I'm amazed how you can find so many enemies to actually kill! I seem to walk in a sniper wonderland or just don't run into anyone for about 3 minutes before getting merked by some dude disguising himself as a wall.
Comical Nerd Project positioning, it isnt random knowing where to be at the right moments is how to do it, gotta really work that minimap and hud to your advantage.
Pick your spawns correctly. That big cluster of blue and green dots(your teammates) spawn on them or as close to them as possible. Stay with your team. This isn’t cod, can’t play lone wolf and expect to do well.
Basically. Five seconds after i start playing battlefield, even though the game just started, the enemy instantly controls all the objectives and is pushing us back to spawn where they kill us there. And no, not conquest assault.
I was actually searching for how to dominate in bed and by the coincidence of auto correct it directed me to this. After watching the video i think ive found myself a good game to buy.
There's definitely a difference between a sniper who is just sitting back on the same one or two hills sniping the ENTIRE game and is hardly contributing to capturing a flag and one who moves around, clears out the areas surrounding the flag that the team is going for, and captures flags when they can.
@@Meloncholyflower i play a mix of all 3 styles. Long range counter sniper, close range urban combat and spotting are why i got to scout rank 6 in 24 hours.
Snipers who just snipe are like Geoff Boycott. Don’t help the team but obsessed with their own stats. When squad leader I’ve even ended up shadowing these guys and trying to reveal their position and messaging them….its not COD…its about taking objectives not preserving your precious KD ratio because you’re obsessed with your ego.
JS Customs call me a heartless douche but I sometimes use my teammates as test dummies when rushing an objective, if he dies then I'll retreat and find another way around, it's a sacrifice but it's worth it if I get a good flare off
yes but don 't just sit on the edge of the objective and never move up. How many times I see groups throwing nades down a hallway afraid to push forward while there is just one guy on the otherside or on the objective and 10 guys just throwing nades. There is a balance. If you killed a couple of guys move forward otherwise they just respawn and you are still in the same position while you could have moved on to cap the objective or flank them.
Total awesomeness well that's a a viable tactic if you have slow reaction times use the 8.35 you'll smash anything infront of you if you can somewhat aim
The problems I experience the most: the guns I have dont do enough damage on my first few shots. Each shot after about the 3rd shot decrease in accuracy a lot. 9/10 times I am spotted before I spot them. I try to listen and pay attention to my surroundings and sometimes that works but I still get killed from a guy who would have to be using cheats to see me. Like it's insane how accurate your enemies are sometimes.
It's also worth remembering that flares will spot you behind walls and cover, you might not think much about it when a flare flies over your head but when it does anyone near you now knows generally where you are.
Just found your videos and have watched most of the "Tips" videos. I went from .7 K/D and a win rate of ~30% to a 2.0+ KD and 60% win rate! Great tactics man!!
It takes more intelligence than you would think to be skilled in this game, you need to be aware of your surroundings at all times and you have to look at the minimap a lot as well. of course broken already knows this, awesome video as always!
Jacob Paulson If you analise your surroundings, the sounds of weapons and the mini map you become unbeatable. I was trapped all on my own with 10+ enemies around me and i killed them all by playing smart
Cool video, probably really late to add this but another useful tip would be to work together with your squad. I’ve noticed that whenever players (myself included) decide to fly solo during matches, we end having an extremely difficult time and our attacks are less effective. Having good coordination with teammates and fulfilling roles within that team to fill each other’s weaknesses makes for an effective fighting force. Everyone is always trying to be that god-level player who just solos entire armies and stacks up the bodies like you just did at the end of this video. But that kind of ambition is too difficult for most, so if you are really looking for a fun game with effective results, stick to teamwork.
Today was one of those days, where I just die all the time in Battlefield 1 & can't seem to do anything right. This video was the remedy! After watching it, I can't wait to play again. Thanks Machine!!

