- Yeah, personally I never understood the whole false personality/picture thing, it's like if you are never going to meet, what are you even getting out of it, and if you ARE going to meet, how well do you expect it to go when you are in so many ways totally not anything like the profile you created? I think it would be better to just admit who you are, and show who you are.
That being said I am not saying you can't use makeup, get your hair done, put on nice outfit etc etc go ahead doll yourself up to look nice, so long as it is still actually YOU then it's legitimate; I have looked bawler, and looked like a Hobo depending on the day or situation, no one looks amazing if they just woke up or are sick, but also generally no one looks bad if they all done up and ready to hit the town, so REAL people will expect some varying levels of attractiveness in the same person, that's NORMAL. But using filters to change your appearance is over the line for me, and fake pictures is just plain stupid. You go to finally meet someone and you aren't the person in the photos, you think they still want to be with you? It isn't about how you look, it is about how the person feels about you - if the relationship is real, then most genuine people aren't as concerned with physical appearance. plus, if you just show your real pic in the first place, then they aint going to be surprised and you will probably have a good successful launch to your relationship because nothing was fake.
