Awe, thanks so much!!
Roben-Marie, I am really enjoying watching all of your videos. I have a question. Do you gesso the papers before you start with pastels and watercolors?
You are most welcome and glad you are enjoying them. For most, I add a light coat of gesso mixed with water. I really like the sketchbook paper thin so I don't add too much!
Love the methods you use, however, when I try that it looks like my little grandchild did it! LOL Is that instant coffee?
Thanks! I have been doing it for many years. Yes, it actually instant espresso.
Ever since I found your channel, I've watched & enjoyed your videos. You make it look so easy, but when I try to be free, I don't like what I create. Question - Do you have an idea of where you're going before you start (for example you put in the leaf shapes right away) or do you wing it? Thank you.
Thanks so much!! I pretty much wing it.! 😂
These are lovely! Did you gesso your papers?
Thanks so much! The base has a light coat of gesso.
Had fun watching this, Roben-Marie! Could you please remind me the name/brand of that chunky green pencil? Update: nvm, I figured it out, it’s a Stabilo Woody in colour 570 (leaf green). I love it!
So glad you enjoyed it!!
I like this process. What watercolor brush do you use? Thanks.
Thanks so much! For mixed media I use Simply Simmons. I use them with all mediums.
Wanted to see you paint them😢
Sorry, not sure what you mean.
And then you started cutting up the ‘monkey’ page 😂 and stuck the monkey upside down 🙈 🤪🥰
Interesting observation! Thanks for sharing
