  • Celebrity Cruises first Edge-Class cruise ship, Celebrity Edge, was a major leap forward in design, technology and style when she was launched in 2018. Having sailed on the inaugural, I journeyed back with my family for a second cruise onboard this beautiful ship, staying in connecting Ocean View staterooms.
In this complete tour of the category O1 Prime Ocean View Stateroom #3147 onboard Celebrity Edge, we'll highlight everything from storage, comfort features and more to give you a much better idea of what to expect if you are planning to book this category for your own cruise.

How was noise did you hear any from the above you, deck 3 being a busy deck? Can you elaborate? Did you feel much movement?

Hi Lannishaven, thanks for watching. There was some noise of other ships when going in and out of port since these rooms are just above the water, but other than that, they were very quiet most of the time.

Hi TripperDan99, thanks for watching. I am there with you on that. Never liked the infinite balcony concept, certainly not anywhere near a regular balcony experience. Not happy to see Royal Caribbean borrow the idea for Icon of the Seas. I'm certain the idea was meant to save money in construction and materials costs and/or reduced maintenance.

@@TalkingCruise Thanks Doug, that's why we had been avoiding the Edge class ships but now the new Edge+ ships are really wetting the whistle to go on one. I figure we're going to have to try one, but tempering my expectations on the infinite balcony in hopes it'll allow us to enjoy it more. BTW, you bet about watching, your channel should be in the millions of subscribers in my opinion!!!
