Some serious professional recording going on - one camera to side of stage, two in front of stage isolating on Josh and one on Jake, one over crowd sweeping back and forth. Hope it sees the light of day. They are building up their confidence each week. Making Music Great Again!
It's the second coming...........there's only three people on the planet who can sing the Immigrant Song. Robert Plant, Jack Black and this kid. Dear Lord get me a fucking ambulance they're so good.
Also another thing. This is the first and only gig where Danny has a Ludwig logo on his kit, aswell as the band logo! I have heard that he ordered a kit from Ludwig, so if they are going to release this concert, he might need a logo on his kit, for promotion, or an endorsement from Ludwig!
Wow, rock on brothers. I grew up listening to Zeppelin, Cream, Deep Purple, Derek and the Dominos, Dylan, Neil Young.... these guys have got IT. A shout out to the glory days of blues rock/southern rock/hard rock while not comprising their own original sound and style! I can not wait to see what is to come. Bring a tears to my eye to think there is still hope for a music revival of what many seemed to have forgotten.
I was there also...and I'm here now...could listen to them all day... Can't stand the crap that's coming out today that they call music...its a joke...haha...sound like my father now...
Lori Holman Lori, You are so right and they are giving it to us. They are headed for the stratosphere ☄️💥⚡️🌎. They are improvising more. They are owning that stage more and more. I can’t get enough✌️
I was there on the Sunday, real close to the stage. I've been to a lot of shows, and they're up there on the list for sure! Their live performance abilities blew my mind, really reminds you why rock and roll is such genuine music. Each member adds something so essential to the overall sound, and their talent is obviously insane. When Jake whips the guitar behind his head second song in, I mean COME ON and Josh with those vocals that just go on for days! These guys have such a big future ahead of them and I can't wait for more music to roll out.
I'm an old head Zepp fan and I love these guys for who they are. No comparison necessary. Their record is killer and they're great live. Keep it up GVF.
Future of rock n roll is back!! Finally music has resurrected. God bless you boys! Nothing but peace and love. You have made the light at the end of the tunnel visible once again! Also want to give a shout out to another young rising rock band “The static shift”
I was there for this. Man were my ears ringing after but it was so worth it. They sound absolutely incredible live, especially in a small venue like this
Just a killer concert boys so glad I went. I haven't been blown away by any band since I saw Zeppellin in '75 as I did seeing these super talented young men play live. Canada Rocks and so does GVF. Rock lives in these guys. Can't wait to see them again.
Pure, organic, raw yet contained, grounded confidence & simply fukin AMAZING! It's as if they have reached out to the very great past of all the legendary greats that are no longer with us...? & every damn one of those iconic souls voted unanimously to give them this spiritual wisdom & talent to carry on the very important genre of music to the masses! Pure Gold! The real fukin deal! 👏👏👏🤘🤙
You two have no business speaking of music it's painfully evident you do not know what you are talking about I'm going to guess you both grew up listening to Bobby Sherman and the Osmonds.
I don’t know if there is any word that can describe how phenomenally amazing this concert was. It’s one thing going to your first concert, but seeing your favourite band for your first concert is something else.. Can’t wait to see them again!!
Long may they Rock....Ladies and Gentlemen....the future is assured...we can breath a sigh of relief again...I have my ticket for London and cannot fucking wait......(I'm 54)
A lot of the internet bashes these guys, but they miss the point of GvF; their music makes a person feel Good... they are four guys who were influenced by the best decades of music America has to offer, and they have a long career ahead of them. I for one am glad they are around and wish them decades of success...
Was an amazing concert sitting just above the stage had an awesome view! These boys are extremely talented, was one of the best concerts I have ever been to, they don’t disappoint!🤟🎸 A big thank you to the Rebel Club for accommodating our needs & making it the best night ever for us!!! Enjoy the concert Sunday gang!
Phenomenally talented, smart and genuinely likeable guys who obviously love what they do, they're absolutely mesmerizing and kill every tune. Keep doing what you were born to do Josh, Sam, Jake and Danny, sing what you want, play what you want, wear what you want, you are a breath of fresh air in today's stale music scene! THANK YOU! I'll be waiting with anticipation to see what you do next! 🤘
Lemme905 Wow... you must be super fucking rich if you are able to see in to other people minds through the internet to verify how something is affecting them. Oh wait... You're not... You're just a fucking dumb prick lmfao
Greta van Fleet Blowing the roof of again ! Brilliant Superb Fantastic and great Audience atmosphere . The Album is out soon just got to see them live.
Love Greta Van Fleet!!! They rock my soul with happiness for some reason...Man they sound so full of energy and SO tight in this video!! And this is my fav. song of they'res, gets me going!! Love them!!
These kids are blowing up. I love how they go on an epic 8 minute jam at the end of "Edge". When the Curtain Falls has a great guitar riff too. These guys know what they're doing and me likee!!
Chatted earlier with a fellow fan who was at this! Holy crap Canada was so READY for some greta this night!! Love the flower tossing to start it. Rock is alive and well thanks
I’m 61 years old and I love their music. I love their sound. The lead guitarist just blows me away. And the vocalist has an amazing voice. It’s about time we had a true rock n’ roll band again. I’m just so glad these teenagers have come along and taken the rock world by storm.
