Honestly, hands down, this has completely shifted my perspective of Rishi. I get the notion he genuinely is conscious of the UK's future, this is definatly a pivotal moment for him. 10/10 for whoever suggested this and made it happen.

So refreshing to see a leader of a Western nation engage in such a complicated tech discussion through simply terminology that a lay person is also able to absorb the gist of it - I particularly liked his acknowledgment as a policy maker of concerns of parents who worry about their children's career future and how there may be a future very soon with the oncoming AI where a person has no drive to work, no purpose to achieve anymore. A well-rounded politician who is looking ahead with a realistic lens. I hope he has set in stone the discussion around AI safety and its boundaries in ensuring that creative industry won't suffer, tech jobs won't be lost and automated services don't just take over our day-to-day lives that we end up having to lose basic emotions and values!

Rishi Sunak clearly has a good grasp of the tech industry along with both the threats and opportunities posed by AI. He came across incredibly well and like others have said, seeing how our political leaders perform in different roles gives us a much broader insight into who they are and the skills they possess. I just pray that neither Sunak nor Musk doesn't get tempted to do 'I'm a celebrity.' Let's leave that one to the likes of Hancock and Farage ;-) !!

But I never learned anything through teachers. All I did was return home, open the books, and read it myself.

A great question to ask Elon is something like this - “with AI you can ask them anything but as he mentioned on JRE, some topics are politically motivated. What’s the regulation on who moderates the discussion. He bought X for exactly that reason, unadulterated discourse. So who moderates the large language models for freedom of speech and also public safety (eg asking how to make improvised explosives etc))
