Since I've been making protein shakes, I've been through one smoothie blender and a 20+ year-old large blender which leaked. So, off to Walmart, I went, to find a new one. I was ready to get this one, but the shelf was empty, of course! So, I found this video, wanting to see a good review before buying. For the past two days without a blender, I've been making my protein shakes in a bowl, just stirred. Seeing this review, I now see that's a thing! Smoothie bowls! I did not know about this! Very cool! I like that there is both a blending cup and bowl maker cup. I usually make a 24-36 oz protein smoothie. So, the full-size blender will be useful for larger quantities. At Walmart the blenders sucked except the Ninjas. The control panel on this is superior to most blenders. Most have hard-to-press, weak, or oddly positioned buttons. I really like the turn knob. I'm looking forward to the possibilities. I see this as a way to continually support health. I'm down to 164 lbs. from 234! Not quitting now! -- I'm sure I'll make margaritas in it too, though. lol! :-) I'll purchase from your affiliate link. Looks like there are only two left at the moment!

Watch out for the blades they are extremely sharp. I cut deep into my thumb trying to get the plastic packaging off the triple blade. Then I barely touched the food processing attachment and got another small cut. Great engineering so be very careful handling the blades and food processing attachments.

I wholeheartedly agree. I cut myself on the blade. I didn’t get one with a food processor. Just a 72 oz pitcher and 2 24 ox cups. Works great but they don’t tell you in the instructions that the Extractor function only works with the 24 oz cups so I went to take ingredients out and sliced my finger. Other than that I love it so far. But heed the warning. Very sharp blades. I was foolish!

Thank you so much for this review! I really appreciate the cleaning demo. I have a disabled family member I have to puree meals for. Its been a challenge to find any reviews that demo pureeing full meals, like chicken fettucini alfredo or shepherds pie. Id really love to know how well something like cooked ground meat could be pureed when combined with mashed potatoes and some liquid like milk to help puree. She really needs her food smooth like baby food and tends to choke on any ground meat that isnt fully pureed. It would be a bummer to get this and find out it fully puree cooked meals.

    Make better noise isolation.
Get rid of the rubber gasket in the blade part that comes in contact with the cup for less gunk ( a problem of all cup blenders in the marke).
Build Quality of Ninja Blender is much better then Nutribullet and though noisy the Ninja Blenders are less Noisy then nutribullet and hay higher Watt then Nutribullet .

As I said in the video, it’s not fair to compare this Ninja to a Vitamix since the Vitamix costs double. A Vitamix will break down berries/kale so they’re smooth, that’s why you’re paying more 😀

When my Vitamix died, I replaced with this. I actually like this better.
