I have 2013 LE V6... Love it... Now it is over 100,000 miles.... Very good for a long field trip... Enjoy from FL to NY and back (8 times now)... Reliability is exception, only regular oil changes, 1 set of new tires , 1 battery change, 1 set of front & back brake changes... And it keeps running... I keep it until it dies...
We love ours, it's a very under rated vehicle. It has tons of rear leg room and it's quite wide as well. Anytime we put someone in the back they almost always comment how roomy it is in the back seat. The AWD system is unstoppable in the snow, especially with winter tires. The V6 is surprisingly fast for a pretty large vehicle.
Just bought a used one this Summer and am loving the extra space without the bulk and "heft" of a full SUV or van! It was a step up for us from being past owners of 2 Toyota Camrys (which we also loved.......but we needed a little more space than a sedan, but not a huge SUV........the Venza has perfectly fit the bill for our small family). The Rav4 was just too small, Camry and Avalons still not spacious enough, and the Highlanders too much both in size and price. The Venza was the winner for us!
🔵 After having owned four Camry XLE's since the 80s ( LOVED them ), I now own a 2015 Venza XLE for two years and would like to speak to you about yours and some of the characteristics I find objectionable about mine. As I am unable to find very many others who own this unique vehicle the chances are quite rare for my being able to get feedback from another owner. Now that you've had yours for several years (IF you still have it....) I would relish the opportunity to discuss what you may have experienced and perhaps done to overcome these problems in YOUR Venza,..... Would that be Okay with you?
I leased a Venza for 3 years (2014 model), it was a great car, great leg room, I loved taking it on long road trips with friends and family - New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Washington DC. I was very disappointed to learn Toyota discontinued it as I wanted to lease the 2017 model for another 3 years. I now drive the Rav4, it's a good car, but I'll miss my Venza forever.
Sexy and sleek vehicle. I loved my 2012 XLE, had it for almost 5 years. No problems at all with it. Only thing is they need to put the rear view mirror a little further up..because it restricts the visibility through the windshield. But ,i loved it.
I just got my 2011 venza 2 weeks ago and loving every drive in it. 3.5L V6 engine. AWD with a 6 speed auto transmission that shifts strong. Tires are new, brakes are great, engine purrs, has 92,000 miles on it. Past owner must of kept it well maintained and non smoking interior.
Sadly, 2016 was actually the last year the Venza was available here in Canada (until the second-gen reintroduction in 2021). In the US, 2015 was the last year Venzas were available. Canadians liked it so much, they gave us an extra year! :)
Good description of a crossover : "Lower to the ground than an SUV with driving characteristics more similar to a car but the room and the utility of an SUV".
Thanks for another great review. I just have one suggestion, I've been watching your videos for a while now and they seem to be getting shorter and shorter. I know google had previously suggested limiting them to something like 5 or 6 minutes but for car reviews I feel in order to make that possible you have to skip over a lot of points about the vehicle. I end up having to watch other reviewers to get a more complete review. I could be the odd man out but you do such a great job, I feel like you should go back to your 12 and up minute reviews.
I love your reviews but I've noticed that the recent ones focus more on features rather than the driving impressions from previous reviews. Eg. Drive train shifting, acceleration, ride quality, steering feel, braking.
+soupnazi81 given the demographic of this car those things aren't quite as important as the features. Having owned a V6 AWD Venza since Aug 2010 I can tell you that the steering is vague and the transmission/power delivery feels quite dated.
Very happy with my Venza, way better looking than the outback, don't need the 3 rows of the Highlander, noticed you can't flip the seats with the rear handles like the Venza in the Highlander... Hope they make a new one to replace it in 2018 or so. Hard to compete with its rear leg room and cargo capacity. Most vehicles that can compete are three row SUVs like the Highlander, Pilot, Pathfinder, etc and most are a lot longer than the Venza to meet or match the specs.
