❤❤❤SEVERAL alternative companies will APPEAR, especially in California, due to the POOR leadership at Uber and Lyft! The take rates are RIDICULOUS in San Diego, California!!!
lets see how this company treats drivers. They need to be in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia. ASAP because uber and lyft is treating drivers like Slaves.
I am in Orange County and they singed me up, went through the process, waiting for final activation. I also loaded the rider app and tested from Garden Grove to John Wayne airport and it offered me a ride.
Please, come to the east coast. Especially since there is not a non competitive clause in employment contracts anymore. What if former Lyft and Uber programmers collaborated to develop an application.
This is exactly the Wridz model. Subscription for the driver. These 2 companies should just team up instead of fragmenting the market. Wridz has a big head start.
Love it. You say only in Bay Area? What about LA plans to come here I already signed up lol. Tired of Uber taking 50% of fare. They’re riders come in offering cash to save money 🤣🤣
Every single state should get their CEO sign and Make it a law or something. That this company will be fair to drivers and dont turn like Uber and Lyft after 5-7 years. Thats it.
I applied a few weeks ago, and everything is fine, but there no customer, yet the app is not there yet has issues, which is fine im in san jose there is no ride yet
So many new Rideshare coming online , YRide & Hum are both already better for drivers !! Hum is 100% to the driver after a small monthly subscription fee !
I was running HUM all weekend in Phoenix. My next video will show what I made versus what I feel Uber/Lyft would've charged me. BIG DIFFERENCE, trust me! Glad we got someone like YRide coming out and being another tool in the toolbox!
Tried to sign-up today and already hit some roadblocks. I have to setup a yardstik profile. Couldn’t upload a “Nationality ID” picture. I wasn’t even sure if that’s the same as a Driver’s License/State ID. Couldn’t connect my bank account via Stripe because I have to complete a “Stripe Onboarding” first. Signing-up isn’t as easy or straightforward as Lyft and Uber. The process just isn’t streamlined. Everything should be done in-app. I’m also not sure what to think about to pay-to-play/subscription model. First 3 months is free(a $99 value). I don’t like that they require drivers to get their cars professionally deep-cleaned regularly. I can do that myself and I do a real good job at it. It also means more costs and downtime to schedule your car to get detailed. Base fares are good compared to Lyft and Uber. But no surge-pricing. I’d really like to try them out, but they already have issues for me. They need to make signing-up more simple so the drivers could come.
I mean, you can either pay them $33/month, or the other Apps $4,000/month. I prefer the lesser amount. You can professionally clean your car yourself. Just write yourself a bill from "your cleaning business." 😁 The onboarding process may need some work. Considering they're brand new, they probably still got some kinks to work out. The other Apps have been in business for well over a decade and they still screw up stuff and take advantage of drivers.
📣📢🔈🔊 guys!! uber got lawsuit in UK and Australia, sooner bankruptcy so this company was made by Uber, it's the same company, they just wanna play games with us, There are scaming us again and again. I don't even trust Ride share guys any more.
That logo 🤦♀️ please someone tell them what it looks like before they get really popular. As for competition, yes please 🙏🏻 we need all the apps possible to give Uber and Lyft something to think about.
In order for any company to compete with Uber they need a unique business model. This model is the same. They want to build one urban market at a time but have no customers and no compelling reason for a customer to choose them over Uber. They also don’t have the $17 billion in venture capital Uber used to build the market and the brand. I hope for them the best but I don’t know.
What’s wrong with the world today?? I see people already complaining in the comments, guys there’s no perfect world, all we need is more competition and options for drivers and riders otherwise the world has never been and will never be fair.
@@YRide-Technologies I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been trying to sign up. I have tried six times now to do my email verification and the app keeps glitching. This is not a good start
I'm in the Bay Area but I don't trust someone who doesn't take any commission. I think you need to take some!!!!!!!!!!! BUT not 50% to 75% like Uber/Lyft!! If Uber gave a driver roughly 30% of what we're getting now, it would be ideal. Lyft needs to be more serious. It's not worth doing Lyft in a busy area where there are better options like Uber or other gig apps. Lyft is for those with no other option!
@@YRide-Technologies may that grow to continue to be true. Having new options for rideshare could be refreshing. I will be following the company from now on.
So let me get this straight, you don’t believe Wridz pays us 100% of the fare? I drive for them here in Austin and we absolutely get 100% of the fare. The rider pays for the insurance and external fees which is VERY inexpensive. I have been driving for Wridz for a little over two years now. Wridz interviews their drivers in person. Sounds to me like anyone can get on the Y-Rides platform just like with Uber and Lyft.
@@YRide-Technologies well THE MOMENT you have it available for me in the Kansas City metropolitan area, I have already filed out my starting info so y'all can notify me. I would like to go through and be the first person to become active out here and offer trips to compete against the crooks of Uber and Lyft
For a company to succeed and compete, they have to have shareholders pitch in lots and lots of capital to be able to absorb losses in the first 3 to 4 years while expanding which means, by the 5th year, drivers pay will be cut to be able to start making a profit and return profits to early shareholders so in the end, same business model because ridesharing is not sustainable to be accesible to passengers cheaper, profitable to drivers and profitable to company, you cant have all 3 at the same time
So why has Wridz been around for over two years with 2 owners? I have been driving for them since day one. I was the fifth driver who was on boarded here in Austin
Well it's refreshing that you guys might actually start talking about other ethical rideshare companies as opposed to constantly talking about all of the things that Uber and Lyft unjustly do to drivers. So actually looking for solutions as opposed to continuing to beat those two dead horses.
This app is TRASH! It’s DOA! No drivers, No riders, No Supprot, Abandoned nonfunctional app. I’m so disappointed. especially after the long, repetitive, tedious sign up process. What a waste of time. They have all my personal information now though. Did I just get scammed?
I wish you guys have stopped talking over each other and if you do talk over each other start at the beginning let the other guy finish and then let him say I’m done and then the next person can talk and then you say you’re done you guys over talk to each other a lot and I don’t even know what you’re saying when you do that
Y don’t they pay their own insurance why do I have to pay my insurance and theirs? Sergio is a driver why do you think it’s ok for drivers to pay a company’s insurance? That’s why we can’t make money, that’s the price of doing business, right. WTF I have to pay two insurances and they pay none gtfoh 🤡
