    Pretty solid, especially for the price. Works better as a blender than a food processor, but is generally reliable either way. Not the most powerful machine, but again, especially good for the price. The purchase was a nice surprise.

    I made banana avocado ice cream by accident. Best accident I ever had. Also when I make veggie smoothies it comes out really juicy almost like from a juice machine. Awesome

    I have one, and was making a mixed drink in the large cup. It was perhaps 3/4 full, when I activated the motor (everything was seated just fine), fluid shot up out the gap between the lid and the shaft that holds the blades (easily seen in your video at 00:35 seconds). The fluid then leaked out the top of the lid, and over the snapped down pour lid. If there were a better seal between the blade and the lid, I'd be happy.

      I have a Ninja Storm which is very much like this. I enjoyed using it, but found the liquid splashed up and into the opening in the motor lid. It is difficult to clean as I cannot put water in the lid. Have tried q tips soaked with water, but do not know how effective that is as I cannot see into the opening.

    I absolutely love my NInja Master Prep. I will never buy a McDonald's McCafé Frappé Caramel again becuase you can make the best ones from your Ninja. I make the best salsa and the kids loved the fruit snow icees I made from the crushed snow ice. As far a healthy smoothies, this is hands the best for my green smoothies. Love it. My only thing from the video I see is that I only pulse in increments in order not to burn out the motor.

      Hi Sophie, you can buy a 4 cup Cuisinart which should work if you are looking for something small. Click here to see it: amzn.to/2gsR4ji For more versatility, I would suggest the Cuisinart 7 cup - you get 2 discs to shred and slice. Watch my review of that here:

      Hope that helps you decide on a food processor :)

    Thanks for the review! I have this product for few years already, very happy with that. Because of small kitchen, usually I use that small bowl - works well for crashing veggies for salads (if I want it finely chopped) and I make smoothies in it as well. For one person it is fine.

    Be sure not to run it for more than 15 seconds, then pause 30 seconds. The motor has bushing type non lubricated bearings inside, which heat up when running for too long, which will wear and damage these bearings quickly

    when I should I use the big container and when should I use the small one? thanks!

    • @bestkitchenreviews
      @bestkitchenreviews  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, the large container is best for smoothies and frozen drinks and the small is intended for chopping, dicing and pureeing. Hope that helps! Please subscribe if you haven't already :)

    Overall good video thanks but it's a bit misleading. Or maybe they changed it? The Ninja Master Prep QB1000 comes with 2 containers the 48 and 16 like you listed here, and again thanks for the video. The professional version is about 10 dollars more and comes with a third container, a 40 ounce container.

    Some of the liquid i was blending got into the little nook at the bottom of the motor, and its almost impossible to get it out without submerging the bottom in water or spraying it with water, which they recommend you dont do. But theres no instructions on how to clean it....

      Beverly Walker Hi Beverly, if you want to powder whole spices like cinnamon sticks, cloves, dried chiles etc., it's best to get a small grinder like the Krups for under $20. I've had one that has lasted me many years - here is the link to the Krups grinder amzn.to/1NuNKD0 and my review - th-cam.com/video/vPq2vVvyBmc/w-d-xo.html

    I have had mine for about a year. The plastic blender plastic has gotten really cloudy. How can I remove it do you know? Thanks!

    • @bestkitchenreviews
      @bestkitchenreviews  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      4JeannieSB You could try chopping up a lemon and blending it for about a minute. The citric acid may help with the cloudiness. Another possible solution is to mix a little baking soda with vinegar, wipe on the jar and leave for a few minutes. Rinse off. Hope one of those solutions work :-)

    Only problem I have with it is its kind of all-or-nothing. It's not nearly as good at blending as it is destroying! lol
