While Ticker's story is obviously the most emotional of the bunch, there is something else we need to look at. Business. He is still mysterious, but he acts in a way that reminds me of the Quills. Cause and effect, sacrificing something to enable something good to happen. The patterns. And on top of that he is the one who taught Little Duck. That all seems oddly convenient.
He did know, he engineered it to force Eudico's hand. from Biz fragments, "One example: a young man is repoed, and Eudico resurrects the resistance. [... ] A small price to pay. A young man's body. An old man's soul." this is corroborated in Legs's fragments, "Mister The Business has been really good to me since... since my accident. [...] I tell him he doesn't have to, but he says to me "In revolution, it is the weakest who sacrifice the most. You've done your part, that I might do mine." He's trying to atone; he threw Legs's body into the gears of the Corpus machine, for his blood to gum it up. Harsh math, without question; the accuracy of the sum... remains to be seen.

The quills, and Onko, truly serve something greater than themselves. Biz serves his own vision, and sees the damage he does to his foes, as well as his friends... as necessary. Conserving animals, yet altering human ecosystems with violence and planned deletion. Biz is a villain waiting to come into his own, waiting to reshape the ecosystem in his ideal image.
@@mrhappyface4181 I don't think biz is or will become a villain. I think he's alot deeper than that. He's seems to be a man who's lost ,who's had to make impossible choices, who's made mistakes and made the hard choices in the name of freedom and justice and now he was to live with it. He sees conservation as his chance at redemption for his sins. Biz is broken not evil.
I had to take a moment when I realized that Business _wanted_ what happened to Thursby. He feels bad about what happened, but he also seems to imply, in his final message and in one of Legs' messages, that he either acted to cause it, or chose not to act to stop it, and holds himself responsible. He believed that it would galvanize Eudico to take up the mantle of Vox Solaris once again, which it did, but his actions are still pretty...interesting.

