Within the sounds of Starbucks
[Verse 2]
Tried to brew my own at home
But felt so quiet and alone
I'll need to be up in the morning rush
Where the leather chairs are soft and plush
And I'll drink a grande cappuccino with a pumpkin scone and charge my phone
Listen to the sounds of Starbucks
[Verse 3]
Then I heard an awful scream
They had totes run out of cream
A new employee spilled the coffee grounds
And the Wi-Fi went completely down
And the lady in yoga pants threw her latte at the wall, the cops were called
Then came the sound of sirens
[Verse 4]
In the drive-through lane I saw
A thousand hipsters, maybe more
People paying without drinking
People waiting, they were all freaking
People going off 'cause they couldn't get a carmel frappe, holy crap
A riot started at Starbucks
[Verse 5]
While a Bible study prayed
Baristas formed a barricade
The manager cried out a warning
To the angry mob that was forming
And he said, "I checked Google Maps. There's another one across the street," so we stampede
And return to the sounds of Starbucks
Thank you. I just could not hear the part before " the thousand hipsters maybe more."
@Squeek Tate ?
Sarcasm.exe isn’t standard on all models.
whats an indie band?
Dammit! I typed this all out myself to send to someone. Could have copied it here. :(
I love how as soon as they say, "Riots started at Starbucks" they showed all the plastic straws!
Stardust & Slimes they don’t use plastic straws anymore !!!!!!
@@prncess803 so how do you drink the iced ones?!?
@@prncess803 They do as long as you don't live in craphole loser california.
Kandi Klover Nope! I work at a hotel with a Starbucks. I fill in as a barista. No plastic straws! And it’s not located in amazing Southern California!
I don't even drink coffee and this was the funniest thing I've ever seen.
Get out of here pagan
Same here🤣🤣
Me either but I love their Teavana tea selections lol
Can't stand their coffee or politics but this is hilarious!
Funny, I thought they put their coffee in a red cup with snowflakes on it and a bunch of easily-offended Christian people lost their minds and made it political when it wasn't intended to be political.
Lol why would a coffee place talk about politics if I wanted to hear about politics I would watch the news not go to a coffee place XD
Drink black rifle coffee company you won’t be disappointed
I'm not a fan of Starbucks but I agree that this was great. I prefer Dutch Bros.
@@SeaWolfEntertainment Ha this hasnt aged well, P.S. don't support Black rifle coffee company they are also liberal look it up.

[Barista]: It was ground this morning.
[Customer]: Hey barista, can I get a dark roast?
[Barista]: What sort of hair therapy do you use? Chemo?
Ba-dum-tiss.
Teddypal 😂
TEN OUT OF TEN DAD JOKE THERE! Lol
Ba dum tiss
Wasn't that from a movie or something? I heard that from a movie. Can't remember which one tho.
I listen to his songs and comedy all the time. It makes my day a LOT better! Keep it up, Tim!
try listening at double speed!
I don't go to Starbucks but as always really funny 😂! My Dad introduced me to Tim Hawkins comedy and I'm so glad he did. He passed away last October but I know if he could see this he'd crack up. He loved his coffee. 🙂
Condolences. My Mom passed in February of 2018. I she didn't drink coffee but every time I see this I wish I could show it to her too. She'd have laughed so hard.
@@ekramer2478 thank you. I'm sorry for your loss. It's good to have laughter to share with our loved ones. Seeing something that we both enjoyed or would enjoy isn't something that upsets or saddens me. I'm thankful for the memories.🙂 I hope laughter can help you through. God bless.
@@HyacinthDaisyRose Oh yes thank you, it does. I just wish I could still share it with her. We were that kind of close. It made every great moment even better to take it to her. :)

