This is great, thanks man! Thinking about getting one soon, just getting into track days and did Thill last weekend, do you know if this mount is usable on track? As in would the providers (carters, z2, FTD, etc) allow this mount out on track? Or does it have to be some kind of mechanical mount? thanks! Also really enjoy your videos on track laps, have been invaluable to a beginner like me

That’s awesome to hear that the videos help! Hope to see you at one of our local tracks soon☺️
It depends on the track provider - all allow to have one mounted on the bike but some stop allowing it on the helmet for safety . Simply ask when you are at the track they are all super cool 😎

Thank you for the video! I really wanna get the rf-1400 but does the GoPro hero 9 get in the way of the visor opening mechanism on the helmet? I have the hero 8 and am wondering if I’ll need to mount it upside down or off to the side somewhere

Even with the larger GoPro 9 I had no problem accessing the opening button. With the setup I used you have quite some adjustability.

3-D printed mount for my $400 GoPro? Hell no. I wouldn’t trust that crap ever

3d printed quality gets better and better. I think this piece is perfectly safe to use

@@MonoMoto I’m realizing that now. 3D printed mounts are the only way to get the exact curvature of a specific helmet. The GoPro branded ones are just flat or wrong curve
