- While on holiday in Mull with a reasonably good weather forecast I decided to visit 3 islands off its shore.
Iona was the second island I visited and not my first trip, having visited multiple times in the past. This was the first time since a my teens that I’d walked around the island. Iona never disappoints and this won’t be my last visit.

@@andrewkingdom you definitely should visit, thank you for watching 🙏
Just back from Iona myself. My favourite island. A holy and peaceful island. Did the walks in your video. Superbly put together. Thanks Linda for editing and uploading.
@@mallondan Thank you Danny, probably my favourite too, it’s why I keep going back. Thanks for watching. 🙏
Looks a beautiful island to visit Linda. Great video again, thanks.
@@62shello It certainly is 🤩thanks so much for watching. 👍
Another lovely video. Thanks Linda. I was being very lazy and had to watch it before i got up! As usual you've inspired me to get exploring. 😊
@@emmamorgan7171 aww, thanks Emma. Hope you’re well. 👍
love the video Linda as always.
@@andrewmatley7688 thank you Andrew. 👍
yet another place I must visit.
The scenery is spectacular and you captured it well on your camera
Thank you Mandy. 👍
Those lovely west coast beaches, which sadly I missed on my visit, focused on the Abbey.
Bora's nose and tail saying, come-on mum, let me run free!!
Your imagery is inspiring, though hitting bright sunlit weather is, as always in the west coast, a rare blessing.
As a geologist I was appreciative of your visit to the 'marble' quarry, though it's the views over the sound make this site totally special. Hard to imagine an industrial enterprise in such a remote place.
Can't wait for Isle No 3. Hope the luck with weather holds out!!
@@mikemccormac9368 thank you so much Mike. She was desperate to get off lead but too many sheep about. I really enjoyed revisiting the marble quarry. Thanks so much for watching. 👍
We're heading to Mull this weekend and Iona is firmly on our 'to do' list. Keep your fingers crossed for kind weather for us!
Brora's tail will fall off with all that happy wagging!
Sounds great! I’m envious, wish I was back there. Have a great trip and say hello 👋 to Iona.
@@LindaOutdoors will do!
Beautiful... really enjoyed watching this. Not sure how this recommendation arrived on my screen but glad it did. I didnt realise the Island was as small as it is.. Being a Welshman I can recall the 1st time I ever heard of the name Iona... I was a teenager in the valleys of Wales and met and had a few dates with a girl from some miles away - her name was Iona ☺ Being an unusual name in my part of the World she told me she was named after an Island in Scotland and its something that has remained in my memory banks for man many years (I am 66 2mrw, lol) atb Alan
Happy Birthday for tomorrow 🎂Iona is a really special place, it’s why I keep going back. Thanks so much for watching 🙏
It was tad windier up the Dun when we were there but well worth it , does Brora ever stop pulling you from left to right 😅
Only when she’s off the lead! 😂 Great views from Dun I. Thank for watching Dunk. 👍
@LindaOutdoors we watch them all Linda , I just don't comment on them all because I tend to find you can only say so much then your just repeating yersel , always a good watch 😊
@@DunkfaeOotnAbootWiUs Thanks again. 🙏
Hi Linda, Hi Brora, absolutely amazing, what a stunning Island. Thanks for showing us the rest of what Iona has to offer other than the Abbey. haha
That's looks like my type of place, I could easily live there! 😀
@@DAoutdoors I agree, even in the winter it would be a stunning place to live. All these beaches a short walk away. Thanks for watching. 👍