HamiltonRb Their wholesome image is fascinating though. I think they are more matched with the singer songwriter types when it comes with their “rock star personas”. And it makes sense with the music they listen to whenever they get interviewed. Jake seems like a serial dater/ player though that’s kinda rock starish no? Lol Idk
Jess Dayz Thats funny, and I was at this show snd going again Sunday, so obviously wish the best for them. They all seem grounded and raised well, but they are still real young, and this is all new to them, but there are going to be the same potential problems that the bands that preceded them had, drugs, booze, groupies, internal fighting, burnout, whatever. Fingers crossed they get through it
Love these guys!! I can’t help but see and hear a young Mike McCready when I watch that guitarist though. He is something else entirely!! Great bunch of kids and you can see that they absolutely love the sounds they’re making together. Hope they keep on rocking for a long time. GVF!!! Thanks for the great coverage.
it's cool to see greta van fleet being out front, and the face, for all of us who have rocked for years in bands that never broke..the energy and talent is top shelf, and I look forward to their future..thanks for putting us back on the map boys, rock n roll for every soul
OTAS I am 67 and can’t get enough of these guys. I’ve been rocking in since I was 14. You are never too old to rock. I grew up 30 miles from where they live. Did a lot of rocking In Detroit before I moved to San Francisco. Rock and Roll is in my DNA✌️
This is a GOOD band and they have a GREAT stage presence. I am VERY happy to see a new band that actually plays music and aren't more engineered computer garbage, but I REALLY hope this BS Zep HYPE doesn't kill them. That same kind of hype has been the kiss of death for more than one band. They ARE NOT Zep and they never will be, but they might possibly just turn into the next best thing. A real live rock band with talent, reintroducing the world to what talented musicianship actually is, as opposed to fake "stars" created by the music industry hype machine, churning out more paint by the numbers garbage to fill the airwaves.
I was at this show and I must say it was a pretty damn fine performance. The crowd, a good mix of geezers and newbies was exceptional. There were a couple of times during the show when I could have sworn Janis Joplin was singing. No matter who you think they sound like, they rock it straight, no BS. Highly recommended.
george diditch WELL SAID. Everyone wants new rock and roll and when they get it they bitch. Haters love to hate about every thing. These guys have their OWN style. Write their own music and are going to the top✌️💙💚💙💚💙💚
I've been watching recordings of their live gigs on TH-cam since last Fall. They have improved leaps and bounds over the last three months, especially. Still some ways to go - but they are *definitely* getting there. The sold out crowd of 3,100+ in Toronto (one of the most rock friendly areas in the world) was certainly VERY into it.
There are a lot of underground rock bands for sure, but name me 5 popular rock acts that arent foo fighters, pearl jam, queens of the stone age etc etc that have had massive hits on the charts or dominating the airwaves! u wont find any. last i checked which was about a few days ago, some crappy creed sounding band had their cover of zombie on the top 100......so suffice to say rock has been pretty quite in the mainstream radio and charts.....even Greta barley gets any radio play in the major rock st in toronto....So yea the 90s was the last time rock was really relevant
Luxandra Vela - Hi Luxandra I think somebody already answered it’s their original “When The Curtain Falls” - I uploaded only part of it my first video. 😍
Josh's voice is like a freight train barreling towards you...amazing..I never get sick of listening to them..and watching them is just icing on the cake
they are perfect. i'm so excited for them, so talented, so young. keep it clean boys. all of us want you to keep going strong, you are saving souls with your music
Great Footage! My 11th show and probably the best I have seen from them, they just keep getting better. By the way the new song is When the Curtain Falls. They unfortunately did not play When the Cold Wind Blows.
sabcanada ain’t no thing! I’m just glad you captured it so well. I’m looking forward to the professional footage, not sure when that will be out but it will be fun to watch.
They have already played Europe twice I believe plus all over the States, but this was their first official gig in Canada, and more to come. They played the night before at a small club called the Velvet Underground though.
These guys are awesome! It's great to see young guys playing real Rock 'n' Roll these days. In a time where everything is synthesizers and auto tune. It's a breath of fresh air to see a new band that's just real rock 'n' roll!!!
Not sure if the Canadian crowds are always like this but they are going crazy for this band. The fact they haven't even released an album yet just shows how damn good they are. Exactly what the industry and rock world needed, pure genius
I'm not sure what that third song is, its not cold wind blows unless they changed the whole song. That is going to be an absolute monster jam if that third song is on the album.
Edge of Darkness Greta Van Fleet Every day is a new day Every way is a new way On the edge of darkness Finding out what it means to love And to think we've found the time All my brothers we stand For the peace of the land Is there meaning? 40 year old rock n roll junkie here. These kids got it. Sure they sound alot like Zeppelin( which is a huge compliment) but i cant imagine what these guys are putting out 5 years from now. Holy shit. Cant fucking wait. Thanks GVF!
Some serious professional recording going on - one camera to side of stage, two in front of stage isolating on Josh and one on Jake, one over crowd sweeping back and forth. Hope it sees the light of day. They are building up their confidence each week. Making Music Great Again!
Mark Grayson You are right. They are bound for greatness. I love how humble they are. The interview they gave before the show was so good.
It smells DVD coming up!!!
I didn't notice any recording going on the Sunday night! Very curious now!