There is much philosophical references from these folks. If I get some of these info wrong, feel free to correct. Also contains some spoilers. - It sounds as if most, if not all of the Solaris, have engaged in or in the process of engaging in a teleological suspension of the ethical(Kierkegaard made that phrase, I believe) of some sort; Smokefinger seems to be implied to have been a Corpus and put the ethics of the Corpus doctrine on hold for an end result that is good(in his opinion), while Little Duck implies that The Business might've contributed to the deaths in Deck 12(sealing off the escape routes) for a greater result(sealing off routes = sealing off route that fire can use to spread). And next to that, the possibility of The Biz having a hand with the whole Legs thing. - Every Solaris seems to have been influenced by Descartes' idea of the mind/body dualism, but Ticker's character seem to have the most intense form; Ticker references herself, or a part of herself as "you;" as if it were a separate entity. This is further intensified by Ticker's story; Ticker is implied to have a significant other who was brain-shelved. Ticker then sold her various body parts to buy her significant other's head and have it installed within her(signified with the quote "I sold my lungs; my bones; my heart, to buy a safe place to cradle your head," which are all located in, surprise, the torso). From there on, Ticker believes that "he" does not remember anything. This is where Descartes' philosophy chimes in with an annoying knell of bells; Ticker's original mind still remains, though in a completely different body, intensified by the addition of someone else's head(and possibly mind) into her torso. Next to that, Ticker references herself, or a part of herself as "you;" as if it were a separate entity and Ticker also mentions some stuff about "You stood there in your body and I stood here in mine," which only further exemplifies Descartes' mind/body dualism. A person(irl) could say "my body can't do that" is a prime example of this thinking- the person is referring to their body as a separate thing- as if it were owned by the person, or more likely, their mind. Note: I'm referring Ticker as "She" because that is what "she" refers "herself" as, as well as lore-wise, the male voice could be explained by the male head- all the interactable Solaris have voices that are emitted from their heads. Ticker is a gal, but her head is not her real head; it is someone else's. - Chatter is implied to question Zudd whether she is dreaming or not- and whether reality is real or not. This has some ties with Descartes' argument of "The Omnipotent/evil Demon/God/Genius." Locke's idea of "indirect realism" and "direct realism" appear to have some semblance here as well. -(This is going to be a bit more about the lore and less about philosophy, and may not make sense) The Unum is Buddha; Zudd is Buddha; the infested are both Unum and Zudd; The Quills worship Zudd; Excalibur Umbra is a tiny Unum; Zudd is a sentient; The Lotus is a symbol of Buddhism; Therefore, The Unum, Zudd, and the Infested are sentients and the Quills worship sentients while the Lotus is a flower; The whole game is Buddhism. Hear me out on this one: Nirvana(not the band) from Buddhism is a sort of an omniscience. Quill Onkko Primary mentions something along the lines of "We are each one a myriad that is the viewpoint that comprises the Unum." In that sense, Onkko is saying that "we(likely the Quills as a whole) are the Unum," or that "We can share our consciousness with the Unum." From the recordings(hover your cursor over the area with the most static sounds) from glass fragments in Saya's Vigil, Quill Onkko Primary tells us the story of how Gara killed the giant Sentient- but he also mentions how the Unum instructed her followers to feed the animals of the plains her blood; her "temple kuva," so that she may see through their eyes and feel throught their consciousness. From the same fragments, we learn that the Unum tower is biologically alive- Ostrons are directed(by the Unum) to carve out parts of her body to eat and sell. Now, when we get close to the two Ostrons carving the Unum meat, what do we see? Meat(of course). Now, the Unum tower has existed since the Orokin era, and from my understanding, the Orokin did not always use the infestation as a weapon. The infestation may be used to build things- or more likely, "grow" buildings. We learn from the Sacrifice quest that Excalibur Umbra was infected with Helminth, a sort of a docile form of the infestation that does not try to murderize and convert everything. Before we learned of Umbra's origin, however, we see Umbra's face break open and regenerate right after- I daresay that how the Unum regenerates her meat is similar to how Umbra regenerates his face. We could see much more buildings that are "grown" in Orb Vallis- inside of the hollow broken coolant tower, we see "meat" that coincides with the meat of the Unum; the same might be of other coolant towers and structures. Going off on a slight tangent, the Infested refer to themselves as "we," like any sort of space-zombie would. The Helminth in your orbiter calls itself "We," yet we don't see anything that looks like multiple infested- just a few blobs connected to each other with what appears to be sinew along with a few "claw-shaped stuff" on a chair. From this, we could maybe get an idea that the helminth is not a single entity, but many. Many entities equals many consciousnesses. The many consciousnesses of the infested seem to have some sort of connection- perhaps its phermones or spores or whatnot, but the bottom line is, an in-game quote from the Lotus during a quest where you defend a bomb from the infested pretty much confirms my hypothesis that the infested are all and one, sharing multiple consciousnesses...just like the Unum. Which further reinforces the idea that the Unum is infested, but tamed. And who else has the ability to see through multiple consciousnesses? Zudd. Lore-wise, she and her sisters were "created" as one. Now, the only beings in the world of Warframe that I can think of that could be created as one and have siblings are the Sentients. Sentient reproduction appears to be "a larger sentient converts its limbs into smaller sentients," or "abusing the power of exilus or forma and whatnot to grow offspring from itself." Hunhow, sentient destroyer of worlds calls some of his troops "children." The giant sentient that attacked the Unum tower could see itself producing offspring by merging with the tower. However, upon creating offspring/children, it would appear as if the sentients share a sort of a conscious connection with their "parents." The Archimedian who created the robots to terraform the Tau system mentions something about how the machines could produce more of themselves. Boom- there we have it- Zudd's story is not unlike that of a sentient's life. Then, we have space-mom. Space-mom's name is Natah, but she wants to be called "Lotus."The Lotus flower and word has dealings in Buddhism and Eastern philosophy. Space-mom is also a sentient. Sentients share consciousness. Unum, Zudd, and Infested share consciousness. Sharing consciousness can be interpreted as omniscience. Omniscience has relations to Nirvanna(not the band). Nirvanna(not the band) is related to Buddhism. Buddhism is everywhere in this game. - The QUILLS. They are walking philosophy. Synthesizing all of my experiences with them, I can confidently say that the Quills are pretty much Lao-Tzu's philosophy of "The Dao" in human form. For those of you who don't know, "The Dao" means "The Way; The path." The Dao is ever-changing, so it'd be impossible to describe it to someone who wants to walk the Dao. However, being unable to describe the Dao does not necessarily mean that one cannot force another into the Dao. This is what the Quills are great at- they don't force things to happen, they "push/pull gently" to allow things to happen. The Quill from Saya's Vigil that got captured? He got captured on purpose to start the whole plot. The Quill who got ambushed by the Corpus? He let himself get ambushed for a reason. From the way that Quill Onkko Primary talks about the Unum, it would appear as if the Unum is "The Way/The Dao" for the Quills. The bridge from Cetus to the Unum's Tower may be a symbol of this- I'm beginning to develop believe that once we get farther in with the lore and stuff, we could walk the bridge and interact with the Unum. - (Getting slightly off-topic here) In a sense, the Warframes themselves are Nietzsche's Ubermensch. They don't adhere to the normal rules and laws. Things work the way they want it to work; Excaliber can pull out a sword from hammerspace, Chroma and Rhino can somehow inexplicably make a weapon more deadly just by yelling, Titania can magically compress herself to the size of a plastic bottle(without any ill-effects), and Limbo... he's a walking anomaly, perhaps even by standards of that era. And thats just to name a few. Of course, we could use "The Void" as an excuse for how all the logic and science can be bypassed, but still.
Finally someone who actually understand Ticker's character as more of a Ghost in the Machine exploration instead of just the shallow, "oh she's just trans (for or against)" reaction. It even plays further into Fortuna's heavy cyberpunk vibe.
I tink Ticker's SO got a new rig because later on she said that the SO works on the canals. Unable to recognise her, she moved on to fulfill her previous commitment of freeing debt bonds.
@@arielpradipta4616 Huh, never got that part. Nice catch. That may very well be. I gave that part a listen and a few more tries at interpretation and here's what else I came up with: - Ticker and So's head live in the same rig, but Ticker is in charge. It would appear as if the SO is the speaker while Ticker is the conscious. Both would make a sort of a passing remark about how both are not the same being . - Ticker is stationed "at" the canals; "He" doesn't necessarily have to work with the coolant, "they" just have to be close enough to the coolant canal to "work the canal." In a sense, Ticker works the canals and does debt-bonds. Since it is the SO's head in Ticker's rig, the SO is doing the work. However, as Ticker's consciousness is in control, Ticker is the one making promises. - The SO takes control of the rig half of the cycle while Ticker takes control of the rig the other half. Something else I've noticed is how Ticker's cerebellum is much larger than anyone else's. Perhaps Ticker sold all of her head minus her brain and kept her brain in her "head" while her SO's head went into her rig.
@@nukeynukleer4613 ooowhh.. The first part is definitely agreeable especially because if you visit ticker in Fortuna, she has this dialogue to us that goes along the line of "my body is not my body anymore and at one point I realize what's important is what's behind the eyes. Keep it beautiful stardust". So possibly she and So got mixed along the sharing times they had due to Ticker trying to save SO.
I Guess this is the main issue. No matter what we do we never hit the finances of nef, just the ones of random corpus guys that invested. We are essentially stealing money from them then giving it to the Solaris so they can pay of their depts, wich goes into nef's pockets

