The DJI Mic 2 makes using wireless audio a dream as well! Put industrial velcro on the inside od the helmet and on the Mic 2 transmitter, set gain to -12 and never need wires for audio!
I don’t understand, where you want to put transmitter ? In helmet ? Outside of helmet ? If you put it to camera directly, side of transmitter will be in your vision … or what you talking about ? Connect by cable transmitter and fix it in helmet with mic ?
@@Ebenezum13 you have various options with the dji mic. you can plug the receiver into the camera (it's sideways and will not reduce you sight with a helmet mount, I have used it that way myself before I switched the new newer DJI Mic 2), and put the transmitter in your pocket with a lavalier into the helmet for example. If you dont want the receiver to add you your camera size/weight you can also just use a usb c cable and put the receiver unit in your pocket as well. works like a charm, too. the best thing DJI did was to releasse the DJI Mic 2. these transmitters can connect to the Action 4 wireless on their own. Pits you can only use one at a time, though.

Hi There, at the setup section of your video you mention you have a ND Filter, what you did not mention was which Filter (CPL / ND8 / ND16 / ND32) your ISO setting is for the ND Filter, correct?
What ive understood is ND32 for sunny days, ND 16 for brighter cloudy days and ND 8 for less bright cloudy days Im probably a bit wrong with the explanation but the brighter the day is the higher number ND filter u need And yes the ISO is for the ND filter kinda, if you change the ISO so the camera is more sensitive to light then you need to have faster shutter speed to not get an overexposed picture, but in this case he has ISO of 100 i think, which will pick up less light, but the shutter speed is so slow so the picture will get overexposed anyways, so the ND filter removes some light kinda, correct me someone if im wrong but thats how ive understood it all, also kind of forgotten some bits from when I was taught about cameras lmao
Great review also the Bike ride was very informative on image & Video capture love the wide angle's clarity. The only difference is hard to compete with my Bycicle speed:)
I have the action 4 and the DJI mic 2 - just wish the sound was better. I've had a motorcycle for forever and am just starting to think of video ideas for it - but I really need the sound to be better and not so muffled. I've seen other vides whose sound was good. Not sure what the difference is though since you're using the same setup - almost - theirs was a wireless setup and they used magnetic tape and just put the mic right inside the helmet - I'm gonna have to experiment.
Nice New Bike !!!!!......Terry , Also nice Camera Package.......That was a great experience riding with you through the Camera, like a Tom Cruise Mission Impossible Motorcycle Scene , Great Filming !!!!!...........Be Safe out on those Roads.....
Currently waiting for Amazon to deliver my Action 4. It arrives in 2 days and I can't wait to mount it to my HD and start recording. Thanks for the video. You've made it look so easy to set up and start.
Great review, I know the 5 is out now but I've ordered the 4 adventure package as it was a good deal. I'm fed up with my GoPro freezing & corrupting files. it possible to connect via Bluetooth to my Sena 30k?
Great video Terry. The action 4 is definitely the way to go now. The hero 12 just doesn’t cut it anymore. Plus as you said if you have dji mic 2 is a wireless mic so no need for cables coming from the camera. Love the bike and it sounds so perfect.
Very useful video my brother! Trying to see what my options are for motovlogging and this was helpful in deciding. Now just to pony up the funds for the setup.
I like the ace pros wider field of view. But this is still a banger camera. It shoots 10bit log, has a ton of features, syncs direct with DJI mics, don’t feel like because there is something new out that all of a sudden the action 4 is a bad camera, even compared to the action 5. The 4 is still great
can you link which j connector you have specifically? i bought the chin mounts bracket as well and was wondering how tf i was suppose to connect my camera to it but i cant find any j connectors on amazon, at least not one that comes alone, they mainly come as a package deal and the connectors always go with THAT SPECIFIC setup they arent for chin mounts specifically :/
Hi! I have the same camera and i am using it for motovlogging too! I can see that on my footage on high speeds I have the EIS issue and the footage is little shaky and on your video aren't! My settings are exactly the same as yours! The only thing that is different is the ISO, your is locked to 100, mine is 100/1600! Do you think that this may couse the problem? P.S. Great video !!
Yes. If you dont set your iso to a particular value, the camera will always try to compensate and keep changing its values and on action cameras that created an issue with the stabilisation. If youre using the manual shutter speed, then also keep iso manual as well.
Man I wouldn't worry about no wires and stuff when you got the dji mic too. Best part is the wireless use of it. Screw them wires! I just ordered a whole kit for myself. Can't wait!
Man great video, i read in more video tutorial, this: "the motion blur effect dont work if the rokstady stabilization are ON" with osmo action3, its true or not?
Nice Video! I like your Setup i looked for something like that to replace my Hero 7, it does not great on my Bike. Just that magnetic Holder... man i Love it, i think i will get an Action 4. Thanks for that Video, keep up that great work! Greetings from Germany, Ride Safe!
Enjoyed the video and review. Lost my GoPro whilst riding in Namibia (and all my 2 weeks of footage). Anyway - I may buy this Action4. Chin Mount is a problem on my enduro helmet - anyway I subscribed to channel - enjoy the sports bike footage
Hi, on the video we can see that it is jittering a little but my videos are jittering A LOT. How can you have such a good video with such a low shutter speed, with RS on and ND filter ?? I dont get it, i am trying various settings and it is still not working.
Mounted to your helmet stabilization will work well including horizon leveling. If you mount it to your motorcycle, car or boat, the engine vibration seems to affect the gyroscopes. DJI literally told me to turn off stabilization. Here’s my experience with a boat th-cam.com/video/gEuXfDJ5Wwk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=QZoAzr3cuOCbyqh0
Question on the shutter speed…I noticed you kept the shutter speed to 1/60 and I didn’t notice any jitters…I’ve seen videos where people claim that rocksteady doesn’t work well with ND filters at lower shutter speeds…did you do any stabilization in post?
The DJI Mic 2 makes using wireless audio a dream as well! Put industrial velcro on the inside od the helmet and on the Mic 2 transmitter, set gain to -12 and never need wires for audio!
The mic is pretty big, unfortunately.
@@PetrLunak but you can stick in lav mic to the transmitter/mic2 unit
@@skrasii thanks, I didn't know that.

