- Here we go through the setup of the Xbox One S. When you initially get the console started there will be an update of about 1 GB to download and install. It takes about 15-20 minutes depending on your internet connection. Since there is no Kinect this go around, there are less initial setup menus. Once you are in you will need to do a controller updated to the Xbox One S controller. After that, you should be good to go. Overall time is about 25 - 30 minutes to get things going.

The controller usually doesn't have update unless you connect an accessory to it, such as a chatpad or stereo headset adapter.
Getting this in 23 days (Christmas), and new Minecraft update which is 11 days (December 13th), or 18 days (December 20th.) YAY. SO EXCITED!!! :DDD

Ok, I need your help, if you can assist me. My xbox is at the, It's time to update screen, saying getting ready, loading, with 6 white bars across the top. It's been here for almost an hour, and I'm trying to switch my network to update from. How do I go about changing my internet connection so I can finish my update? My xbox has already prompted me to enter in my country and it started updating. It was at about 20, 22%, and when I returned to my screen, the xbox had shut off. Um, my Xbox 1 S has a 1202 MB update. It took 2 hours to get to 20% then it shut off automatically and when I turned it back on, it restarted the Update. Super pissed.

The Xbox One S also has an HDTV calibration tool in the settings. I strongly recommend using it, so you can get the absolute best picture quality out the Xbox One.

OK so I don’t care how many times a tabby a button it’s not working like it’s not doing anything the controller is summed up to the Xbox and it’s all plugged in fine but all it shows is that the Xbox one loading screen press in the apron does not do anything it’s been like this for like a good half hour and I doing something wrong

I just got an xbox one s today, and its basically not letting me get passed the network part of the set up. I select my right network and put the right password in, and anytime i hit enter it will say connecting, but then the console will just restart and have to start from the beginning. it keeps doing this. does anyone know how to fix this?