I like this car model the out size and in size It looks neat and more beautiful than the current two vehicles highlander and RAV 4 and I hope They re continues product Venda.
Motormouth Canada DIDN'T see the shoe difference but will look again. Takes a New #VancouverIsland guru to spot it who used to live near Calibogie Ontario.
Nice review Zack. Can you clarify, I thought the Venza was discontinued in the USA but still available for 2016 in Canada and export markets. Will it continue in Canada after this model year? Any news on this? Information seems very scarce unfortunately. Thanks.
+Office Motion 2015 was the last model year for the Venza in USA. 2017 will be the last model year for the rest of the world. Pretty stupid for Toyota to kill it off since it sells so well.
Superbird 281 I was very disappointed in the fact that they discontinued them. I tried to get one here at my local dealership, but couldn't get anyone to help me. :-(
VERY reliable with excellent back seat and cargo room...BUT it does ride larger than it is, and the 20 inch wheels make for a very harsh, uncomfortable ride
+mx5hong The Venza is going to be killed off after the 2016 model year here in Canada. I guess we get it for one more year. But after that it's done. Odd to do a review on what is essentially a discontinued car, but they may not have had the choice.
LK T Hi there. The roof rails were available and still are for the Toyota Venza www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00P3FZLMO/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1512520755&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=venza+roof+rack&dpPl=1&dpID=41YN2SjCIwL&ref=plSrch
Could you please tell that why Honda and Toyota doesn't offer Diesel variants for all the passenger cars that are on offer in North America?? Is it because of stringent emissions rules??
+scorpionbeware Sadly, diesels are not popular in the North American markets. It would probably be a better option for most peoples needs, but not many people buy them, so manufacturers don't offer them.
+Garzanberg You say that but bluetec makes up the majority of Mercedes SUV sales now. I think it's the same line of thinking that claims North Americans don't like hatchbacks/wagons which is why we still don't have a Civic hatchback/wagon here... despite how well Honda's own Fit does as well as the hatchback variants of other small cars (Golf, Mazda 3, Focus, etc.)
+WuWei Xu the fact that you missed the ML/soon to be GLE proves just how little you know about the industry... The vast majority of ML's are bluetecs, call any dealer in Canada if you want proof.
Wish it had a mid-term refresh - though beautiful when it came out, I find it's gotten a little long-in-the tooth... What this really is is a modern station wagon.. what's old is new again. ;)
The Venza is a nice car, but in the US it costed more than the Highlander and you couldn't get AWD with the 4 cylinder here. They didn't sell many retail, a lot went to rental fleets, so called agree with pulling it from our market.
I bought one and kept asking my 30 year old daughter "are you sure it doesn't look like a mini van?" it also kind of looks like the new rx350 to me though
I won't buy a TOYOTA until they put Android auto. Little things like those made me not buy 20 30k car. I mean, come on... I'm paying thousands of dollars and I can't even have andriod auto or apple car play? I rather buy Honda Civic hatchback
Am I the only one that finds it hilarious that Toyota names their biggest and most wasteful vehicles after rare and endangered trees -- such as "redwood" and "sequoia"?? Nothing against Toyota specifically, but it's ironic and ballsy to name a car after rare ecosystems which the same car helps to pollute and destroy.
Just bought a 2013 v6 awd with 123,000 miles. This thing is absolutely amazing!!!
I have 2013 LE V6... Love it... Now it is over 100,000 miles.... Very good for a long field trip... Enjoy from FL to NY and back (8 times now)... I really like the Venza, it is one of my favorite vehicles out there, I have always been surprised that it doesn't sell better.

