I don't normally take the time to thank someone for a video, but .. thank you. I really appreciate how you got right to the helmet padding deconstruction and install, very straightforward. Not only that but some of your cable routing ideas were extremely helpful.
I have the same helmet in matte black. I installed my cardo edge with the adhesive but it came off after using it once. I live in Australia and it was 26 degrees not sure if its because its hot. Is yours still on? Is it easily come off like that? Do you have any suggestion that I can do to keep it on properly? Also Thanks for your video, it made the installation a lot easier.
@@Cihan_Vural first of all sorry to hear that, but you got the issue. I live in Saudi Arabia and trust me here is more warm than Australia.. I had no issue at all with the coming off or stability. Perhaps you buy 3M strong stickers to stick it back and make sure the surface exactly flat doesn’t have curve to avoid sticking.
@@srtf1k my helmet is shoei nxr2, as i know its the same helmet. So yeah It has some curves on the side, i wiped it with wipes that comes with it, dried it up. But i start using it in 2-3 hours instead of leaving it all night but i dont think thats the problem. Man i would be so sad if its because its matte black. With this specific helmet, we cannot use the clamp too :/
Thank you for your nice words😇. Tbh this chin mouth what I found as latest out there in the market and so far it works pretty strong on high speed even. But! I have used a stronger 3M sticker😉
@@srtf1k you should be able to find 3d printable schematics for this helmet (look for rf1400 or nxr2) and then have one printed and stick it to the helmet, or you could get one from chinmounts but they're very overpriced and you would have to replace the sticker with sugru because I've heard it tends to fail

What do you do with the ear covers you took out? Do you put them back or just leave them off?
Just took them out and store it in the box. Perhaps one day if i remove speakers. I may insert back

I feel like the Cardo Edge speakers are a bit to bulky for that helmet and they hurt my ears a bit. Do you have the same feeling?
On loudly level it is. But when you do over 150km/h it is not enough. Wind takes over everything 😅
Some friends even goes bu 44mm speakers
I think it comes with 2 different pads? One thick and one thin. If u used the thick, try changing to the thinner ones.

@@Cihan_Vural probably matt black surface doesn’t allow to have strong sticker. Matt has different surface than grey colour one.

Yes, I'm in the UK and have a white NXR 2. In the US it's definitely the RF1400.
