From the way I understood it, the Entrati didn't just research the Void on behalf of the Orokin empire, they were also probably the ones who discovered it in the first place (Steve insisted on using the term "created the void" when talking about them, hinting that it was one of their invensions that revealed the void for the first time.)
Is it possible that they physically created it in some kind of accident on deimos and because it exists infinitely in both directions it has "always been there"? Its far fetched but it would make sense as the "creators of the void"

I think the big mirror we saw was the first time anyone saw the void, but the creation of the void portals was how they actually got there, probably somehow connected to the cosmic clock so nobody completely loses track of reality when going in and out and becomes corrupted. I'd say that the entrati made the void portals and that they most likely have a secret connection with the man in the wall, due to him haunting everyone involved in finding the void while they dream. My guess is that the man in the wall gave the orokin/tenno their powers and immortality in exchange for complete control over the empire.
It also occurred to me that we may now know what kuva is exactly, in the Hydroid Prime trailer (finally), Ballas says "Our immortal vines have kept us distant from out baser selves, but consider our subjects". To me it suggests that the fear of death is no longer a concern for the Orokin, cause Kuva, and that is directly because of the vines. The Arboriform trees that are everywhere remotely Orokin built are most likely the vines he's talking about. Kuva Siphon missions also specifically require the operators, and in Lua, all of the pods were linked by massive Arboriform formations, so Kuva may simply be a type of sap excreted by the Arboriform trees. The trees are the basis of transferring void energy between places, so it makes sense in my opinion.
It makes more sense to me for the Kuva to be blood rather than sap. In The War Within Teshin says "Some believe the Kuva within is the blood of the Orokin Ancestors. An elixir of power... of immortality." And the Kuva is blood-red after all. Also, It seems weird that trees with the key to immortality are littered everywhere in the orokin ships... they probably had crew on those ships during the Old War, i think the Orokin would probably distance the key to immortality from the common peasants.

They call the Void incarnate the man in the wall, or The Wall's Other Face, to me it seems like not only the void a reflection, it works like a physical mirror, where within, it writhes in potential, but it is merely a barrier, so I would think the Planes of Duviri are likely places beyond the Void, civilizations that unlike the Orokin, have found the truth of the void and how to use it.

Well, seems like part of this video is now invalidated. Alternate timelines, the ones NOT picked, are still very much valid under Eternalism, and the void has the power to shift the perspective...allowing different timelines to interact with each other in some way.
The void has the potential to be one of the coolest things in gaming history, and because we don't know what it is (and never should) it already is. It's like a stange metal crashing down on earth that gives out infinite electricity. It solves all our problems but completely destroys what we know to be facts, electricity can only travel, and is never made or destroyed. I feel like Warframe has some of the best factions/worldbuilding in gaming history, with only the grineer being remotely generic (and even then having a really cool, foreign aesthetic)
Likely due to the many conflicts and battles that happened in that reality. After all, the orokin wanted to destroy anything that could threaten their rule, and clearly this is what was happening in the duviri timeline. A tenno without their void powers would fall easy when faced against ascendent orokin constructs and others things we simply cannot know, and a stasis suit is likely not good protection against blades and guns. I do wonder how the orokin would have fared without the tenno in the sentient invasion however, as we were instrumental in blunting the sentient charge and eventually forcing them into a corner, which directly led to their "plan" and the terminus massacre. If the 10-0 never came back, I wonder if the orokin found another way of defeating the sentients, or if they got anihilated and the only thing that is left is their roaming sentries aimlessly performing their asigned task of getting rid of the 10-0's surivors. Wally's goals in this timeline also seem to show that he has no use for the tenno there, as is shown by their missing powers. This, to me, kinda support the outcome of the origin system being whiped out, as the tenno are needed by wally to act as agents of his plans, but if the system is dead, then wally would not need anything from them, hence removing their powers. It also shows that wally is able to play with all realities and has both shared and individual goals in each of them.