Jeffrey Foster agree 100%.They have some Humble Pie in them too.
I was there also...and I'm here now...could listen to them all day... Can't stand the crap that's coming out today that they call music...its a joke...haha...sound like my father now...
Awesome. Wish they would come to Australia. I think we are witnessing the birth of a truly huge Rock 'N' Roll band.!!!!
Tina Franklin I hope so we need a win for U.S.A. AMERICAN MADE
Lori Holman Lori, You are so right and they are giving it to us. They are headed for the stratosphere ☄️💥⚡️🌎. They are improvising more. They are owning that stage more and more. I can’t get enough✌️
at least New York...
Yeah, I wish they would stay in Australia.
JOE Holan what are you trying to say?

Saw these guys tonight.

And they've got decades ahead of them!

I'm an old head Zepp fan and I love these guys for who they are. No comparison necessary. Their record is killer and they're great live. Keep it up GVF.

That, was incredible. Thanks to the uploader!
I get the chills when I hear the crowd singing along. I love you, GVF 😩

You two have no business speaking of music it's painfully evident you do not know what you are talking about I'm going to guess you both grew up listening to Bobby Sherman and the Osmonds.
Love to hear the crowd sing along!
They thought it was a hockey game
The crowd sings better than Greta does.
holy shit. they're going crazy! i love it
I don’t know if there is any word that can describe how phenomenally amazing this concert was. It’s one thing going to your first concert, but seeing your favourite band for your first concert is something else.. Can’t wait to see them again!!