ptfo, sniper should be at a distance giving support to infantry in a fashion as the example you set here. kudos sir. to many people seriously do not understand tactics and class effectiveness
Used to be a goat in BF1 but went to college and had to prioritize school. Came back post grad to start back playing with my little brother to spend time with him and I’m trash!! This reminded me of a lot of common sense things in bf1
Great video. Happy to see someone understanding the need of controlling zone, as you explained @4'08. People always think you have to rush flags to be a "Objectives player". The spend the whole time running from a flag to another because the team is unable to controle the map. Take flags, control zones and enemy won't be able to take flags back. One of the best BF1 channel I've ever seen. Thanks for the quality content.
My tip is to play on a gaming monitor. I don't know if it's just me, but my KD improved bigtime by switching from a large TV to a gaming monitor. Maybe it's just me but you guys should give it a try, just trying to help here. :)
Ramuel Rosales I think you guys lost the sense of games it's to have fun to to wreck little kids...... Also use the 8.35 please and lead attacks and not die
I play on a 4m projector screen at 1080p from a distance of about 3m on PC. It's easy enough to get used to, but you do miss out on detail at this pixel to distance ratio. Same would be true of other screens I'd imagine.
I watched all your videos and I think, or let me say l'm sure you are the smartest player that I ever seen, and without Im asisst in a console game that's makes you #1 .. Because of you I started to die less than before, especially yesterday in Argonne Forest I played with support class and my K/D at the end of game was 31/3 .. Thank you and hope to you all the best. I wish we will play one day together.
You can't reduce their numbers. They can re-spawn straight away, when you kill someone in bf1 you're just moving them away from your current position to a point they can spawn which may be a flag your team is trying to capture. if you're in the middle of nowhere killing them is a negative.
I love sniping in bf1 (it has the gewehr 98) but I try playing the objective and balancing out kills. if you're a scout, rule number 1 is to always spot enemies so it makes it easier for you and also your team.
It is much the same as playing the medic class. The medic is not there for kills. He is there to heal and push the team forward from the back of the group. The guns are set up for getting the medic to the person in need, in and out. Good video
Don’t shoot from one place too many times, you become predictable and easy to snipe. On ballroom blitz, try and move cover often if you’re a sniper in the main courtyard south of Charlie on top of the wall. It’s very helpful to not camp too much on that map as other enemies are much more difficult to spot sometimes
Beautifully said that playing the objective isnt always about capoturing new flags - its also about the defense which most players dont even think about ... imo there are way too many games where the biggest part of every team just runs around in circles (especially on NIvelle nights as i experienced) and never makes a stand to defend a flag - this annoys me so much as im more of a defensive player and not so much a "rushing of to the next flag as soon as i got all the xp for capping this flag"-player
You can find and use an empty server by going to server browser on the multiplayer menu, then go to filters, put in whatever you want for game modes and maps and stuff, go to slots which is on the lower part of the filters menu and select the option that says all (nothing else only all), then go to where it says regions and select every region. You are bound to find many open empty servers. Have fun!
If I'm in really try-hard win mode , I'll find a dead sniper's loadout with spot flares (hopefully) and drop an ammo box and just spam like mad. We came back from a spawn trap rape 996-1000. I joined the server 1/2 way in and these guys were getting hammered all flags were capped so after I capped a few flags back (well we capped a few) I found a dead snipers kit so I just camped down and dropped my ammo box then switched to sniper's spot flare. If you pick up your kit now and then it seems to last longer, resets the disappear kit timer , switch kit to kit , you can spam 40+ or so flares one after the other over and over . Red dots everywhere and it gave us just enough of an edge to squeak out a victory. Most players quit out of server rapes , I take them as challenges.
