Bro could you please explain how your capacitor is working when its only getting positive signal and no negative signal and its getting charged and discharged using resistance. But i didnt understand how capacitor is working. From one side you are connecting to collector which is giving positive output so negative side of capacitor which is connected to relay is passing on positive. Please explain the working of capacitor

@Orbit Tips Sir is it okay to attach a potentiometer on the capacitor to control its time delay? Instead of a fixed value resistor?
That resistor has no role in controlling the timing, it is just to discharge the capacitor. If you want to change the timing , try capacitor with different values.

To increase dispensing time you can use 4700uf capacitor.

I'm unable to find 3300uf 25v cap. Instead I tried on 3309uf 35v but it's not working. Any solution for 2 seconds cutoff?
Try the 4700 25 v ,its working to me .

Dont know how you are operating this as your capacitor and resistor gives 3.3 sec time. But in you video its very less.
And the way you put resistor on capacitor.

Hello, first of all thank you for sharing this useful video. Need some advice- i have followed all the steps you have explained but i am not getting the same functionality. Pump keeps running even there is nothing in front of sensor and when you bring your hand near to sensor the pump stops working. What could be the issue. Please do help
This circuit not working
You have connected motor to NC terminal of the relay, connect it to the NO terminal it will work fine
that's because u mabe working in a sunny place or chance the ir module ( get a Robo india line follower ir module )HOPE IT HELPS U
