actually i already done both simulation, if you follow the actual circuit(+-) the LED will light up in low resistance and light off if you increase a little bit from the potentiometer. But, if you follow the circuit from this video(++/- -) the LED will light up even it is in high resistance and will light off if the resistance value is nearly 100% full resistance. thats all the difference but both circuit can work in any application. it just you need control the potentiometer. TQ.

@Zahid you need a relay . Say 5V relay. Connect 1Kiloohm (1k) resistor to output pin, then to the base of an npn transistor e.g. BC 337. Emitter of BC 337 goes to negative rail but its collector connect to anode of a diode IN4007 with diode's cathode going to the positive rail. Now one of your 5V relay coil terminal will be connected to the diode's anode and another terminal to positive rail. Now connect a common terminal of the relay to the AC Live socket of the 220V - 240VAC power supply and and Normally Open terminal connect it to the Live wire of the AC bulb. Now take a Neutral wire from the Bulb to the Ac socket of the 220V AC power supply.You are ready to go/ light your AC bulb. A word of caution: AC is dangerous, I advise that you familiarise with how to connect relays to npn as well as pnp transistors first, then get someone knowledgeable in AC circuits. Otherwise I could send you a complete circuit by WhatsApp

@@dcmkey the circuit works well at 5v to 6v . At 12V R1 of 100 Ohms will start heating. If you use a power supply of 5V or 6V DC you should use a 5V relay in case you want to power an AC Load

How to use this circuit for A.C bulb.
@Zahid you need a relay . Say 5V relay. Connect 1Kiloohm (1k) resistor to output pin, then to the base of an npn transistor e.g. BC 337.