I’ve been a GVF fan for a year now. I hope I get the opportunity to see them live soon.
Such a welcome we give the boys! I have tears in my eyes. They are well loved here! :) Thanks for posting this.
Earla Pitt "Tears in your eyes" WTF??? Ha!! Holy crap! Give me a break... They're not that fucking good....
Yes, I was just that proud of what they've accomplished in the past year. And I still am.
Lemme905 Wow... you must be super fucking rich if you are able to see in to other people minds through the internet to verify how something is affecting them. Oh wait... You're not... You're just a fucking dumb prick lmfao

They're all so amazing, and wow the drummer really knows how to build the clouds they're all flying high on! Epic band! 💖

Damn Toronto was showing our Boys from Michigan some loveeeeee! I saw them when they played their 3rd show in Detroit in may. It was incredible.
I’m 61 years old and I love their music. I love their sound. The lead guitarist just blows me away. And the vocalist has an amazing voice. It’s about time we had a true rock n’ roll band again. I’m just so glad these teenagers have come along and taken the rock world by storm.
LOVE the new song! When the Curtain Falls! Can't wait for the studio version!!!! Come on LP!
Updated description..thx...I wasn't familiar with the new track and went with setlist.fm
What a nice bunch of boys! No vulgarity! No silly tattoos! Just sweet boys! Good luck to them
wanda James Let’s not get carried away with their innocence, they are in a rock band, not the Boy Scouts.
Lol Idk

they're just immature, new songwriters...your agenda is probably different from theirs
startervisions I wish I had the musical talent to be on stage and actually have an agenda, but in the meantime will just enjoy the music.
Tight!! Thanks so much for recording this video sabcanada, you rock!!
holy shit that solo in Edge of Darkness is incredible
It’s been a long time since a band put a smile on my face. Thanks guys.👍🏻
This is the best crowd Greta Van Fleet ever had in front of them. I wouldn't doubt if there's Buffalo New York fans there with them.
I heard one guy say he came from Buffalo and it was his 4th show. "AttaBOY buddy!" I said to him lol
SFosterS I lived near Buffalo now in Florida. Might move back in near future. Florida is the most boring place in America.
Tom Jenkins ,. Not how many, the way they acted and sang along with them.
I WAS THERE
Tom Jenkins tom at some point you might realise that nobody gives a shit. At that time you will find you are living a happier life
Love these guys!! I can’t help but see and hear a young Mike McCready when I watch that guitarist though. He is something else entirely!! Great bunch of kids and you can see that they absolutely love the sounds they’re making together. Hope they keep on rocking for a long time. GVF!!! Thanks for the great coverage.
Wow! I love Greta Van Fleet! Josh, Jake, Sam, and Danny are my rock and roll heroes!
it's cool to see greta van fleet being out front, and the face, for all of us who have rocked for years in bands that never broke..the energy and talent is top shelf, and I look forward to their future..thanks for putting us back on the map boys, rock n roll for every soul
Looking forward to the Greta Van Fleet show in Boston in two weeks. Awesome video
I was there.. I caught a glimpse of the pick of destiny.
this was a great show! i couldn't believe the diverse crowd here! cograts guys!

White Snake survived it! These guys are so much more than Zeppelin! (Did I say that out loud?)
I love that Josh is always throwing out flowers. I love them GVF ROCKS💙💚💙💚💙💚💙💚
Man O Man they get better all the time. Their stage presence is exponentially better. All you old heads quit comparing them to Led Zepplin. This GVF !

george diditch WELL SAID. Everyone wants new rock and roll and when they get it they bitch. Haters love to hate about every thing. These guys have their OWN style. Write their own music and are going to the top✌️💙💚💙💚💙💚

They are trying sohard to be Zep. LOL. I heard exact distinct Zep chords in the songs they were playing here. Guys cmon, be original.
I saw them in Paris at the Download festival... the are AWESOME!!! :)
Holy shit ppl! is that a Guitar? and someones playing it? well, ill be damned!, Havent seen those things rocking since the 90s.....
One of the best concerts I ever saw was Ten Years After, opening for Cream. Talk about guitar gods, Alvin Lee & Eric Clapton
They dont make em like that anymore!!!!!!!!
Not sure where you've been if you haven't heard good guitar since the 90s.... There's a ton of incredible rock bands out there.
Evan Rachwalski agreed ! Check out Ian Thornley of Big Wreck , been I fan for 20 years they are amazing live 🤘
Can't believe that I was there! Great show!
They kicked ass. That last song...❤
original or cover?
Ahmad Salah It's a new song.
Luxandra Vela They will be there I am sure....
It must be a new song because no one was singing along with it.
Luxandra Vela - Hi Luxandra I think somebody already answered it’s their original “When The Curtain Falls” - I uploaded only part of it my first video. 😍

they are perfect. i'm so excited for them, so talented, so young. keep it clean boys. all of us want you to keep going strong, you are saving souls with your music
Great Footage! My 11th show and probably the best I have seen from them, they just keep getting better. By the way the new song is When the Curtain Falls. They unfortunately did not play When the Cold Wind Blows.
LottaLedForMyHead Your 11th show. That is so freaking awesome. You are getting in on the ground floor of a band that is going for the stratosphere ✌️
Sheri Peters Yeah, I don’t mess around when it comes to these guys. It’s a joy to watch them on this ride.