I gave that part a listen and a few more tries at interpretation and here's what else I came up with:
- Ticker and So's head live in the same rig, but Ticker is in charge.
Dear lord. Please make this a topic in forums so i can both upvote and save it for future reference.
Ok...lets make the corpus lost a huge sum of money by robbing the index.
And then give the money to the solaris.
So then they can pay the debts off to the Corpus. The cycle of Grofit..
Well, when i first heard of the heists, that is exactly what i thought they would be. But I'm disappointed that it didn't
I Guess this is the main issue. No matter what we do we never hit the finances of nef, just the ones of random corpus guys that invested. We are essentially stealing money from them then giving it to the Solaris so they can pay of their depts, wich goes into nef's pockets
maybe best kill all corpus?
To me it sounds like Biz the business did something to allow thursby/legs to get repoed.
Idk if id say that. I think its cause he wanted to make sure nef doesn't hurt people anymore ans it blew up in his face. At the same time i could think that because he was trying to crack Eudico to revive SU
Biz said "a young man's body, an old man's soul" why would he feel guilty for anything, not to mention that little duck makes several references to the personality of biz, giving an example of him sealing of deck 12 and sacrificing some of his own comerades so that only a few could escape.
@@dakotadean865 Quite a sharp observation... Indeed, I too thought of that possibility. As well as him being something akin of an associate, one of the first, of Nef Anyo. He mentions in the trailer that long time ago, he would have dealt with Nef immediately.
"And I'm in the business of keeping promises. "
I feel bad for ticker. Big sad.
So Little Duck has a mum called Duck. Biz possibly had a hand in Thursby getting repoed. Thursby wanted to be a ventkid. Smokefinger knew Venari. Zudd has PTSD and possibly schizophrenia. Eudico and Ticker are crushed by the grief of the past. Well DE, gotta hand it to ya. Gimme more
Ticker's story is the most depressing thing I have heard in a long time...
if there was a cinematic cene for all this, damn that wouldve been great
I know the amount of scaring they are in cuz I lived it too losing someone while you stay alive and you cant do nothing about it
The symbolism about the man sinking away into the sea... reminds of miir sa
god damn these fragments are sooo good
i also figured it out segor became an animal lover when venari came back from the dead biz respects any animal that can claw its way back from death
coincidence I THINK NOT
zeonthefox thought the same thing but he doesn't sound like him and the voice don't match face
zeonthefox but it doesn't sound like segor savah his voice
Segor savah is dead
TICKER OH MY GOD WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY SOMEONE HUG HIM
Cyborg David Bowie sure is a sad boi.
Give him all your available credits, resources and hugs. :'(
I thought ticker was a female who took her dead lovers head as her own
or something
What if he has deathly germs which kill tenno and warframes :l
@@codeeightyeight586 y'all really do come up with anything to avoid recognising trans characters huh
Zuud developed a split personality to partition the trauma of deck 12
Like, shit man. Every corpus i kill with my catchmoon is for you Zuud
I like to believe biz is a quill, cause he seems to know a whole lot of mucking things before they happen.
The Business set Thursby up for repossession. Thats how Nef knew
Those lore fragments are kinda great. Farmed three hours for them and I don't regret shit.
Quill Prattu - Peter Quill (Starlord from Marvel) played by Chris Pratt. Coincidence? I think not!
Knowing DE its prolly an easteregg
Shit. Didn't know these existed
These fragments came out recently
Someone has already made a crude map of where the fragments are. Apparently when you get close they show up on the minimap. I would recommend taking a helios to make it easier

