Haven't played BF1 before, but mate, you are crazy good at this. Also, reminds me of the 26th Cav's action against Ha-Go light tanks in 1941. Troop A worked in two pairs, throwing grenades or molotovs at the tanks.It cost them a lot of men and horses, but that allowed the rest of the regiment to get away. The 26th fought armor and mechanized units a few other times until 1942.
A perfectly useful guide of Cavalry that gave me hope again to play as Cavalry. I knew Cavalry are so tricky but not as much as that, although I don't use them, you know, because of the fact that other soldiers use guns, tanks, etc... so seeing Cavalry seems to me like Prehistoric, but they are actually very good.
I couldn't believe it when I saw the quality of your videos vs. the number of subscribers you have! I'm sure this will change pretty soon though, keep up the great work! PS. That's some great skills in-game!

I kind of already knew this stuff but for people who don't this video is amazing I didn't know there was a lance but now its my favorite weapon in the game its so satysfying and easy to take out tanks with cavalry

After eatching your videos I am doing so much better at cavalry. Its so satisfying getting 3-4 infantry kills in one pass at giants shadow with the lance now. I got two service stars on the lance. Its the best
Any date given for that patch? Left Battlefield 1 because got hooked on Battlefront 2, was going to come back but then heard about how easy it is to kill cavalry after the TTK patch... wanting to come back... but probably waiting until that patch comes out...

As I’ve stated in a post on how to fix cavalry, the amount of health it’d need to be on its feet is 5,5x more than it currently has. The buff will speed up its regem by 4x and the increase on the RIDER’S health is something like 1,7x more health. This puts in total 4+0,85x more health (1,7x/2, as the rider is half of the hitbox), meaning that’s really close to the 5,5 needed, witch I believe was achieved, as the way they implemented it (drop the pouch, not even needing to take it, starts immediately the regem, and can do that while moving and shooting, unlike the other vehicle classes) let’s for a extra survivability. The only problem is meele. As the horse itself didn’t get any hp buff, it keeps getting destroyed in 1 vs 1s in cqb against decent players, witch is bad, as the meele is the secondary type of weapon on the horse, and would be a waste to destroy that type of combat (a good buff would be to increase the turning radius of the horse, allowing it to avoid taking much damage, including the turning radius while charging with the lance)
Unfortunately I'm not sure on PC; might be the arrow keys or something? Basically on console you have two joysticks, one for the direction of the horse and one for the view of the rider

How do you look back as cavalry, my horse is always going where i am going with my mouse.
