My cousin ordered a f350 XL trim end of August. 4 months later hasn’t even heard anything. They told him 3-4 months. Gonna be waiting a while! On the bright side I pick up my 22’ Tacoma on Thursday!!
AMG winner cracks a wheel and then the previous owner gives him the original wheels. Did the winner call Mike and say "hey, I cracked a wheel can you help me out?". That winner is so lucky that Mike was willing to help. Ford recently made changes to their dealer allocations. Special orders aren't given any additional priority over dealer inventory units anymore. It is really an issue for Broncos and partly why it may take some people years to finally get one.

My Gen 3 is being delivered today. Ordered in June, and build/ship date pushed back at least 5 times. Nice to get it after it being almost a YEAR OLD...ha. At least it has low miles.
When that new Raptor comes in check under the hood before taking it home, Some guys have found out that when Ford parks these trucks on a lot somewhere to wait for chips to be installed varmints get into the engine compartment and chew on things like the engine cover.

This video made me pull the trigger and subscribe to your channel!! I’m a first time Ford customer and soon to be (when soon is I have absolutely no idea) Raptor owner. I truly appreciate and thank you for calling out Ford on the disastrous Raptor order process. The Raptor is my dream truck and Ford screwed the pooch on this one. I’m in the exact same boat as yourself. Order in the system and accepted by Ford 6/14, then the fun began. Initial production date was 8/9 then shifted about 8 times and finally landing on 10/28. Truck has been “in production” since then with no end in sight as to when it will be delivered as it sits in a parking lot somewhere waiting for chips and whatever else. Ford should have NEVER built my truck unless they had all the necessary parts to complete the build. Now I see, as you said, Raptors that were ordered way after mine are being built and delivered with all their parts. I own Ford shares and have been contemplating selling them because how they treat their customers. I understand they are the best selling trucks in the world but come on @Ford get your s@#t together and do the right thing for you customers!!!!!! Sorry for the rant but I feel your pain bro, it’s a terrible way to do business and treat a brand new customer willing to purchase your highest-end pickup truck. Let’s not forget that there is now another competitor in this arena so Ford is not the only game in town anymore, this has just become a two horse race!! Ordered a Ranger end of 2020. While it came in on time, the date on the customer side of the site had dates that kept changing in both directions. One day it would say a month, the next day 2 weeks. Then it went from 2 weeks to delivered in 1 day. Called the dealer, no truck. Dealer called back a couple hours later as the truck was being unloaded.
Some guys on the Ford forums say it depends on the options you ordered on your Raptor for the hold up, But I get what your saying about Ford, You can't even build & price a 2022 F150 on there web site yet.

3rd Gen Raptor didn't change much. I sold my 2021 Raptor because I was very disappointed. Good thing someone bought it from me gave me $25,000 over sticker price.
I can tell ya there’s hundreds of them sitting in Flat Rock waiting to get finished, along with thousands of F150s. It’s a mess. We moved about 200 of them to the repair area, then they told us to put them back.
My neighbor he brought a 2022 GMC Terrain SLT after he sold his 2010 GMC Terrain that had over 200.000 miles on it. He has had it since like late January or early February. And he still has no heated seats because of the chip has still not come for it.

If u have a VIN and order number you can go on a ford forum put in your info and you get all the info I did that with my F150 way better than dealing with the dealership

It’s not Ford’s fault. Every manufacturer is going thru it and some are eliminating options as a result. Ford wants to keep vehicle options on the table and make sure that when you take delivery it isn’t partially built

my F150 Tremor took awhile to come as well.. luckily it had the deleted start/stop engine option- so that was a bonus. It took about 4 months.

It's not just Ford, my coworker has been waiting for fo his Silverado for months too. The whole industry is messed up.
