I've often said similar before, and just made a similar comment. Many of these lawyers are known to have encouraged their clients to lie, and yet nothing is ever done to them. Makes you wonder what the Law Society is for. It's certainly not there to police its members.

What the country needs to do with these immigration lawyers is to say to them that if they believe that the person they are defending using taxpayers money to do so, should use their own money to defend them if they truly believe they have a right to remain here. If they win then they get paid for his work, if they don’t then they are the ones that are out of pocket, not the tax payers. They say they need to be defended to be allowed to stay here, then they pay for the defence themselves. Then if they lose they are out of pocket. I wonder how many immigration lawyers would take that up, I suspect none.

0:54 this is such utter nonsense from the immigration lawyer.. I travelled as a tourist from India for 15 days. The couple in front of me in immigration claimed to have come for some weird sounding course.. the immigration officer kept asking for the course start date... for atleast 5 minutes... they didn't have a clear answer to just the course start date. We were shocked at how they were STILL let in. Even in a developing country like India we don't allow people to enter without clear documents. One look at the queue you could estimate the education levels of the people flowing in. It wasn't students coming in to study in Cambridge and then become brilliant contributors to Britain's cutting edge... it was a queue of people with fake documents.
It costs up to £100,000 per year per migrant . No documentation and they are high risks.
