Thanks for the tip. I just have two questions: 1. Did you notice any performance boosts with the driver update? 2. Did the driver update disable overclocking? I ask only because I distinctly recall Nvidia stating that they were going to disable overclocking ability in their mobile GPUs. As we know the Alienware Alpha has a modified GTX860M.
im new to this PC shit so as far as i know i never updated any drivers unless it did so automatically. my question is, does this improve game performance or what?
Ivan Castiglione On GeForce website when I make the auto check it shows that there is a new Driver 353.06 what should I do ?is it ok to download drivers that way ?
+rhino11us If you have the Alienware Hivemind interface you can go into settings and check for updates there or you can quit to desktop then use the Nvidia Geforce Experience to find drivers.
If you're getting a laggy experience on GTA V try using the Nvidia Geforce experience app and let it optimize GTA V for you. You should see a better overall performance. It worked for me, Also make sure your drivers are up to date using the same app.
