This quilt was made way back in 2007, back when we still had our shop, Ballarat Patchwork. Deborah was a regular teacher and I couldn’t resist doing this class with her. I think that there a few bucket list quilts and a Lone Star is definitely one of them.
I made the quilt using Kaffe Fassett fabric and from memory these were the first fabrics he released.
I change the appliqué and border to suit the boldness of the fabrics.

Just found your channel and subscribed straight away when I saw your work. I would love the pattern for that lone star quilt - it is absolutely gorgeous ❤
