The decoy actually has scope glint which scared the shit out of me once before I thought there was 3 sinpers when there was only the one I was trying to kill. As a result I actually shot the decoy in panic giving the scout time to pick me off.
So it's really is useless as a decoy to confuse enemy sinper but somehow effective to confuse enemy infantry that is camper hunting. Who isn't scared of 3 scope glints looking at you when you don't have a clear view and no cover

Dude, you should have a lot more subscribers. You do instructional vids very well. I like the pop ups jumping to the info that you want to know. Nice touch.
Liquid is modest, has a good voice, funny, has a well versed vocabulary, and you just provide the pertinent info, & no other bullshit. You don't: scream, act like a know-it-all, add a ton of jump cuts/stupid sound effects, beg for likes/subscribers, or have a loud ass/annoying/long intro.

Lots of great information and it should help a lot of new players! However I wanted to add that the M1903 marksman/sniper has an advantage most people don't know about: the lowest drag coefficient in the game. This means that at long ranges the bullet won't slow down like the other ones do, which gives you a consistent velocity. Even with it's lower velocity than the Gewehr 98 I find it WAY easier to lead shots with it. Yesterday was the first day I used it and was at the #1 on the board with 30-5 (St Quentin Scar CQ). Granted at least 10 of those kills were with the nearly OP Bodeo revolver while capping flags. The next map I tried using the Russian Sniper (same bullet velocity) and did horribly because it was so much harder to lead my shots.
One more thing is that the Martini-Henry actually has a "sweet-spot within a sweet-spot" since the last patch. This means that between 30-80m it works just like any other sweet-spot rifle where upper torso shots will be a OHK. However, within 42-68m, a OHK also includes shots to lower body and upper arms. Shots to the legs and forearms will still do reduced damage however.
I know I know I'm late but I've always felt it moved faster and it's suppressed so it's hands down the best primary

Using the zero mechanic has made using the Martini-Henry a lot more fun because you start pulling off shots at ranges that people don't expect you to even attempt let alone land especially with irons.

One addition to the tripwires: if you put it that way that wire touches closed door, then it will be activated once someone opens that door. Might be useful for making a trap against advancing/flanking enemies .

Here's a fact: If you do not have a primary rifle(using custom servers that remove at least one rifle), you can still equip the K Bullets.
You don't get like a normal rifle with K Bullets, you get like a brown trench variant of the 1895 except without a long barrel, or iron sights(your gun will be slightly below the center of your screen), or actual K Bullets. Like it won't give you five K Bullets, you just get 30 normal bullets.
You also forgot to note that the Trench Periscope has scope glint(smaller than 10x scope glint), and there's two of the glint.

the smle carbine is my favorite. works out best for my close-mid range playstyle, though I sometimes get these long range kills (pure luck)
The 10-round mag is very nice but keep in mind the M95 carbine does more damage under 30 meters than the SMLE MkIII and shoots noticeably faster while remaining ADS. So up close unfortunately the SMLE isn't as good. Still a great fun gun though.
The SMLE carbine when used right is a beast of a gun, much better than the M95
yeah but its not as aggressive as the gewehr m95
the fire rate is too slow
I call the SMLE the smile. It is very satisfying, and when i get kills with it, it makes me smile
I always run with K-Bullets on Argonne Forest to use on Behemoth. Just concentrate on one turret, usually get a turret disabled.
Also extra bullets to use on infantry if i run out. I know I should'nt but I use Gewehr 98 Infantry close quarters, hate scopes.

Fun fact: You can use the sniper shield to block doorways as well. I was on F at St. Quentin's Scar and someone placed a sniper shield in the doorway to the windmill. We threw quite a few grenades in as well and it didn't go away. Are they indestructible? Anyway, they had some support and assault squad mates spawn on him. It was momentarily problematic.
More info regarding K bullets:
- You can use them against any piece of armour, that includes sniper shields, sentries and behemoths.
- K bullets do double damage (vs normal bullets) to planes and sentries.
- There are sweet spots on vehicles where you can shoot the vehicles and it will register as a headshot; mainly turrets and wheels.

The SMLE carbine is the most versatile rifle IMO, I get kills close, medium and long range perfect for Conquest maps where you're always on the move and can absolutely dominate on all maps...what I will say if you're planning on camping don't join a squad as you end up being a hinderance!

i have got many kills with k-bullets while shooting enemy who are using for example field artillery or those heavy machine guns what you can find around maps, those both have pretty good metal shields for front and thats where k-bullets helps piercing that armor and get kill but it works only pretty close ( like you said at k-bullets loses their killing potential for longer distance )

K round max range is 100m . In real life soilders would have up to ten of them the marksmen anyways.

The damage curve is like than because I think at closeup, the bullet has too much velocity it just goes clean through and at mid range it has good speed but not too much so it rips flesh more.
Am I missing something :), but do you have a live stream of Battlefield or another channel that has you playing Battlefield? I would watch! Great vids to watch! I was expecting more subscribers! Keep it up and more.

Btw, +Liquid Blitz I have an idea for making it easier to show stats and performance. Maybe, instead of putting everything on screen first, you can only put the relevant discussion on the screen (ex: if you are covering zeroing your distance, only put the tips and stats on the screen for that part of your video momentarily). And when the video is at the end, show all of the stats you covered in the video at the end with annotations and time stamps. I hope this helps, and good luck on youtube!

I like to play as a mid-short range scout for a while and then switch to the automatico. Zero skill is required for that gun, so when you have the steady aim of a sniper, it's hella destructive.

K bullets are still usefull even with no vehicles. Five emergency bullets to use on infantry and elite classes when you run out of ammo.

Do you still have scope glint when you go down to 5x ? I was thinking of using the martini Henry sniper with 5x scope, but it's pointless if the glint is still there.
Pretty sure with infantry variants you still need to scope out after each shot. The The exception is the M.95, which doesn't need to scope out with any of its variants.

Am I crazy or isn't the M95 the only rifle where you can "straight pull" (BF terminology) the bolt? Not all infantry variants?
Blitz.. you are if nothing else boosting my confidence in myself just with your straight forward commentary and I also enjoy the in depth information you give us. I'm a Cod player and I've had battlefield 1 since it came out but I have a hard time finding people to play with. I would like to play as an acual squad with friends. I've had a hard time adjusting to this style play being solo. do you recommend a way to meet other players willing to give me a hand and take me under their wing. I love this game and the realistic look and feel. I just feel playing with people in a party would truly help me... thank you for your videos I will subscribe and be looking for new content. kudos....

This is a real noobish question, but which button do you press on Xbox One to cycle zeroing distance? And does it rest each time you die? each new game? What is the default setting? I usually use iron sights, for aggressive cqc.
The default is always 75m and the button should be the same button you use to switch between semi-auto and fully-auto fire modes for automatic weapons.

I never use zeroing myself. It's too much of a fuck around. I simply aim higher for long distance shots. Takes a bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it it's allot better than using zeroing.
Yeah, I agree. I use rifles at close/medium range for aggressive play, so the zeroing doesn't really matter.

been playing for a while and the single best piece of gear a mid to long range sniper can use is the periscope
Aye its very useful for seeing over cover while remaining hidden - keep in mind it does have scope glint so when you look at people with it, they see where you are, unless they are just unobservant and don't care.
Liquid Blitz that is true. you do give your position away when you are using it but marking enemy players while behind cover is very useful. in most cases, I can shoot them after they reveal their position. just wait for the reload. works about 88% of the time.

Sniping isn't hard. If you play recon for 10 minutes, you can already do it.
I only Play scout Cause it takes a lot of skill but once you get the practice you are More Effective
