I have grain at every part blade bottom back of bat front of bat but not on shoulder and it's Kashmir willow bat so what is your opinion about that does ithave grains or not and is it necessary to have grain on shoulder of bat
now these scammers have gotten smart, they put grains on toe and shoulder that match the face and back of bat. Only way to tell if it's real grain is to sand the bat at the toe.
Even qr codes bat are copied nowadays, specially with local bat makers coming in market, what they do is they take original branded bats remove stickers also taking out the qr codes without scratching, than sell those bats in their brand name and sell their bats with the branded stickers along with the qr codes with cheaper quality wood. Many new bat makers are coming in market nowadays
Yes this is why it is important to buy bats from reputable sellers and also know how to check the cricket bats. I recently saw bats that had same amount of grains at the bottom as on the face, but the dead giveaway was the grains on the shoulder. Don't go by stickers or bar codes, they are easy to fake. Best of luck.
I dont have Kookaburra kit bags, If you are based in Dubai then it will be good if you can visit AJ Sports as they have a big collection of some great kit bats.
Sorry Naveen, it was sold within a couple of hours of the review being posted. I have other bats that I sell that are hand picked. In case you are interested, WhatsApp me
I wish i can show my 1st purchase for my son. The mrf legend vk18 1.0 size 6. It has 6 grains but not so straight and i feel it was not original/fake even though sticker look legit. It new but already scuff at the toe.. and it feel heavy abit which i need to weight it at shop to know the weight. If not mistaken the original should weight around 1005 gram to 1020 gram of that size.. i wish i can send video/pic of to you for verification.. am new Malaysian cricket fan.. thanks
If this is your first bat then go with a bat with 8 grains minimum. Grains should be straight and preferably equal in distance. Preferably they should not have any marks but honestly it does not make any difference on performance of the bat. Check different bats and see which bat is easier for you to hold during back lift. Regardless of weight, a good balanced bat will feel light in your hands. Bounce the ball in different areas to see the size of the sweet spot and overall ping. Do the 4 step process as I do in my bat review videos; 1- Aesthetics 2- Profile 3- Balance 4- Ping Most important are Balance and Ping.
