I get why people would keep their finances to themselves in certain situations. I agree with you that it’s just money and not a big deal and That it’s slimy when they lie about it, but when they just keep it to themselves it’s a different story to me. When people know you have a bit of money they’re like vultures and some won’t stop till they get some of what you have. It can ruin relationships when people find out how much money you have/make as well. It’s just better for some information to be personal sometimes. It’s a weird thing for a lot of people but lying about it is ridiculous.
Money is the root of all evil. It won’t get you in Heaven and that’s what life is about.

Crazy prices everywhere Mike,I live in England InSept 2019 I bought an AudiA8(12 months old ) for £33000,kept it for 2 years & sold it for £33000! problem is everything else is a daft price as well & Im stuck sharing the Wife’s Kia until prices drop a bit (hopefully in the Spring) 😀🚙🇬🇧&🇺🇸🤝
What you're missing is that the value of GBP was debased by 25% in those 2 years. Same money back but it only buys 75% of the stuff...

Love the cost transparency! Could you do a video (or provide more details) on how the leasing of the R8 works? I've heard about other TH-camrs doing this, so I'm just curious. I'm sure it's different from a normal lease, so I find it intriguing.

@@WDWMachine it’s not a new car for one and super cars depreciate differently from normal cars (or they go up in value). Tyler Hoover mentioned this special type of lease in one of his recent videos (about his Z8) so I’m curious
@@Kerleem I can tell you from experience that they work almost exactly the same way. Instead of leasing from say Ford Motor Credit you would go through a private lease company. You will still make payments based on a money factor ( basically interest) most of the time they don’t factor in appreciation because they lease companies are not car dealers they are financial institutions so they want to make money by lending not selling cars. Some companies like Ferrari will lease used cars and say you can only buy the lease or turn in they won’t let you trade in to a non Ferrari dealer.

No matter who you are, so set yourself up to be comfortable in the good and the bad times. Lots of loans can give you a false lifestyle inflation that is only exposed once the money stops coming in like it used to.
As for you, I'm confident you can get back to your level of success given some time and hard work. You've done it before, and you can do it again! All the best :)

Dude you need some education. A lease is a fancy word for rent. You are renting the R8. You cant get rid of it and make money. It doesn't belong to you. When the lease is up it goes back to the person you leased it from. Technically it goes back in the same condition as it was when you got it or you pay a penalty. As to the Raptor..you have to give it away since you depreciated it. If you sold it you would have to pay back the depreciation. So now for the new truck, you have no trade, and no cash from selling the old one.
It’s a lot of money but you are making it work for you and the family. So glad you are able to live your dream.
Well congrats to you my man. I absolutely love that Audi. I kinda wish you would have switched it up a bit instead of another mercedes. And honestly even switching it up instead of another Raptor. But keep up with the content.

I apologize first but are you allowed to do major modifications on cars if they are leasing and have to give it up at the end or you have to restore it to stock?

It’s not allowed, he does not own the car. People have been forced to pay off the total before when the finance company has found out.
Most people put the stock parts back on before returning.
Does insurance factor in mods you do to the cars like new wheels and tires or the supercharger on your f-150?
What happens when the lease is up for the R8 and the buyout is way over price and all those modifications u made on it? Does it have to go back to its original way you received the car??

Great you are doing well Mike, happy for you man. I am in the latter position you discussed. I have been selling cars simply because I am making good profits on them verses what I paid a year to three years ago for some of my vehicles. My wife and I are going from seven vehicles down to four. I am down to five at the moment, only one left to sell. In turn I have been investing the profits to further realize greater profits.
You are absolutely correct in saying you could make money on the R8 by selling it but, what do you get? The only feasible option is an allocation on a new vehicle (hypothetically say ZO6) with a dealership that would not charge above MSRP. I am not saying get a Z06, don't do that, lol. Not that Vettes are not fantastic cars, I just don't think you are a Vette guy.
I definitely thought it was going to be more than that, all around its not to bad though, but that can still be considered a lot to certain people of course. Thanks for sharing sir 🤙

Got a question Mike. How do you deal with the probably high amount of hard inquiries you get on your credit. I’d switch out cars a lot too if it wasn’t for that reason.

One "sweet ride is OK, but if one is just an average person, 4 to 5 so call "sweet rides", is just way to much! It's not impressive. With the drawing for then pink Raptor must have made him enough to put a down payment on the AMG. All I have seen on here from You Tubers, is guys repairing a older brand of a vehicle to give away FREE for a deserving person.

If you keep it quiet, you might fly under the radar a little. Fewer pull overs? Might be a good thing. I know, it's content for you when you change the exhaust, and probably sponsorship dollars...... consider a quiet exhaust with great flow and increased power.

I was surprised by how low it was, but you're insurance is great but you must have a clear driving record and dam you got a great deal with your AMG and your planning ahead is a good idea!!! The thought of having rubber bands on any large wheel is crazy when it comes to pot hole and the damage they can do !!! As cool as it looks specially here in Idaho you don't really have places like your buddy Chad to go fix or replace them along with the tires still cool but then you have wild life and trash on the road to contend with!! But such is life
