pay to the local council my wife came out of hospital one day after 3 months we had been receiving letters from the BBC for months I phoned the number on every letter and told them we pay for the licence on our rent 20 phone 📱 calls one day I was out shopping and came back my wife said we have had a visitor as she can't walk she thought it was a nurse at the door so shouted come in the door 🚪 is open a women sat down asked my wife to put BBC 1. On BBC 2 on and said you are watching TV without a licence my wife explained we do pay but the lady read her her rights Two weeks later on a Saturday morning a brown envelope Landed on the mat my wife who couldn't walk had to appear at Middlesbrough court at 10 am on Friday morning the BBC put me and my wife though hell a solicitor help us and the case was dropped.2 weeks later a letter from the BBC said no further action would be taken.not. Even an apology .or a bunch of flowers for my wife.sad.