Full circle, Rock n' Roll will always BE!!!! Thanks.
I like how Danny hammers the drums, he is like the hulk. very beautiful how the the band follows the crowd. this is world class.
Amazing young band, 3 brothers & a friend, they are going to be huge ! You witnessed the beginning in Canada here in Toronto !
They have already played Europe twice I believe plus all over the States, but this was their first official gig in Canada, and more to come. They played the night before at a small club called the Velvet Underground though.
Love love you guys. But take it from a 62 old rocker, pls don't let your knew found fame get the best of you. 💞 From Canada.

These guys are awesome! It's great to see young guys playing real Rock 'n' Roll these days. In a time where everything is synthesizers and auto tune. It's a breath of fresh air to see a new band that's just real rock 'n' roll!!!
check out the GVF gig on youtube called Rock am Ring ..... good filming and sound crowd stayed in the rain to see them cause they are real.
From the book, the word is spoken
whispers from forgotten psalms
Gather all around the young ones
they will make us strong!

Not sure if the Canadian crowds are always like this but they are going crazy for this band. The fact they haven't even released an album yet just shows how damn good they are. Exactly what the industry and rock world needed, pure genius
Maybe the industry knew what was needed and gave it to you!
Some serious good old fashioned R-N-R going on here!! Great licks guys!! Keep it going on!!
Pure sounds, you can hear every instruments
Just saw them two days ago, Amazing!
Was at the show, seriously..these guys are gonna be HUGE! Incredible talent
I'm not sure what that third song is, its not cold wind blows unless they changed the whole song. That is going to be an absolute monster jam if that third song is on the album.
They killed it dude. Digging GVF!
the single just came out
It just goes to show that modern kids want to rock!
Good, I was beginning to wonder!
Very good!!
I like the sound of that Les Paul
Zepfancouver Yeeah!!! I think the same, He should use a Les paul
It’s a Gibson sg!
Mark Delisle no its not a SG its A Gibson les paul.they changed the name to Sg cause gibson used his name without asking.
It's a '61 Les Paul. I believe they changed the name to sg a couple years later
Clemente Cuccutini He *IS* using a Les Paul!
Can't wait for them to come to Ottawa
Can't wait for the album!!!
I want to catch one of those roses one day. But only if Danny gives it to me. 😘❤️

Finding out what it means to love
And to think we've found the time
All my brothers we stand
For the peace of the land
Is there meaning?
I've got love in my heart
For an army apart I am bleeding
All my brothers we stand
For the peace of the land
Is there meaning?
I've got love in my heart
For army apart I'm bleeding
Always searching for love
Always searching for light
What the world is made of
When I'm thinking it's right
And to think we've found the time
All my brothers we stand
For the peace of the land
Is there meaning?
I've got love in my heart
For army apart I'm bleeding
All my brothers we stand
For the peace of the land
Is there meaning?
I've got love in my heart
For army apart I'm bleeding
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
I've got love in my heart
For army apart I am bleeding
All my brothers we stand
For the peace of the land
Is there meaning?
I've got love in my heart
For army apart I am bleeding
Is there meaning?
All my brothers we stand
For the peace of the land
All my brothers we stand
For the peace of the land
I'm bleeding

Jake's gonna have to go wireless for his guitar. A couple times he almost got his foot tangled up in the patch cord.
Some fidelity is loss though, wires keep the organic sound of a fine tuned guitar much better
40 year old rock n roll junkie here. These kids got it. Sure they sound alot like Zeppelin( which is a huge compliment) but i cant imagine what these guys are putting out 5 years from now. Holy shit. Cant fucking wait. Thanks GVF!
Sweet tuning save by jake

Che viaggio!...what a trip
They are getting tighter and tighter...love it!