love this man. Thanks for the tips. One small suggestion: you can also add clips on situations where you actually fail to do what you are suggesting in each tip to show an example consequence. Great playing as always
Thanks very helpful video, good tips, definitely helped me improve on the battlefield, the best advise i found "let your enemy's make mistakes". Would like to see some vids on how your play style changes with different maps/game modes/load-outs. Currently i'm rely liking Domination and Conquest, playing relaxed and with confidence but also more aggressively now as Medic with Cei-Rigotti Factory and the MLE 1903 handgun, Med Crate, Syringe, Incendiary Grenades and Scout with Gewehr M.95 Infantry and Mars Automatic, Spot Flare, Trip Wire Incendiary, Incendiary Grenades Playing around close to mid range i find i'm engaging enemy's more often and building up that muscle memory and reaction time. I just love the iron sights i find i can see/follow more of whats going on around me in close quarters without the scope obstructing my vision. I find i have plenty aimed accuracy and enough burst when needed often switching to the hand gun to finish people of or if i get into trouble throw down an Incendiary Grenade to bar enemy's access giving myself time to heal up and reload or GTFO away. Had some epic lol moments where iv placed a good Trap or thrown down a good Incendiary Grenade where enemy's have just pilled through the flames and iv finished them all of with hand gun.
The games i enjoy the most with when the people im playing with actually help out there teammates. If im a Medic im going to revive as many people as i can. If im support i supply everyone in my team constantly. Just those 2 things make a world of difference.
Map control in operation and conquest is super important. the more players you have on the field the better it is to cap flags and it is a lot easier to win gun fights for example 1:1 50% chance of winning 2:1 67% chance of winning unless you go against who's a boss. But I'll take that extra 17% any day
Also if you want to dominate and stay alive longer i suggest getting Gaming or CD/DVD Monitors. Small screens allow you to focus better at your objectives and targets whereas big screens can be a distraction i.e constantly moving your eyes left to right making sure you have all angles covered but that only limits you being able to aim quickly and taking a shot
Hmm, that seems to make sense. But wouldn’t it make distant enemies harder to see? Seems both have pros and cons for certain situations.. the way I’m thinking rn is like in close quarters a small monitor would be a bit better as you said but on a really open big map it be better to have a bigger one as to not be blind to distant enemies. Unless it’s a good balance of visibility to how small the monitor is... that really would be awesome to be able without straining or hassle to use a small screen on an long/big map.
Still playing this masterpiece, great tips i'm usually that player who just runs in without thinking gets a few kills and dies eventho i most of the times have the most kills out of everyone i feel like i can have a better kd if i try improving on that
TBM man your aim is just so fluid and steady, you've got total control it is incredible to watch. Sadly I'm all over the shop, and all the things you advised on doing, I don't hahaha. Keep the great videos coming.
Just want to say THANK YOU! some of the tips I"m already using some of your tips from current vid and also from previous. And I must say teach me masetr :) cheers and see you on battlefield
why all enemy in all guides video on youtube always be slow af didnt shoot back and shit. but when im playing this shit, the enemy will always oneshot me as soon as 1 pixel of their body appear on screen. mf shoot 1 bullet while im emptying my magazine to his head, he still kill me.
That’s what I was thinking. Convinced Broken is uploading his youtube vids from a different universe where people are a lot less observant or downright blind and deaf. Without fail I’ll gain the confidence to play a game after listening to these tips and tricks but then I get put into match after match where the enemy team is just on MLG mode and have the hearing of a bat and the eyes of a fucking hawk and no matter what I do, even applying the tactics from these vids, they just always have the advantage.
Really love the fact that you don't just show how good you are (u are awesome) but u give out so many tips as well.. This is what puts u and average sniper ahead of the likes of jackfrags.. Big fan :)
Hmmm...let me add some tips :) 1. A good 7.1 headsets , no one will sneak on you. 👍 2. Always look at your mini map, the mini map is your best friend. 👍 3. Care about your k/d, if you die more than you kill...you are giving tickets to the enemy team, also you spend more time in the spawn screen that playing. 👍 4. Turn off both aim assist, trust me on this one, at first it will be hard to kill, but with time, it will be better, your aim will be better. 👍
No Other xD Ditto on the headset and mini map one. Litteraly no one can sneak up on you. I can't tell you how many times I could hear someone following me that wasn't on my mini map. I just turn a corner and wait then pump the guy full of lead. Also helps if you're camping. You can hear them outside coming through the door. Aim , shoot, kill.
