    Tip for foreigners buying cricket bats similar to Indian players or any other nation player, research about the brand before buying, for instance here CEAT is a tyre manufacturer just like MRF, they don't manufacture any sports products, those sticker on bats of players are meant only for advertisement purpose. Even sports brand do that.. like nike, adidas ,new balance,etc(Those bats aren't in actual by those respective manufacturer).For eg. Sachin Tendulkar had sponsor of adidas but originally those bat were manufactured by BAS VAMPIRE(local Indian manufacturer) or even sometimes handmade bat made by local craftsman, so next time you buy a bat buy based on its parameter like grains, weight etc. Never buy a bat because you like that brand.In short each international player gets customized bat(it could be brandless made by local manufacturer or any bat brand as per their own preferences) and then just put a sticker on it as per their sponsorship contract.

    While this is a fake indeed, I’ve seen the same from SS from India. So don’t throw Pakistan under the bus for something that’s done everywhere.
    Also, one company justified using a grain sheet. Hanif from UK mentioned this. That company says they purposely use grain sheets.

    • @AdeelSyed1
      @AdeelSyed1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      CricketBatInfo I don’t deny that. However my example was a bat from India. The dealer only gets bats from India and his customer complained the bat had a grain sheet. He replaced the bat for the customer. But all his bats are Indian. I won’t disclose the dealer but another comment also referenced a fake Kookabura from India.
      It’s obviously an issue and that’s why CA and other companies started using a barcode for authenticity.

    • @AdeelSyed1
      @AdeelSyed1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      CricketBatInfo yes you are right. It’s not political but my point was it’s everywhere. Of course if you have 1 there must be thousands from the same factory with various different stickers/brands.
      When’s bats cost $400 USD all the way to $800 USD this is what drives the fake market. They produce the same looking bat for $50 and sell for $300.
      Have bat prices increased dramatically in the last decade? I’m genuinely asking. Would love to chat privately. I am a fan of your work.

      may i know where in Pakistan? because SS is a reputed company with another one SG, they make solid bats and anyone who has played for years may be able to know the difference, the weight, the grains, the handle and the feel....i feel for people who are playing with such stuff, i own an SS master 9000 and an SG T-45 LE, the SG one is cheaper but it too strikes the ball like a hammer...

    • @stevecheshire5046
      @stevecheshire5046 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes and that bat Hanif showed with gain sheet was sent to him by me to warn people. Cx company started it. But once people found out they had no choice to admit it. They buy cheap bat and dress it to look like a grade 1 more expensive bat to trick people into spending more money on what really is a low quality bat. The art of deception

( you can google CX bats grain sheet and their bull shit vision).One should google a bit before buying a bat and why would one buy indian bat from Pakistani retailer or random facebook seller. its a gamble buying low price bat fron non reputable seller. Abdul Wahid Qureshi
      Not all of CEAT bats have burnt in branding and that by no means is a measure of authenticity either. CEAT bats like MRF bats are supplied by various manufactures to the Tyre brand. Some manufacturers use burnt in branding others don't but they are all genuine suppliers to CEAT.
      So do not use that as a measure of authenticity. Buying from a reputable seller is generally the safer method.
