After my talk to the Young Farmer’s Club last week I was asked who in the world, living or dead, I would like to have dinner with. I said Elon Musk, because courage and purpose gets him out of bed every morning. He also has empathy for his critics. Very relatable for anyone running a business that takes a new path. I have always felt this way. I started listening to Musk back in the day. I never slept. My mind never shuts off. I invent ideas all day. My body cannot keep up with my mind. It’s very stressful to understand and see things most people don’t. It’s like I am always buzzing on a different wavelength. Sometimes I meet people like myself and we can talk about science, philanthropy, technology, and think tank how to genuinely make the world a better place. It is interwoven in a person. If I am not on track to do this with tenacity- I feel lost. I know almost nothing and can’t stop taking in interest and inspiration from others who have the courage to stand in the light and show us the way. The current failure rate of humanity makes me cry 😢 “It’s not who I am underneath but what I do that defines me”

I have so much respect for Elon. He was not handed his wealth, he EARNED it. This shows us that such success, no matter how you define success is within reach of us all. Yet he is amazingly modest. He truthfully talks about the tough times he has faced. He risked it all and he succeeded. This is inspiration for us all, no matter what goal we are chasing.

I need a platform to spread my comment all over. I need replies, I want to know the truth. Who is leading our earth? Who are the humans and do they have the mental health capacity to uplift our world or to cause it more harm because of money and gluttony.
As a 16 year old looking for the path I'm going to take in the next few years, this was very insightful and inspiring. I liked when he mentioned that he treats his company almost like it is his child. I find that statement incredible. Working countless hours is not something I think I would want to do, but I think I may find more joy in that than anything else.

after watching this, what i learn from his speech is to have a strong mind if you want to take your chance to be as successful as him. the strong mind to believe enough for you to take actions and the strong mind to endure the pressure of failure constantly. i believe not many people could handle this or even if they do, they can't constantly be consistent in doing it for a long time just like high concentration. this is the difference between successful business man and ordinary employees. many people know about high risks high return but only a few could actually practice it. i think if people didn't watch his sharing, they will only be able to see his glorious side on how successful he is and never know what he has been through to attain his success. i certainly know my place and not dare to say i learn much from him even he reveals all his secrets because if what he did is so easily imitated, there would be plenty of elon musk in this planet. i personally respect him.