No Other xD there is no such thing as a 7.1 headset. It's all virtual, and headsets are only 2.0 stereo systems. A regular headset (HyperX Cloud II's and Sennheiser Game One's are the only good ones) will do you just fine.
Not sure if you've already done this but a series where you give tips specific to maps would be helpful. For example, one episode would be how to succeed on suez, etc.
im actually a pretty good battlefield player but this is one of the best tips videos ive ever seen. better than any other battlefield youtuber. im sure this helped alot of people.
Haha 7 months later and i still watch these vids mate. You are doing great work! Helping alot of people with a better playstyle on console and really good content!
Just subscribed!! Honestly, I've always watched your videos as they always popped up in my news feed, but after this video I have subscribed. Thanks man!!
It always baffles me when teams push the far objectives when we don't control the closest ones. I always think defensively, though. Thinking that it's easier to hold and defend the middle than it is to keep pushing to the far ones.
Depressed Mayonnaise I don't disagree from a strategic standpoint, but if half the team is constantly pushing to the farthest objective the whole match, it leaves you vulnerable.
who ever said you weren't an objective player is a donkey. Thanks for the tips machine! I watch every vid you post and i have enjoyed playing so much more since I started emulating your style! Keep it up!
Hey broken thanks for tips I was play a TDM on a ball room blitz The enemy was in one room medium size so I take out my primary weapon And I take out five guys They throw a grenade at me so I rush and take out the whole team and get a ten kill streak Thanks for tips You are very good

Love the Napoleon quote! The tutorial series is awesome! Keep up the great work :)
Totally diggin your clips as they are far away from the "technical" ßplayside, but doing the mind math. loving it
I think than I shoot, but Im not thinking while Im shooting. And it helps me alot. Thanks Broken.
I have 1000+ hours on battlefield(s), and I see that I subconsciously do all the things you listed.
These tips are so simple but effective. I never actually gave it much thought but that´s genuis.
1:46 Those "cheeky boogers" were not expecting that lol. #wrecked
Thanks very helpful video, good tips, definitely helped me improve on the battlefield, the best advise i found "let your enemy's make mistakes".
Would like to see some vids on how your play style changes with different maps/game modes/load-outs.
Currently i'm rely liking Domination and Conquest, playing relaxed and with confidence but also more aggressively now
as Medic with Cei-Rigotti Factory and the MLE 1903 handgun, Med Crate, Syringe, Incendiary Grenades
and Scout with Gewehr M.95 Infantry and Mars Automatic, Spot Flare, Trip Wire Incendiary, Incendiary Grenades
Playing around close to mid range i find i'm engaging enemy's more often and building up that muscle memory and reaction time.
Dude, that move on Fort de Vaux where you close the one door to avoid the blast of the grenade and proceed to wreck them all was pro.
Skill is in the details ;) glad you noticed that!! thanks
The games i enjoy the most with when the people im playing with actually help out there teammates. If im a Medic im going to revive as many people as i can. If im support i supply everyone in my team constantly. Just those 2 things make a world of difference.
2:12 thats almost a direct quote from Napoleon Bonaparte. lol
the ability to communicate with your squad seems paramount...great video
Nice video man. Always enjoy the streams, hope all is good.
One of my favorite BF TH-camrs!
It's a pleasure to see you play BF1!
Map control in operation and conquest is super important. the more players you have on the field the better it is to cap flags and it is a lot easier to win gun fights for example 1:1 50% chance of winning 2:1 67% chance of winning unless you go against who's a boss. But I'll take that extra 17% any day
another tip
"slide to run to slide, repeat" is a good way to dodge sniper bullets while running, so people either miss, or don't hit you in the head.
