Thanks for posting, as I am in the same situation as you were. Will be picking up my "new" 2015 3.8 AWD Genesis this week. Like you, found little literature on the snow mode and driver responses. Just don't snow while I'm driving the vehicle 80 miles home. 😁
I think you've made a good decision. I bought my "new" 2015 3.8 RWD (I'm in Texas) a couple of months ago and am very pleased with it. Plus, for the price I paid for mine (about $24K out the door with all accessory packages and 39K miles) I think this might be as good a bargain as one can get on a really, really nice car. I hope you enjoy yours.
I’m thinking trading my truck in for one of these I work for my highway department in nj we don’t get crazy snow but still some for fresh snow on the ground is it a good / safe car
Any updates after going through the winter? I'm in Portland but get up to mount hood a lot during winter/spring and was looking at a 2015 Genesis 3.8 AWD like you have. Looks like acceleration and braking are pretty safe in the snow but I'd be interested in any more info you might have.
I ended up buying some Nokian studless snow tires, and that was a pretty big game changer. The car does really good in the snow. We got about 2 feet of snow in march, and she did excellent. I would recommend it for snow driving conditions. There are some issues with the panoramic sunroofs apparently, Mine has had a pretty bad squeak that hasn’t been fixed so watch for that. Other than that, its an awesome car!
Let's see to Equus snow proforments.

Hey Travis, can you have fun with the car, like remove temporary all the safety features and drift it sideways?

Thanks for the update! Glad it's working so well (minus sunroof squeaks).
Travis Riddle did you ever get that rattle in the sunroof fixed?
Thanks for this,I'm thinking of trading my Audi A5 for a Genesis
Definitely a better value and more reliable