Well vanari specifically
@@Kamexe Yeah, fair enough
Can we just hug these people and tell them it's going to be okay? *Damn*
The mining guy talks about... Venari??? WTF??? ':/
the miner was a friend to the guy who free Venari from a fossil, then manage to smuggle it out of corpus hand.
Venari is a operator focus I think
+Alexei Stub Nope. It's the kavat that's part od Khora :)

Yeah, tickers tale is quite something
I'm going to tax the Corpus. I'm going to tax them transportation, transaction, savings gain, income, property, and everything else I can think of. I'm thinking 100% seems reasonable, for a start.
Abel Babel Then there would be more indebted people in the Corpus meaning more Solaris United inmates hence more money needed to pay them. What a vicious cycle.
@@justamuart The only solution is Corpus bankruptcy.
TAX THE TAXMEN!!!
Finally! Glad to see someone covering it.
Oof eudicos story really touches the orokin reactor strings
correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the artist for the characters Keith Thomson? I really like his art style. check out his work on the leviathan series books.

Fucking ticker really hurt my heart. He deserves better. They all do. #JusticeforSolaris
This is is some fucking heavy lore , can't believe a kavat and some schizophrenic robots have more lore than some AAA games.
I suddenly want to see a spin-off game featuring Little Duck
Wait, did Biz fucking rat on Thursby to spark up Eudico to fight? Wow dude, what the fuck?
I want the corpus guy to see khora

Is there a full map for finding the fragments? I want to grab these as soon as possible!

Will we ever be able to play the game in the shoes of people in these clonies as oppose to playing as the Warframe you play as a grineer or corpus or the people of fortuna
Who says I cant be a spider in a big web of subterfuge?
Hmm legs rhymes and the profit-taker rhymes, profit-taker is big ol robo spider, coincidence?
The Real Folk Blues
I didn’t know it has fragments to collect
what happened to the giant falling icebergs?!?!?!
How did you get this audios? if I'm not wrong it's done by decrypting the audios that play when you open the codex entries, but how do u decrypt that?

Location video for the fragments?
Do you get something for scanning all of them?
Famelhaut sweet sweet lore

Kinda wish DE started giving us rewards for finding all the lore. Even if it's a cosmetic item
@@HowlingDoom Or something like the Fallout Perk system... Still; the lore they upload in the fragments, like Cephalon's or Glass fishes, are so sublime... Incredibly powerful... Giving something back to most of the players...

You just have to scan nearly everything in Fortuna
Wait is biz Udi's dad?!
Biz was a jenkid (or whatever you call the hover dudes) not a dad . he is still a teen dude guy.

why you think so? have i missed something?>

Somachord fragments appear randomly so there is no map

Actually... i. Didnt think about that first time i listened to this... but actually it's super plausible.
If you were to be live with one of the SU members, who would you live with? Doesn’t matter if the situation is platonic or sexual. For me, I’d probably want to live with Biz. A man that sought to try and fix what had been done to those he knew. Like another space uncle of the Sol System.
when do these play?

you have to find the fragments in the orb valis and scan them then read them in the codex
