- I’d finally got round to walking the remainder of the Southern Upland Way after completing half of the trail in 1992.
Join Brora and I as we tackle 3 days of pretty tough walking on the trail.

Just lovely and thank you for the poem along with the history lesson at the end. 😊
Thanks Emma. 👍
Oh well done Linda you had a hard day with the heavy back pack and sore feet, you certainly deserved that wee dram 👍😂
Thank you. A wee dram before bed is just what I needed. 👍
Well Linda, you certainly suffered to bring your viewers this one. You looked so worn out and tired and the distant ending shoots of the inn and facilities kinda summed up the welcome of arriving. I actually found it a little sad but your smile and kind nature always shines thru. Perhaps that line in a song " my heart is in the Highlands" rings true. Best regards.
Thanks James, I was definitely ‘done in’ by the time I finished that section. The painful feet🦶were the last straw. A good nights sleep made all the difference & I really enjoyed day 3. Thanks for watching. 👍
Slaintè mhath Linda yet another good one.
Thanks Philip. 🥃👍
Thanks Linda for another very inspirational video. Brora is a lucky dog!
Thank you so much. I’m lucky to have her, she’s a great companion. 🐶
Well done Linda. I love that section. Camped at the loch loads too.
Thank you. It’s a great place to camp. 👍
Well done Linda 👏 that road walk is a killer on the feet . Nicer walking from there on and lovely views to come . 👏🌟
Thanks Janice. 👍
Enjoyed this. Well done for saying poem the same as me as my Non Scottish family always rip the p out of my pronunciation. Now I can show the error of their ways. Mon the poyums!
They always say that I always mention the possibility of dead sheep further up the burn
as well😂
😂 Thanks for watching, bit tricky to get the poem right, hope I did it justice. 👍
@@LindaOutdoors You did it well.
I'm guessing you stay in the borders?( Or is Tweedbank to catch the train) You've got me thinking about a wee dander around St Mary's loch. Keep up the good work, cheers
Thank you. Tweedbank to catch the train. Discovered the bus from Innerleithen doesn’t actually go as far as Tweedbank so I got off at Galashiels where there’s also a station. You live & learn. 👍
@@LindaOutdoors Aye I actually stay in Gala. But you've done a few walks in the Borders I didn't know about but I'm just a beginner compared to you
HI Linda, blimey I never thought I'd hear you say Brora's knackered! Haha
😂
😊 apart from when she's asleep, does Broras tail ever stop wagging ? 🦧 im guessing not, what companions spaniels do make. Great film Linda and best wishes,
Fraser
Thanks Fraser, she’s pretty much always got a waggy tail! 👍
@@LindaOutdoors I thought so 😆👏👍🏼
