I’ve had both and I still have the master hunter. Great all around woods knife. It’s my best hunting knife I own. The srk is a great knife too and I had the srk c in the carbon steel. For a woods knife the master hunter outshines it.
I already had my mind set on a Master Hunter, and you just solidified that! I love my SRK compact and now i can rest assured the Master Hunter is the right choice for my next knife! Thanks, brother! 🤘
I heard that the SRK-C is done in a sabre/flat grind instead of the sabre/hollow grind of the SRK. Is that true? I prefer sabre/flat in tough survival knives because the extra full thickness part makes the spine stronger. Hollow grind knives are more prone to chipping or folding/wrinkling in the thin edge area.
Good stuff. Yea my go to outdoor knife is definitely my master hunter. When I do long walking stalking pig hunting. Sometimes I gotta go .5-1.5 miles on foot. And when I pop one that far in I’m not gonna drag or carry it out. Even if it’s a little 120lb female. It gets the box cutter with hooked carpet blade and the master hunter. Piece it up right there and double garbage bag it feet up and away I go. Definitely enough knife to get through those hips and shoulders when they aren’t all perfectly hung up with a speaker and all. Fantastic knife
Why did I read this as SRC or Monster Hunter 😂😂😂😂😂 I one hundred percent thought you were going to read descriptions or reviews and have us guess if it was from cold steel or monster hunter lmao
Good point on the handle 🇺🇸 🇳🇿
I agree they missed the mark with the handle. I have them all my Master Hunter is made in Italy.

I've owned the MASTER HUNTER since the 80's. American made carbon v
Steel. Best hunting knife I've
Ever owned.
Srk-C in sk5 is an inexpensive truck knife when purchasing multiple copies for different locations.
Yup. Duck bag. Boat. Truck. For what they cost you just get a few and leave them in the different outfits.
You should test out some Lionsteel knives.
The t6, t5, and m5 are really nice.
T5 is already a great knife, if they done one in 3v and kydex sheath that would be awesome, T5 is a grail knife for me..💯👍
@@dwaynekaye2000 agreed! 👍

I just compared the two. The srk-c does appear to be a saber grind
I just got a awesome deal on a lot of SRK midway usa 26.00 bought a lot of them.
Did anybody else think "Whoa John Malkovich's Son/grandson has a knife channel"
