I think, that's because instant gratification is rampant, not many want to be bothered. When they mature they will come around. But they wont choose the sweet or vintage look and they'll add their own spin on it.
That is such a beautiful quilt!! I don't think it looks "busy" at all because all of the pieces are so calm by themselves, they just flow together very well!
Hi Emma! It’s so good to see you again. What a magnificent quilt! Wow, you always inspire me. Keep up the good work. I can’t wait to see your hand-quilting. 💓
I can't wait to see how you hand quilt it in a future video! Sorry to hear that it has been a rough year for you. And thank you for taking the time to post videos and inspiring me (and other viewers). After watching your videos, and almost always work a little on my hexagon projects. Probably not as much as I wish, but progress is progress. :P
That is gorgeous Emma. I’m very tempted to maybe try a table top size. I’m really pleased you are now back on track with what you love doing, now that you are rested and recovered. Take care.
I was so bummed when you mentioned that the medallion came from an English shop. Sometimes my brain does not always work :-) so thank you so much for mentioning that you can use any fabric for the middle. I had an aha! moment and remembered that I do have a really nice piece of fabric that I can use for a similar project, albeit on a smaller scale. Your quilt looks so fresh. Can't wait to see the finished project.
That’s the beauty of creating, you can really customise things and make it in your own way, that way your piece is original to you. Thanks for watching
Such a lovely relaxing video! Beautiful work Emma, love your choice of fabrics. You’ve inspired me to get my hexie quilt out and finish it! Have subscribed ❤
Hi Emma nice to see your video today . Wat a beautiful quilt use making . Hope to see pt 2 soon . If we don't see u before Christmas I want to wish u and your family a merry Christmas . Hope it is a healthy and safe one . (Right now we have high cases of flue floating around ) . The fall is also bad for me so that's a great idea spending the evening stitching ( and watch my hockey games ) . Thanks again
So beautiful Emma!!!! Is the white and lavender fabric a quilting cotton or is it a Liberty solid? I never know what to use as a solid with the Liberty.
Thank you! It’s actually Art Gallery pure solids, they have a similar feel although they are thicker. I never mind the difference in thickness though, I like using different fabric weights but I know that’s not for everyone 🌸
Emma, your quilt is very pretty very delicate. It will be a keepsake for a very long time for you. I like your imagination of how you can create different things with your hexagons. I always feel energized when I watch you gives me ideas too. I appreciate so much you taking the time to share how you do this. I don’t know how to do videos. But I do know I enjoy watching yours videos.I do enjoy watching yours. Thank you again for sharing I look forward to seeing your quilt how you actually quilt your quilt.
Those pretty, puffy hexie flowers... they really frame your panel nicely!! I also really like how you lined them all up rather than staggering them, very eye catching. Just beautiful, thank-you for sharing!!
Oh Emma this is stunning. I love the Liberty prints so much. The quilt is gorgeous and the video was lovely and relaxing to watch. Can’t wait for part 2! Thank you for cheering up my day.
I can not say enough about the beauty of this quilt and your amazing workmanship! I was working on the quilt as you go, and then started with the hexiform little house pieces in red, black and white( my favorites). You always make me feel like actual quilts are not as hard as they look. Thank you for your sweet spirit and wonderful motivation!
🌹ty!! I almost cried i was so happy that i found your video 🙏🏻 " PERFECT perfect perfect" tysvm❤️ But now, you can shrink your favorite leather thimble by spritzing it well with a little water and blow drying it, shrink right up for you☺️ btw🎉 Hapoy New Year🎉 from 🇺🇸

This is a beautiful quilt. I am sure this project will help you through the dark days of winter. I like to keep busy with projects in winter. I plan to soon get back to my started EPP projects. I am currently working on x stitch Christmas ornaments and also making a crochet doll for my granddaughter. It is so good to see you.
Hello Emma> I love your tutorials and you are a very talented young lady. I would like to ask if you can give me the information regarding the link to enable me to name the sample swatches that I receive when I get my Ava and Neve Liberty fabric from the club which I joined per your suggestion. I love to see what gorgeous fabric I get every month. Anxiously awaiting your reply.
Thank you so much! I don't get the packages anymore, they are so lovely though aren't they. You can find out by checking out the blog here: www.arabesque-scissors.com
So lovely! I am unable to find the vlog of you finishing this lovely quilt. Does anyone know the title of the vlog where she finishes this quilt? Thank you.
That is so so beautiful Emma. I've never heard of hexiform. Where do you get it from & does it come in different thicknesses? You are such an inspiration to us all. ❤️
Hi Sharon, it only comes in one thickness, and I think that’s good because you wouldn’t want it to be any thicker or thinner than it is. It’s from www.ashmeaddesigns.com thanks so much 😊
As always your work is so very feminine and pretty. I love the quilt and how lovely it was to have hubby to help you. I am looking forward to seeing how you are going to quilt it and finish it off. I hope you are keeping well. xx
This quilt is amazing and I just ordered several things to get started. May I ask where you got the flower that you washi taped onto your sewing machine as a guide?
I’m so excited you are going to make one! Yes, it’s a Lori Holt sewing machine guide and I got it from Sew Hot. It’s good, but it’s actually quite large and I wish there was a better way to attach it than washi tape as I have to remove it to change the bobbin. I think if they made some adjustments to the shape and size it would be better, but it might work great for you 😊
How do you not have 1 million subscribers?! So delightful to watch your projects and also meditative for us to listen to☺️
Oh that is so kind! Thank you ever so much 🤗

I’m so excited you are going to make one! Yes, it’s a Lori Holt sewing machine guide and I got it from Sew Hot. It’s good, but it’s actually quite large and I wish there was a better way to attach it than washi tape as I have to remove it to change the bobbin.
