100%. A Speedmaster is THE watch I want to own one day. It's also IMO still the best looking watch ever made. (shame the prices are starting to get a little wild on them!)

This trip into luxury Chronograph is a pure dream . A each step, i was surprised by the new iconic chronos you can show us. Of course when we pass the 10 K$ the quality increases but i found agood reason to love each of them from 3 K$ to 15 K$ they are all great.

I have always felt the Tag Heur Monaco was a classic chronograph yet the square seemed a bit too odd for today’s sensibilities, but changed my mind after watching Jacob Elordie wearing it on his Vogue interview on TH-cam, I think it really is versatile watch and a head turner!

Thx for mentioning the JLC- I have the black dial version with a brown leather strap. It is elegant and understated. Out of the selection presented, I would go for the Zenith Chrononaster Original. If I stretch the budget, it would be the Breguet Type XXI 3817ST (steel version) that currently retails for US$17,800 but can be had for 30%-40% less from the secondary market. Flyback chronograph with a central chronograph minutes hand - now, that's rare. Plus, it has links to the French government's spec from 1950s known as the iconic Type 20 of which Breguet was one of the major producers.

I have a Speedmaster and really like it. Last year I purchased the Sinn 103 Classic 12, it is my favorite watch at the moment. It’s a pretty thick watch but is surprising comfortable to wear. The movement is not in-house but the extra work and registration that Sinn puts into pays off. The construction is terrific.

The Zenith - the 10th second register is super useful for people like me who watch their daughters competitive swimming!! I’d love that and want it… more convenient than the iPhone even!
On IWC - the Portuguese is lovely, but I’m shocked at how little the Pilot 41mm Chronograph gets mentioned. It’s way tougher than a Speedy and better form factor than the Tudor or Breitling and it has the spectacular green dial option or the deep blue dial that is beautiful.

Personal opinion of course, but my two are the Speedmaster the Navitimer. I love flight watches, and these are legends. There is something about them and drives me wild. I love the Zenith as well, but I wore the 38 mm and was a bit underwhelmed, and the price keeps me away from the Sport. I also have questions about the long-term aspect of the 3600 movement.
Also, it's funny. The Daytona was a grail for me for so long. No longer. I just lost interest and the design doesn't really speak to me these days. I think the Zenith looks better honestly. Less dial text. More interesting subdials.

Is Breitling Premier B01 the most overlooked model? It shares the same movement as Tudor, and while the retail is more expensive, you can actually find one cheaper than what Tudor is going for now. Breitling is 1mm thinner, has better finishing and heritage. I'm not sure why Tudor gets all the fuss and Premier doesn't get a mention.

Great list, Speedy Pro is definitely my favourite. That said, am I the only one that considers the Hesalite model overrated? Considering the history, I'm glad Omega offers it, but I can't help but feel the Sapphire model is the better choice for most people; not only for the extra scratch resistance, but also because it has probably the prettiest display caseback under $15K.

With the sapphire model Omega should also have used a ceramic bezel.

@@MasterChief37 100% agree. It wouldn't be the first time either.

If that Zenith had a better executed date window (or none at all), it would be unbeatable.

I think this video could've started with the Speedy. Longines and FC are department store watches.

JLC master calendar chronograph for me. Unless I get a big disocunt on a Vacheron.

Wish I was a chrono guy, just doesn't really fit my lifestyle. Divers either. Nice piece, as always. Cheers.

Fantastic video, Teddy! Maybe this can turn into a mini series looking at different brands for their best diver, pilot, GMT, dress, calendar, moon phase, etc.
