Just got back from China including Hong Kong! My Mandarin is getting solid, but now I need to get my Cantonese up! I was thrilled to see Cantonese is alive and well in Hong Kong!
Besides good music, good food is a source of happiness. Thank you very much for another enchanting lesson !!! Watching your videos has the effect of making me reminisce about life as a youngster. I absolutely miss the Hong Kong cuisine.
thank you so much for these tutorial videos! been working in Macau for quite some time and your videos are a very big help especially for daily living and routines! more power to your channel 😊
Thanks for all your videos, so useful for learning cantonese, please if i want to practice my cantonese, do you have any recommendation to make conversation with native speaket , thanks
Hi Amanda. How about part 2? Going to the noodle restaurant since they are usually sold as a set drink, veggie and your choice of noodle. I love 雲吞粗多青 which is untranslatable 😂
Thanks so much Amanda. I wondered if any of your videos deal with bei in the passive voice please? There are a few different "bei"s and I can't find videos explaining the difference
Good morning Yesterday I bought the noodle I was thinking how to say in Chinese and this morning I got my lesson about the many kind of noodles Thank you very much for new lesson
Ahh so interesting. I was wondering why when I go to Chinese restaurants, they used different names for the food than I was used to. Was always lo mein or lo fun instead of Chow mein like American Chinese restaurants
Hi Amanda. Kyle Trager Deauna reporting to you live from the USA! I'm not throwing in the towel with Cantonese yet. First of all, my favorite actress from TVB is Grace Chan. She is Hong Kong Chinese but significantly looks like Mexican as in Jessica Alba.
@@5minutecantonese Yes she is. The same goes for my Woman Crush, Miriam Talamantes. Miriam is from Chihuahua, Mexico. IFBB Pro Bikini 👙 Bodybuilder. I have had a crush on her since 2021. My intuition tells me Miriam looks very much Chinese.

Simply try your best to speak with them. Of course, magic words like please "m4 goi1", greetings are very useful to start with the conversations.
