Ha! Diet Dr. Pepper is the only diet soft drink I can stand. Eagerly awaiting Penny's return. I'll bet you and Charlie are long past 'eager'. Wildfire smoke seems to be one of the more memorable features of Summer 2023. I cannot remember a more smoky year. Rather annoying when it mucks up stuff you really wanna see. Glad you were a more or less safe distance from the threat of fire itself, but it sure can wreak havoc on breathing and especially on contact lenses! Looking forward to the reunion video. :)

Ya the smoke here in BC is pretty bad. Im in the Greater Vancouver area at the moment, so the smoke isn't so bad. Glad to see you and the pets are doing good. I actually just came across your channel. Your sense of humor is great. Keep up the good work and stay safe.

We had crazy smoke in NJ drift all the way from canada, and I remember once traveling north on the PCH in Cambria/San Simeon and watching helicopters grab water from the pacific and then fly it past the hearst castle. Scary as a tourist but can't imagine how scary it must be for those who live there.
It's the particulates giving you a head ache, your lungs suffer tho you can't feel it, the smoke is particulates, even with very light smoke particulate hurt the alveoli in your lungs. Your lungs look a cluster of grapes, if you cut the grapes open it's quite a bit of sq footage, emphazema from particulates turn 3 abeoli into one bigger one which reduces the SQ footage of the lungs ability to put O2 into your blood..I know you didn't ask..if you hike in smoke you will def feel it

Yes absolutely! Aside from the headache, it wasn’t too bad, but I also wasn’t terribly close. Everything just smelled like a giant campfire!