Great information i will definitely look into that action 4 stay safe my brother.
Great video, What speed were you doing on the freeway?
Purchased one recently, came back to this video to say that this camera is actually fabulous. 10/10
i got the insta360 ace pro 2.....waiting for it to arrive.
2:35 I prefer the motoradds mount. Had a couple chinmounts fail on me.
Great video. I’ve liked and subscribed here in the uk. Keep up the great work 😎👍
Thanks for the review. The Action 4 is a great camera, I've just bought one! Not had a chance to test it yet, it's winter here in the UK. Subscribed
Great video... i like the way you get right to the point.

Do you get dual audio channels with the USB mic?
watched loads of these osmo action4 videos - as a moto vlogger this is the best one out there and has all the settings i was interested in.. Thanks
When lavalier mic is plugged in, camera’s own wind reduction still works on its own behind? Or just lavalier’s reduction works?
Perfect Moto Vloging Action Camara 🤝👌📸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
all the sound and voice while you were riding captured by your wireless mic or the mic that connect (wired) to the camera?
Nice video, Could you tell me which J mount you bought for the action 4? There are so many on amazon and most say they are for goPro.
Would you take this over the insta 360 ace pro?

How do you capture your hoamies sound? And wich Lav mic you using?
Hello!!
May i ask what helmet mount you have? I'm interested in buying the osmo action 4 for motovloging.
Thank you!
Its so strange you can not connect bluetooth mike directly to the camera
Dope video bro…which one would u prefer osmo action 4 or the insta360 ace pro
Hey man just curious to know if you've ever considered using the DJI mic 2 in the helmet instead of the setup instead of the setup in the video?
Please make a video where you explain the best settings for DJI Mic2? Which are best suited for a motorcycle vlog.
Same setting for the action 2?
I know the dji has a magnetic mount so are you using a safety tether so it dose not fall off or is it fine the why it is
can you please suggest a setting without nd filter?
Are the voice commands working while riding, with the engine running and wind noise?
Which mic ur using
Solid video bro, I’m sold and subscribed 💪🏽
What ND filter you using
Any other options for the mount itself? All the stories of it falling off while riding are just not a good look... especially for the price
is there any way to record audio through the camera AND through a lavalier mic at the same time?...
Did you removed the rocksteady?
Thank you for the instruction and information on settings.
Where u put mic?
Where's the link for the camera?

Is that ok with rainy day ? You removed type-c door, and camera is not waterproof anymore?
You gotta get that Action 4 offset mount piece, centers the lens on the helmet
Got a link?

I think this has just convinced me to mount one in my s2000
Greta video I used mine on stock settings was bad choppy untill I used this settinh
The motion blur you're getting here is insane, it doesn't even look like an action cam 🤯
Nd filters
nice explanation. thx
Man great video, i read in more video tutorial, this: "the motion blur effect dont work if the rokstady stabilization are ON" with osmo action3, its true or not?
Well the motion blur in this video isn’t an “effect” it’s the 180 degree shutter rule at play
do you wear anything for your hair in helmet
Well made video!!
Good info bro ❤
Can some one tell me what connected you need for chin mount ? Can t find it any where

Freakin awesome 😃
bro, please tell me how you make blur the video background.. what tools you are using?
It’s the natural blur that happens from adhering to the 180 degree shutter rule that I explained

so what fps etc u using?
What about insta 360 ace pro?

I’m still using the Hero 8 for my Super73. 😂 It still works…. I would get the Action 4 if I needed to upgrade
Can you pls tell what adjustment I have to make in pro settings for night time recording .
- any resolution but 30fps or lower
- rock steady
- exposure: Auto
- WB 4000-4500K
- DLOG
- Image adjustment: (Sharpness -1) (Noise reduction -1)

how do you deal with lav mic catching all the breathings? I mean they sound too lound even on gain -14
I guess not breathe 😂😂. No seriously I need to find a way to move the mic from in front of my mouth