@MinecraftPro15 its more like quite the opposite of the Warp in my headcannon. While the Warp being composed of extreme emotions that makes up entities that are daemons, the void is composed itself of emptiness and no emotions (as it was hinted in the quests). And seeing the finger, it "might" be that the void is a single entity compared to the Warp daemons and the chaos gods might be a single god kind of way (void god idk).Only thing similar is that they can defy space and time. So I guess the Void and the Warp will be natural enemies if both existed at the same time. Both are polar opposites to each other. Hell i can see that the Tennos can be equivalent to Psykers in a way.

i think the finger represents a physical symbol of what we tapped into, representing we just touched the surface of what could be bigger than we can imagine, and how a simple idea of worshiping or seeing the the void as a being and not use it as a tool can lead to something truly catastrophic and its simple as a touch of a finger.

Albrecht Entrati questions who truly has escaped the Void when he returns from it: he or his doppelgänger. I suspect the Duviri Paradox may reveal that the operators "true" self has been stranded in the void for all these years and that the Tenno that we play are in fact copies of themselves - not completely under the control of the Void/man in the wall, but created to serve it/him. Whether they actually do so may be related to the alignment system or whatever we do in the Duviri Paradox. DE_Steve already confirmed that the expansions name comes from the Twin Paradox, which is a thought experiment of a travelling twin being younger than their stationary counterpart due to time dilation. Maybe our "true" selves, being "stuck" in the Void, age faster than the copy outside of it (though both seem to age fairly slowly, considering the centuries since the Zariman accident).

I...didn't? This video came out prior to Deimos, where it was revealed that the finger was cut off from Albrecht's copy. At the time there wasn't any info on what the Man in the Wall looked like, and this was prior to Angels of Zariman where it was explained more clearly how the Reliquary drives work, so I was speculating on why the piece that had been cut off took form as a finger, and why an infinite eldritch being would HAVE such a humanoid appendage in the first place.
The true theory of warframe i have come to develop from having multiple play throughs is that your character is a creation of the orokin and doesnt exist actually in the physical world your character has existed always in the void. what has become the ten-zero accident is a false memory of conception created by the orokin to suppress the connection not to the void but to the father banished in the void. giving the tenno a humanity, or/ empathy allowing them to be controlled because as they were before they were just mindless dolls of the entrati father who is trapped. you must look at everything in warframe, first the human body is worshipped because there are no humans left so if there are no humans left where did your tenno character come from? with a non disfigured human form? what is it about void energy that the infection cant touch and what is it that allows to move the warframes to gain their humanity? The duviri paradox first read it backwards a paradox duviri a paradoxical statment is something that leads to something unexplainable, therefore duviri meaning door and paradox meaning unexplainable just means a "door to the unexplainable or unknown"
I think a more apt definition of The Void would be to call it "Hostilely Indifferent." Its will sees us as an annoyance, like a mosquito, or in this case, a stubborn tapeworm. Think The Warp from 40K.
Yes, but the warp pre birth of slaneesh. The gods are there, but they don’t meddle in the affairs of mortals. Only when slaneesh woke up became the warp as nightmarish as it is now. Before that it was like the void now( albeit a bit more deadly, since you could still summon daemons and stuff.)

The Void; AKA the Spirit Realm before being corrupted and turning into the WARP.
@MinecraftPro15 its more like quite the opposite of the Warp in my headcannon.
While the Warp being composed of extreme emotions that makes up entities that are daemons, the void is composed itself of emptiness and no emotions (as it was hinted in the quests). And seeing the finger, it "might" be that the void is a single entity compared to the Warp daemons and the chaos gods might be a single god kind of way (void god idk).Only thing similar is that they can defy space and time.
So I guess the Void and the Warp will be natural enemies if both existed at the same time. Both are polar opposites to each other.
Hell i can see that the Tennos can be equivalent to Psykers in a way.

It possibly amplified the fears and anxieties of the adults the life stuff that adults have culminated over their life as children the tenno could very likely let go of the trivial things that adults hold onto so hard and become so frustrated over.

i think the finger represents a physical symbol of what we tapped into, representing we just touched the surface of what could be bigger than we can imagine, and how a simple idea of worshiping or seeing the the void as a being and not use it as a tool can lead to something truly catastrophic and its simple as a touch of a finger.