After 6 years this is still helpful
Good thing EA emailed me to let me know this vid dropped 4 years ago! xD
Watching your gameplay has made me a much better player. Thank you for that Broken Machine!
glad to hear that!
That ending clip was nasty.
What sensitivity do you use? Do you play with a scuf?
Really love the fact that you don't just show how good you are (u are awesome) but u give out so many tips as well.. This is what puts u and average sniper ahead of the likes of jackfrags.. Big fan :)
I literally just noticed a guy I was playing with 10 minutes ago in one of your clips lol
Hmmm...let me add some tips :)
1. A good 7.1 headsets , no one will sneak on you. 👍
2. Always look at your mini map, the mini map is your best friend. 👍
3. Care about your k/d, if you die more than you kill...you are giving tickets to the enemy team, also you spend more time in the spawn screen that playing. 👍
No Other xD honestly five dollar headphones gets the job done for me
No Other xD there is no such thing as a 7.1 headset. It's all virtual, and headsets are only 2.0 stereo systems.
A regular headset (HyperX Cloud II's and Sennheiser Game One's are the only good ones) will do you just fine.
#1 is good. I catch multiple people trying to run up on me for stabs and I can hear them, look at map and no green or blue then it's game on!
That run with the automatico was smooth
Not sure if you've already done this but a series where you give tips specific to maps would be helpful. For example, one episode would be how to succeed on suez, etc.
that was quick thinking how as you closed the gate door you maneuvered around it!
Just started playing bf1 and appreciating all your content. Keep em comin man, great stuff 🙌🏻
im actually a pretty good battlefield player but this is one of the best tips videos ive ever seen. better than any other battlefield youtuber. im sure this helped alot of people.
What gun is he useing @ 6:20? I am new to battlefield and would like to try it out
I know your like the pro and all but u should try using the bipod more you'll be surprised how many shots you'll land
Yanek Stecki But then you are a sitting duck for another sniper
Random Potato then u got to snipe them first 😉
Haha 7 months later and i still watch these vids mate. You are doing great work! Helping alot of people with a better playstyle on console and really good content!
BRO..... 5 years later and i watching this video????
Back in 2024 to freshen up on my skills. Back to BF1, the best yet.
Just subscribed!!
Honestly, I've always watched your videos as they always popped up in my news feed, but after this video I have subscribed. Thanks man!!
Have just started playing BF1 again after a long time off, great video thanks man 🙌
jesus christ, i lost it at 15 kills on the 'nasty' part, trench raider is definitely your op weapon
thank you for tips, man. much appreciation!
6 years later and still an amazing game
It always baffles me when teams push the far objectives when we don't control the closest ones. I always think defensively, though. Thinking that it's easier to hold and defend the middle than it is to keep pushing to the far ones.
Marching Band Is Awesome sometimes trying to control the nearest point is the most difficult, so flanking around to the next one proves advantageous
Keep it up!
How do you cancel the slide? Like you slide for a split second then stand up again. on xbox I can't ever cancel the slide halfway through
Cheers for the tips been playing it wrong this whole time
Keep up the good work dude.
awesome broken! as always keep em coming those vids
What zoom level were you using on that Medic gun?
Hey broken thanks for tips
I was play a TDM on a ball room blitz
The enemy was in one room medium size so I take out my primary weapon And I take out five guys
They throw a grenade at me so I rush and take out the whole team and get a ten kill streak
Thanks for tips
You are very good
Thank you very much TheBrokenMachine!
Where do you find those shooting drills with the mounted helmets?
What’s the name of the gun he’s using with the the sight for medic?
As always broken another great video I've watched you since the start of bf1 and I've got better and better threw watching you keep it up pal. I love the moving the player instead of aiming il be giving that a try brilliant
nice kill streak at the end and the tips helped alot
You are the hidden gem of the battlefield community
thank you Gina!
how do you have the green cross hairs and the blue hit markers?
Good Stuff...Good Stuff.......I love it when things get messy in your videos.
