- Welcome to our new home! After a long eight months, we are super excited to finally be able to share how our new van has turned out!
After spending over 3 years in our last van and having built a few other vans since our first, we wanted to try something new and implement a few changes and upgrades that we’ve been dreaming up. With this new van we were able to put a lot of thought into the details to make the perfect space to fit our needs. We were also able to incorporate some things we’ve never really tried before. It’s always a learning process which keeps things exciting.
This build is on a 2022 Ram Promaster 3500 159WB Extended.

This is seriously one of the most amazing vans I’ve ever seen! The combo is function with design and style is incredible and I can’t get over the hidden skin care drawer!!!

@@aurenitapedrazzi5036 Yes. That is what I noticed also. The oven will put out too much heat for the skin care and cause the ingredients to deteriorate.
@@christinescott5002 My other thought with it is that if you spill liquid on that countertop and it goes down the crack it'll be a nightmare to clean up! Still a very clever design feature, maybe they could just move the skincare out of the way when they use the oven?

It’s so amazing how you’ve managed to fit a shower, a decent sized bed, a good amount of kitchen a space and a seating area without it getting too tight
sure but at the expense of storage - never understand why folks that live small / tiny have the largest dogs - feel cramped just thinking about three living in any van space little own this one - but hay you do you - love the pop up shelf unit but not all women are skincare addicts - would be great for spices though 🇨🇦🙏
@@ej3016 they have two vans i think . Plus they don’t just have a van hey have the outdoors and there dog has it’s own place
I think this is my favorite van layout yet! And I’ve watched a lot of videos. My favorite is how the bed collapses. I probably would leave it in the small config most the time as a solo traveler, but love the option to expand when traveling with someone
They actually wasted a lot of space with their layout. I would keep looking. I recommend Christian Schaffer’s layout.
Go check out eamon and bec’s van ! This one looks really cramped compared to them.
@@alliinwonder9675 Court and Nate’s build beats Christian’s showerless unit by a mile. Her toilet pulls out into the middle of the van, more closet space isn’t worth the trade off.
@@limes37138Christian came from the fashion world. Its a matter of personal preference. I would not be wanting to make down a bed every day i know i just wouldnt do it but i would like a good amount of storage space and i dont care if the toilet is in full view of me. I dont need to waste space and water showering every day either. This van has a beautiful bathroom but I would prefer to rough it a bit more just to gain ssome space. I have seen one solo female thought she wanted a shower but did not take long to start hanging clothes in her fixed bathroom. I'd be going solo possibly with a dog. Horses for coarses.
I am a professional interior designer who is extremely efficient in design and this is both absolutely stunning and so very functional. Amazing job you guys!! I'm currently building out my own van. I wish I had the talent and skill to do the actual work aside from the design. You guys are a perfect duo!! Thanks so much for sharing and for being responsible van-lifers. 💖
The talent and skill is within us all, we just have to be interested in it enough to discover and learn the necessary know-hows.

I admire your courage in downsizing the cabinetry. I highly recommend packing cubes for storing your clothes… The kind that you put into a suitcase. I use them in our trailer and I am able to stuff so many clothes into two drawers!
that’s a really good idea! roll the clothes and store in the bags!
Second packing cubes. Those things are amazing for travel of any kind to keep things organized and efficient. Easy to grab a category and go!
A wonderful couple! Some families traveling in a mobile home have children sleeping "like in a coffin", but here the dog has a lot of personal space

This is one of the best van builds I've seen! Plenty of space & storage but tucked away with a sleek look. Also, Tonkins is a little cutie pie 🐕❤️

@@cinnamonstar808 no shit.. it’s hard to be original after so many people do it but their setup is pretty nice and looks great. Plus they had no prior experience before their first van. There was no reason to be rude in the first place.
It’s a pretty cool van! I just got concerned about the skincare right behind the oven, getting cooked… but that pop up shelving is a great feature that can be used for whatever!
Same. Even with the computer fan, I'd have to have the skin care shelf up and away from the heat source. I bet she's thought of that though. I mean they're clearly detail oriented.

