    I don't envy your task! There are some (many) tiny bits there. Those triple mounts look like the things of nightmares. You're a brave man, Kenneth!

      Nice. I have never worked with a Hunter set, are they good? I was pleasantly surprised of how comprehensive the set was. Thanks :-) I really had a to look up marra, never heard that expression before. But thanks mate ;-) Regards Kenneth

    Great review Kenneth. That set looks more complete than the 1/200 set!! I so wish Kim had put a degaussing cable in the 1/200 set.

    • @NorwegianModellingBench
      @NorwegianModellingBench  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Nigel! Isn't the degaussing cable a part of the Glow2B kit? That is a surprise if they didn't include it. Have a great day Nigel! Best regards Kenneth

    New subscriber Kenneth. The cabinets spread around the deck can be ammunition ready lockers for the AA positions. Looking forward to this build. I like all of your subjects.

    Great review 😊 I was searching for a set like this here in Norway when i bought the 1/350 Yamato «Premium» Ended up with the extra upgrades from Tamiya for this kit. Exept for the black wooden deck from Pontos. As you say, this set might not be the best to start with for my first ship build. (Would like the railings though 😊)

    • @NorwegianModellingBench
      @NorwegianModellingBench  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Stian! The selection in Norway is sadly not very good. But I see that we are starting to get Eduard sets in some of the webshops at least. How did you like the build?

    Hi Kenneth! How have you been? I was surprised with the video. Another great detailed video of the Pontos Yamato 1/350. Is this for the Tamiya new or older Yamato model. Have a great night!

    • @NorwegianModellingBench
      @NorwegianModellingBench  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jeremy! I am fine thanks. I had a couple of hours, so thought I would get this one out. This is for the new one, at least the last part of the the set. The Advanced set is really a combination of two Pontos sets. Have a great day when you wake up ;-)

      @@NorwegianModellingBench I won't to build that one as well. I like how you let everyone know about using Wood glue for the wood decks. I use Gorilla glue for mine. How about you? I have a food coma from our Thanksgiving yesterday. If you ever change your mind about the 1/35 Rye field models leopard 2 A6 model it is all yours. I ordered the one with the full interior. I love that tank! Enjoy your day! I hope you get a chance for modeling.

    Just found this as i start my adventure with the yamato. Do you know the difference between the 32003f1 and 32003f2 kits?

    • @NorwegianModellingBench
      @NorwegianModellingBench  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Then you should most definitely evaluate this set. As far as I have understood it depends on which version of the kit you have, “new tool” or not (older version

    • @NorwegianModellingBench
      @NorwegianModellingBench  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Do you refer to the Tamiya kit or the Pontos set? For Tamiya it is the latest “new tools” release, for Pontos it is a combination of the basic and their extra advanced set.

      I have the pontos var. 1, I'm guessing is not worth the big bucks for the variant 2 also. Pontos are great, but not exactly cheap.

    Between the 37003F1 kit and the 32003F1, which is the best for the Yamato 1/350 78025? I don't really know which one to choose..

      @NorwegianModellingBench  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It can be, but with some practice it can also be a lot of fun, and the details it gives to the model is rewarding.
