Yes, but I could think of wayyy better uses for $38 million. And altho' I love the views, I don't love the decor, so it would definitely need a make-over for me. Oops! There goes another $5 million (at least)!

I'd guess about $4-6m depending on how you furnish it. 6500sqft is pretty affordable. If you use regular materials, you can make that for $600-750k in large swaths of the country. Most people don't go that big though, because it's just more to maintain.

I'm not from the USA, so I don't know anything about buying apartments there, but besides $38 million, I wonder what are the other hidden costs of maintaining the apartment - such as energy, utilities, management fees, etc.?
maintenance fees, energy, utilities, management fees etc...are all cheap at this price point. what will really cost you money beside buying it are the taxes associate with owning such a property !
For a space this size... probably $10-12k a month.
people who buy 38 milion $ homes probably dont even ask the montly cost 😂

How much are the common charges?
First time seeing this channel and you look kind of numb after looking at this, and I basically feel numb as well, like I can't even imagine spending a day or night here, let alone living here. Also makes me kind of sad because it represents how incredibly few people get to experience this kind of thing, or even 1/50th as nice a place, especially in NYC, and even if you earn a 6-figure salary!
that’s the nature of scarcity, of course not everybody can live with views and space and luxury like this within a 10Mio city…space is limited, space with view almost non existent…but luckily everybody can experience the views, just go on top of the rockefeller
I’m with Caleb, I liked the guest bedroom the best. The rest was the most pretentious space ever, more like a tourist attraction. The partition & the continuous marble slab… just snooty. I was in the marble biz & my stepbrother still is. Continuous? Not all that impressive of a feat… transporting it up 600’ , slightly more difficult.

While it's obviously a fabulous apartment, it is sort of nauseating watching this video AFTER I watched the Hong Kong one. They're measuring windows by degrees and those people didn't even have windows. Its heartbreaking. If I'm ever rich enough to consider buying a $38 million property, I hope I have the social awareness to buy a super nice $8 million property and housing for, what, 1-200 other families?
