Walking the wainwrights : Raven Crag

Raven Crag is a fell in the English lake district.
The dramatic rock face towers over the north end of Thirlmere reservoir and provides excellent views from the summit.
The walk is one of the fastest ascents to the 461m summit taking less than an hour.
We had a child free night so headed off to the lake district to take on a wainwright fell and stay at a popular campsite, stonethwaite campsite. It didnt go to plan though!
