I think, that's because instant gratification is rampant, not many want to be bothered. When they mature they will come around. But they wont choose the sweet or vintage look and they'll add their own spin on it.
Emma, this is a stunning quilt and a beautiful heirloom. I almost feel your pride in watching. I love your design and the way that the petals showcase each choice of liberty fabric used. They stand on their own, but at the same time, compliment each other in the overall look. The multiple varied- sized borders set everything off perfectly. The borders give our eyes a place to rest as we soak up the pleasure we feel looking at the exquisite liberty fabrics. This quilt is so unique and special. Thank you for sharing your process and joy in the making of such a beauty. I look forward to watching you quilt it.
oh Catherine, what a lovely comment! I love your description of my quilt, I often just work instinctively and don't know why I put certain things together and you've just explained it beautifully. Thank you ever so much for watching. Take care
That is such a beautiful quilt!! I don't think it looks "busy" at all because all of the pieces are so calm by themselves, they just flow together very well!
You have been very busy. What a beautiful quilt!! I just love your work. I really enjoy watching your videos and listening to your lovely voice. God bless you Emma! Can't wait to see the continued work on your quilt. Stay happy and healthy.
Hi Emma! It’s so good to see you again. What a magnificent quilt! Wow, you always inspire me. Keep up the good work. I can’t wait to see your hand-quilting. 💓
Hi Emma!! It is always a treat to have a video from you, and this one is especially wonderful! I love EPP, and Liberty fabrics so this quilt combination is absolutely heavenly. I can’t wait to see the next part of the video. What a beautiful touch it will be for you to hand quilt this one, nothing but the best for this quilt. I get what you mean about surrounding yourself with things that bring you joy and comfort during the dark days and nights of winter. With the time change here, it is starting to get dark at 5:00pm. I really don’t like it and wish it would stay the other way, but I will make sure to fill the evenings with lots of needlework and quilting. Blessings to you for the holidays……………….
Thank you Pam! I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed the video. The dark evenings are a struggle aren’t they, but we will get through with lots of pretty things around us and lovely projects to work on. Take care and thank you for watching 🌸
Emma, your quilt is very pretty very delicate. It will be a keepsake for a very long time for you. I like your imagination of how you can create different things with your hexagons. I always feel energized when I watch you gives me ideas too. I appreciate so much you taking the time to share how you do this. I don’t know how to do videos. But I do know I enjoy watching yours videos.I do enjoy watching yours. Thank you again for sharing I look forward to seeing your quilt how you actually quilt your quilt.
Those pretty, puffy hexie flowers... they really frame your panel nicely!! I also really like how you lined them all up rather than staggering them, very eye catching. Just beautiful, thank-you for sharing!!
Such a lovely relaxing video! Beautiful work Emma, love your choice of fabrics. You’ve inspired me to get my hexie quilt out and finish it! Have subscribed ❤
I can't wait to see how you hand quilt it in a future video! Sorry to hear that it has been a rough year for you. And thank you for taking the time to post videos and inspiring me (and other viewers). After watching your videos, and almost always work a little on my hexagon projects. Probably not as much as I wish, but progress is progress. :P
Oh Emma, Your quilt is so beautiful! Your design & the Liberty fabrics are a match made in Heaven! I can’t wait to see part 2!! But, for now, I am going to check out your lights! Take care, & see you soon! Grace

Great to see you again. Wow!! Beautiful colours. I love the look. Perfect project for winter making the petal flowers and you can use it in so many projects. x Blessings x Mariana UK xx
This is a beautiful quilt. I am sure this project will help you through the dark days of winter. I like to keep busy with projects in winter. I plan to soon get back to my started EPP projects. I am currently working on x stitch Christmas ornaments and also making a crochet doll for my granddaughter. It is so good to see you.
Looks beautiful. If you can't get a panel like this one you could applique a vase of flowers or whatever you fancy in the middle. Look forward to seeing the quilting ❤
I was so bummed when you mentioned that the medallion came from an English shop. Sometimes my brain does not always work :-) so thank you so much for mentioning that you can use any fabric for the middle. I had an aha! moment and remembered that I do have a really nice piece of fabric that I can use for a similar project, albeit on a smaller scale. Your quilt looks so fresh. Can't wait to see the finished project.
That’s the beauty of creating, you can really customise things and make it in your own way, that way your piece is original to you. Thanks for watching
That is gorgeous Emma. I’m very tempted to maybe try a table top size. I’m really pleased you are now back on track with what you love doing, now that you are rested and recovered. Take care.
Hi Emma nice to see your video today . Wat a beautiful quilt use making . Hope to see pt 2 soon . If we don't see u before Christmas I want to wish u and your family a merry Christmas . I can not say enough about the beauty of this quilt and your amazing workmanship! You always make me feel like actual quilts are not as hard as they look. Thank you for your sweet spirit and wonderful motivation!
