I'll just come right out and say it: That is a damn good monster costume. Oh it's not believable or scary, but it's weird and creative and looks pretty decently put together. I could easily see this thingy getting kicked to smithereens by a Kamen Rider of some description. Heck, it's even got that whole "two unrelated creatures awkwardly fused together" vibe so many mutant-making evil organizations seem to be so fond of.
It only figures he looks like a Rider monster considering Toei (supposedly) had involvement in the movie's production.

Hell yea! There’s something about this creature that just makes me feel giddy 😄 interesting concept and the look of it draws me in with its dead hollow eyes, would get good marks on Face Off 👹
Broadway should seriously consider producing "Revenge of Dr. X: The Musical".

The credits on all available copies of the movie are actually wrong; it lists a crew who worked on the other half of the double feature this film was paired with, but no one who actually worked on Doctor X.
The screenplay was written by none other than ED WOOD!

So is this a sequel, prequel, or spin-off of Blood Waters of Dr. Z? Cuz you know it should be.
I think Dr. Z was the sequel. Dr. X is the sequel to The Unholy Evilness of Dr. V, which was the sequel to The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T.
Firstname Lastname all I can think is Dr. Y, as in "why were these movies made?" And then I remember MST3K/Cinematic Titanic/Rifftrax/ICWXP exist because of terrible movies and I am ok with it :)