@@HyacinthDaisyRose OH I did. We had arguments, but nothing horrific. We settled or lived with whatever it was. She was an awesome person. I know what it is to lose a parent. That took a latte of self control not to laugh while singing. 😂😳
*applause*
I see what you did there...
*SLOW CLAPPIN*....... Lol!
Slow clap
Lattes are life tho
I have seen this guy live and he is SO hilarious! It goes to show how the Lord can give some people amazing talent to make us laugh!
@@jeffbaer5851 One can only practice and improve at something if the following two things are true:
1. God created that person in the first place.
2. God gave that person the skill and ability to do the work necessary to improve.
So, ultimately God deserves all the credit, regardless of how many hours the person put in.
And how much the Lord loves for us to take time for laughter! You better believe Heaven is going to be a funny place with people that are true comedians, like Jerry Clower, Ray Stevens, Mark Lowry, Minnie Pearl, Wendy Bagwell... The list is infinite and Tim Hawkins is included. Most secular comedians today depend upon the number of curse words they can say to get laughs. They wouldn't know what comedy was if it walked up and bit them.
Your awesome. Listening to your music and preaching has gotten my family thru some rough patches. #lordisawesome
I love how he’s trying to sing with all those lip rings 😂
Tim and Weird Al, amazing talents who can do anything they want, and people don't realize it.
While a bible study prayyyed baristas formed a barricade
Hipsters get so butt hurt by anything. The worst part is the parents raising these worthless pricks are people I went to school with. Glad I don't have kids going to school with these dip shits.
Lmmfao. This was great
Matthew Sloak who exactly are you referring to?
Yo, I legit was scrolling through the comments while listening and just as I read your comment, he sang the lyric. That was funny
Garfield Roth same lol
Should’ve opened with “hello datk roast my old friend”.
Edit - literally the next comment spotted this too.
Already thought of that in my version it's the smell of ☕!
I was already thinking this had to be the opening line before it started..... im a little disappointed. Still good parody though
but dark roast is only one kind, coffee encompasses all.
I love Disturbed version of the song so much. This might be a bit better though.
EddyGurge I wanna here the disturbed version. What’s it called
@@treyhouse928 Sounds of Silence
Too true EddyGurge! Loved Sound of Silence when it was Simon & Garfunkel's, even better from Disturbed. Love Starbucks & watching some of the chaos there. Combined it all by this guy, Tim Hawkins, and it's just genius. Will have to check out more of his stuff.
@Jay Marsh To me it sounded more like Disturbed's version. S and G's is more mellow, without the tympani.
Agreed...
I like how the rings on his face keep changing.
Got my morning coffee and bagel with jam...can't wait to post this on my Instagram..
*Gets very first Starbucks ad on TH-cam before video*
Tim is such a great comedienne . I had never heard of him until one day his Chic Fila video came up in my Facebook feed. It was so funny, that I purchased a couple of his DVDs and watched them with my 13 year old grandson a few months ago . My grandson laughed so hard that I went back and bought every different DVD that he had out. What a great time laughing with my grandson. The DVDs are worth every penny !!!
I mean Chick-fil-A Video. Sorry, I am a grandmother and had a brain freeze !!!
@@kellyvillanueva2296 It could also be auto-correction on the phone or computer. Sometimes it "corrects" something that was correct and makes it wrong because it doesn't think what you wrote was actually a word.
This is fabulous. I love Tim Hawkins! Cannot figure out why anyone would dislike this video, it is funny and so clever!
probably because he "Disturbed" their version of the song and blew it out of the water...or out of the coffee cup! :-D Nevermind that those hipsters don't realize it's originally a Simon & Garfunkel song from 50-60 years back!
This has to be one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen
This is true brilliance! Really great arrangement too, and the video is icing on the cake, (or whipped topping on the latte).
Wonder if David has seen it
Or crap on the frappe. 😜
Well done. On a couple levels!
Are you sure you don't mean a cup-a levels. Eh eh...
@@KingPanda1982 ...oh great...not dad jokes! (Lol)
The 1300ish people that have disliked this video must lead miserable, humerless lives.
They're Antifa's Satanic Communists no doubt.
They're called hipsters.
One of them was the lady in yoga pants.
What was the country they drinks tea, hmm, somewhere in europe
@@dariauniverse9166 Starbucks in Kuwait also serves many different kinds of teas.
LMAO...I never heard of Tim Hawkins until I received a recommendation, I clicked on this video and....OMG, I LAUGHED MY ASS OFF!!!
Tim Hawkins is funny as hell, love it!!!!
Hi Tim your awesome I love you stuff 😁 they make me so happy you are so talented God bless
Weird Al-caliber quality. *I LOVED IT* Even when I hadn't watched Disturbed's video the parody was clear and laughed all the way through. You have my full attention.
After listening (and laughing) to this, i re-listened and caught "... *totes* ran out of cream..." and lost it all over! (as I totes am finishing up a homemade Starbucks iced coffee no less) Tim, you are a GEM! If you never do stand up again (and I pray that's not so), you would keep your fans happy with amazing things like this. Blessings to you!
Truly captured the essence of what all of us Starbucks lovers experience. Truly brilliant a masterpiece
Two of my favorites.. Tim and Disturbed. The guy never ceases to amaze!😂
I believe that Simon & Garfunkel actually made the song sounds of silence, Disturbed just did a cover.
@@gairkarohncatarn4527 actually Simon and Garfunkel did a sub par cover of the Disturbed song back in the 70s.
@@gairkarohncatarn4527 You're right, but the video and sound that Tim is spoofing is the Disturbed version.
Hello!, i just came out of the asylum and now am going to starfucks!

Two words my wife can't stand are cray and totes, but when "they totes ran out of cream" she couldn't stop laughing. Loving it Tim, keep up the Lord's Work. Thank you so much.
What do they mean? I get my overpriced Espresso drinks from McDonald's. Nothing like a large, non-fat, hot, Mocha to start my day, but what are a "cray" and "totes"? Tnx!
@@GirlWithAnOpinion Cray or Cray-cray refers to someone acting crazy.
Totes is a shortened form of Totally.

The only thing he forgot was the chin piercing 😂
The chin piercing wanted it's own trailer...

And being able to sing
and the tongue!
Actually David's are not chin piercings. They are in the bottom lip and are simply long enough to arc under his chin.
For anyone who might not understand where the concept of the video came from, look up Disturbed's video for the Sound of Silence.
Actually Sound of Silence was originally done be Simon & Garfunkel back in the dark ages! Late 60's or early 70's. Disturbed just covered.
@@fredallen7493 You are correct, Fred but Dragon was talking about the video itself. The video is based off Disturbed's video of Sound of Silence.
Fred Allen, as mentioned above this video is a direct parody of Disturbed's cover of the song. The tone of the music, the look of the video, and the facial piercings were all poking fun at Disturbed's rendition of the song.
TruestDragon kinda ruins it when someone has to explain it....
@@greenidguy9292 I had only heard of, and looked up, Disturbed doing the cover just last week.