Absolutely everything in this van conversion is beautiful and efficient. Bravo, great job. That pop up shelf was a kick. You guys are so cute. It’s not easy with 3 people (1 canine person) living in a van, many couples are eventually moving onto a tiny house build. But for now, lots of exciting touring lies ahead.

I am fascinated with van conversions and have seen many presented on TH-cam but this conversion is The Best Uncluttered design style of them all!! So clean, neat, organized, fresh, modern, sleek, etc., etc., etc. Love the thought you two have in accommodating" your son" and the smart conveniences all built in like the sliding table top, back curtains, make-up elevator, doggie storage/seat, etc. Enjoy your van adventures!! I am totally in love with this van build. I love the green tiles the most and the light wood tones of the van! Makes it so much more open and inviting as well as minimalistic! I absolutely love it and I’ll probably steal some ideas if I ever do a future van build 😅
Very nice! It's like a european appartment with the blond wood and white counters. It's very classy looking and I love the panic room for the fur baby.
Your van has everything you need to have it be liveable long term. Since you have previously lived in a van and know what worked and what you would like to have made your new build is so well designed. I love the induction burner and your other little oven that seems to do everything. I haven't seen a refrigerator like yours before. It is very spacious for a van. One thing I love the most is how simple and not cluttered your van is. You have thought of everything. The color is perfect in the shower, bye the way. Congratulations on your new build. Looks like your vision for what you wanted has come alive. Looking forward so seeing you on the road and let us know how it's working out. Your dog is beautiful and I'm so supposed how you managed to build a huge space for your dog. 10 out of 10 in my opinion.
This has got to be my favorite van build. It looks clean, easy on the eyes and doesn't give the feeling that it's lacking something. Love the bathroom, the sink, the cabinets, the color scheme, overall this is the homiest van I've ever seen.
Yeah, and if you were standing on the side near the bed and a fire started, it could be incredibly dangerous and difficult to escape. I hope they have a fire extinguisher.

Really great, guys. Nicely done. I was thinking, at the end, the curtains didn't stay. There are strip magnets you could sew into the sides to help with that, just in a few key places, and even in the middle to keep them together, if that would work for you. I was recently looking into that for myself, then saw this, and had to suggest it for an easy fix. Congrats on your beautiful new home!

11:40 that slide out table should have some space above it so you can easily close the laptop lid and slide back inside whenever you want to walk out, you 2 look stuck in there cant be good for long term lol, it also serve as a permanent place to keep some office stuff

The amount of useful hidden features is incredible. Amazing design
Suggestion: don't cook with the induction cooktop in the open drawer; it would force you to stay on whichever side of the drawer you're at when you start cooking. I think the curbside counter top has enough space for a built-in induction cooktop. Also if the door on the reefer is reversible, it seems that while cooking, the contents would be easier to access with hinges on the left. Also like the low profile toaster oven.
I think they can just pull it out to cook then put it away. Then they can have free counter space. It’s not like people cook all day so it’ll be a waste to have a built in cooktop

Oh my goodness - this is absolutely gorgeous - you should be so proud of what you have built. The layout and the colour scheme are just perfect. We are about to fitout a new Mercedes Sprinter MWB van - and we have spent literally hundreds of hours over the last 12 months watching TH-cam videos trying to come up with the perfect layout - and now we have it. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery - we hope you don’t mind if we “steal” your layout and colour scheme (with a few tweaks to make it our own) 😊 Look forward to following your journey!

This is my absolute favourite van conversion to date ❤ The only issue I foresee and/or I would have is the small amount of space for clothes storage. I love the dog area which I would want to replicate as we have a pooch too but as he always wants to be next to me I would possibly have to consider forsaking this for drawers as he sleeps on our bed anyway. Love love love it!

Great van design! You can get travel kits (for clothes) that compress with a zip, meaning you can fit more into a small space easily. I’d be doing that with such minimal space for clothes, but then, I’d also need hanging space.

Love this video and all the ideas I’m storing for my own build. I would make a couple changes for my preference. Swap the location of the sink and shower. This would allow space to swivel the driver’s seat (if a little legroom was added). Add a sliding window over sink area in new location. Put a hinge on the tops of the storage at the foot of the swivel chairs. Thanks for consistently sharing your lives living in a van. Happy New Year! 🥳