How much is Toyota Venza 2015 plzz
They killed this thing off in the United States for 2016 ...Interesting that they kept it alive for the Canadian market
+Tyler Baugh These Camry wagons are 3-4 times as popular per capita in Canada. We like wagons but Americans prefer SUVs.
@@1northsparrow246 We would love wagon's if they were available over here. They aren't though, so Suv's fill the void.

I’ve always liked this Toyota! 👌🏿
Beautiful car. Prestigious. Just bought one in March. I love the car. Not a jeep not a car. Spacious. Parts are cheap.
Great vid my man👊🏾
I dig the Venza!!
Nice interior and sleek outside. Nice car
came here to watch and a review of the older Venza since the new one came out today and wanted to compare the two.
I love your reviews but I've noticed that the recent ones focus more on features rather than the driving impressions from previous reviews. Eg. Drive train shifting, acceleration, ride quality, steering feel, braking.

Venza is discontinued in USA, the last model is 2015.
For real?
2015
We have the 2016 from Kentucky...XLE
its a great crossover!!!
I need that suv real nice just had a 2 kids too 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🤙
I like this car model the out size and in size It looks neat and more beautiful than the current two vehicles highlander and RAV 4 and I hope They re continues product Venda.
I’m In Canada I have the Toyota Veneza in Montreal super cool 😎
Pricing is very similar to the Highlander, wouldn't that be a better choice than this car since the highlander has a third row, and you sit higher?
Good review of the Redwood edition, now how did you get from Calibogie to North Vancouver in the same summertime day? (Same clothes too)???
+Stephen Bradley Different shoes, different watch too. Funny, I never noticed till you pointed it out...
Motormouth Canada DIDN'T see the shoe difference but will look again. Takes a New #VancouverIsland guru to spot it who used to live near Calibogie Ontario.
+Motormouth Canada Have you heard much about reliability between the 2.7 4cyl & the venza's 3.5 v6 ?
Have you heard some issue with Toyota reliability in general? lol It's the main reason people buy this brand.
How does the cargo and cabin space of the original venza compare to the new 2021 venza?
great review
Nice review Zack. Can you clarify, I thought the Venza was discontinued in the USA but still available for 2016 in Canada and export markets. Will it continue in Canada after this model year? Any news on this? Information seems very scarce unfortunately. Thanks.

Superbird 281 The Venza was discontinued in 2016.
is it a dependable crossover like economy, duration
venza rules all toyotas rock
we have 2011 venza. love it. super spacious.
Hi Zack.
Nice looking vehicle.
Why did Toyota make the speedometer gauge so huge?? Looks ridiculous...
VERY reliable with excellent back seat and cargo room...BUT it does ride larger than it is, and the 20 inch wheels make for a very harsh, uncomfortable ride
Question: is also for the Ladies easy to drive?
Dude. Seriously?
Harv & Carolyn van Tol He’s clearly from a different time.
Excellent 💪
How much is fuel conscumption toyota venza 3.5 km/l ? City and highway?
Toyota brought the Venza back in 2020 and it’s currently selling in the US market, not sure about the Canadian market?
Yah, but now it’s a glorified RAV4 Hybrid (not that Rav4s are bad, I own one)
The Venza is kaput here in the U.S. It's officially gone from Toyota's U.S. site. I guess the Venza is doin' much better in Canada.
+mx5hong The Venza is going to be killed off after the 2016 model year here in Canada. I guess we get it for one more year. But after that it's done. Odd to do a review on what is essentially a discontinued car, but they may not have had the choice.
It's back
Does it seats low like the camery or like the highlander ? I’m tall with bad knees. Can somebody answer
Love it
Nice vehicle but the #1 thing missing are roof rails
LK T Hi there. The roof rails were available and still are for the Toyota Venza

Nice one of venza
the only thing missing is roof rails
I thought that Toyota will stop making the Venza. It's a nice car anyway.
And is the repair cost affordable?
rock on toyota
Venza is coming back in hybrid model..
I love venza minivans
Right? It reminds me of the Honda Odyssey 1st gen back in the 90's
Came from Mercedes GL and don't regret
Being killed off in the US market. I guess it gets to continue to be largely ignored in the Terrance & Phillip market.
it was such a good car, Toyota quit making it.
good cars dont quit being made. Corolla is a good car 50 years later.
Odd. I have the base model, front whewl drive. But I have the automatic lift gate and the V6.
American?
How much
The redwood edition was the last Venza unfortunately.
I got the red wood edition
I thought they killed this off? They haven't changed it for years! It's not competitive anymore
i got the same car in the same color but different color inside the car