But from what I understand it was during Albreitch Entrati when he encounter himself as the entity and closed the wall(void gate) it cut his finger, and during his research it said the finger slowly grown bigger... I thinking here's a miss of information -.-

Albrecht Entrati questions who truly has escaped the Void when he returns from it: he or his doppelgänger. I suspect the Duviri Paradox may reveal that the operators "true" self has been stranded in the void for all these years and that the Tenno that we play are in fact copies of themselves - not completely under the control of the Void/man in the wall, but created to serve it/him. Whether they actually do so may be related to the alignment system or whatever we do in the Duviri Paradox. DE_Steve already confirmed that the expansions name comes from the Twin Paradox, which is a thought experiment of a travelling twin being younger than their stationary counterpart due to time dilation. Maybe our "true" selves, being "stuck" in the Void, age faster than the copy outside of it (though both seem to age fairly slowly, considering the centuries since the Zariman accident).

That was awesome, excellent video! The connections you draw are insightful and really help to put things into context. These videos make me appreciate Warframe even more. I kind of wish Heart of Deimos had come out before Liches did. I think learning about the requiem words first, before being forced to use them would have been awesome process of discovery. I supposed new players joining the game after the next update will get the chance to experience it in that order.

No, the warp is a universe shaped by the emotions of lifeforms in the galaxy. Beyond the milky way, the Warp has no presence or power. The Void from dishonored is basically an alternate universe that was shattered to create ours. It manipulates the dreams of men and is a force of change within the world. Yet time through the dishonored Void is convoluted, and you can see all time superimposed along its abyssal canvas.

it's worth noting that void exposure seems to cause people to see it the way Tenno do (which is to say, in Albrecht's lore when he enters the Void unprotected he describes it as we see it in-game, as well as beginning to see the Man in the Wall)

So does everyone have an oro? If Kuva grants one a “revitalized oro”, does that mean they just flat out get one or their own is strengthened? Do the Tenno just have a different kind of oro than other beings, and if so, why do the sentients need to make their own. Maybe because they are machines?
Idk why he thinks Oro is something that needs to be made... We know the Sentients have a revive system based on Oro, and so do our Warframes. I haven't seen any evidence of Oro being necessarily related to the Tenno or the would.

I...didn't? This video came out prior to Deimos, where it was revealed that the finger was cut off from Albrecht's copy. At the time there wasn't any info on what the Man in the Wall looked like, and this was prior to Angels of Zariman where it was explained more clearly how the Reliquary drives work, so I was speculating on why the piece that had been cut off took form as a finger, and why an infinite eldritch being would HAVE such a humanoid appendage in the first place.
The true theory of warframe i have come to develop from having multiple play throughs is that your character is a creation of the orokin and doesnt exist actually in the physical world your character has existed always in the void. what has become the ten-zero accident is a false memory of conception created by the orokin to suppress the connection not to the void but to the father banished in the void. giving the tenno a humanity, or/ empathy allowing them to be controlled because as they were before they were just mindless dolls of the entrati father who is trapped.
you must look at everything in warframe, first the human body is worshipped because there are no humans left so if there are no humans left where did your tenno character come from? with a non disfigured human form?
what is it about void energy that the infection cant touch and what is it that allows to move the warframes to gain their humanity?

I think a more apt definition of The Void would be to call it "Hostilely Indifferent." Its will sees us as an annoyance, like a mosquito, or in this case, a stubborn tapeworm. Think The Warp from 40K.
Yes, but the warp pre birth of slaneesh. The gods are there, but they don’t meddle in the affairs of mortals. Only when slaneesh woke up became the warp as nightmarish as it is now. Before that it was like the void now( albeit a bit more deadly, since you could still summon daemons and stuff.)

i really hope it comes to tenno vs everyone else tennos beeing used for so long broke their chains and set temselves free destroying the races of the system old and new to be one with the void or separating themselves from it at the end too. i want the tennos to be the new gods of a whole new reality (lets be real we are all playing this game to have god characters breaking the game mechanics ;) )
