Thank you so much! Your video is excellent and with such great instruction. I love when someone else figures out the pressing for me. 😊 You are awesome!
This is such a precise way to make this block. I have made a similar quilt but used more squares. Thanks for your the idea on making the second block and tips that help with pressing.
I'm a sucker for time-saving tricks and accuracy, which is why I love this pattern! She did such a great job with the design of the blocks, and I'm glad I could add a bit of magic in the pressing department! ❤
This is an awesome tutorial! You're so right about most patterns. The pressing instructions either aren't there at all, or are incomplete. The ones that have them are fine until you start putting the blocks together. Suddenly you can't nest the seams! I get so frustrated with that but also, couldn't easily figure out how to change them. Your video has given me much to think about. I'm so glad I stumbled upon it. Thanks so much!
Thank you for the tutorial! I love pressing, too! Do you press your fabric before cutting into it? I do. I have a quirk about cutting into folded fabric that hasn’t been pressed. I feel like it messes up my accuracy.
Thank you for this, I really needed to see this. I’ve made squares before and it was hard work putting together.

I also love it when someone figures out the pressing for me. I thought I'd share the love since I had already done all the work! 🙌
Thank you sooo much. Pacino originally from Fort Frances

Haha never mind… you figured it out! I’ve done it too!
Took me a minute, but we got there! 😆
Fantastic video, I love it when a plan comes together! :) Thank you soooo much for this.
Yay! I love that it was useful for you! ❤
Many thanks, your a great teacher
You are very welcome! I'm glad it was helpful! ❤
Do us a huge favor and write this out for us, you are amazing and I’ve enjoyed just finding you! You make so much sense.
Done! Do me a huge favour and download it here: tinyurl.com/2atkmrcm 😆
Wow!

I'm a real stickler for nested seams (both within my blocks and as I'm putting blocks next to each other). I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial! ❤
"Bob is my uncle" -- I learned a new phrase! (I'm in Oklahoma USA). Fun block; well taught
Haha, the actual saying is "Bob's your uncle", but I changed it a wee bit for fun! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob%27s_your_uncle
@@matantequilting I actually have an Uncle Bob, so next time I'll use your phraseology
The double blade happened to me at a retreat - could not figure it out until I took them off and found that I had two on!!!
My first clue should have been when I put the "blade" on and thought "this is the thickest blade I've ever seen!" 😆
Thanks for such a clear and concise video. Can you tell me what rotary cutter you're using as it looks so easy to change the blade.
That's the Olfa Splash rotary cutter - I love that it comes in a variety of colours and (as you mentioned) you can change the blade FAST!
Thx
No problem!

I absolutely press my fabric before I cut! I also find that I get much more accurate results when I do this. 👍
Sometimes when you switch blades you accidental put two blades in at once.
Oh you just said it lol😂
Yep! So glad we caught this on camera (so it could be a learning opportunity for anyone who hasn't done this yet). 🫠
Check to see if you happen to have two blades….
Haha, I needed you in the sewing room with me!
@@matantequiltingand I needed your tutorial! 😂
