As Lostprophets fan, it truly breaks my heart for what he has done to those victims, but most importantly, for himself. He chose to bury everything with him: fame, love, friends, trust and of course - Music. I'm glad I can separate art from artists and still enjoy songs of this (still) amazing band, but every time I get reminded about his actions, I just feel myself not in my own plate. I wish in other life he is the best and most kind human being, adored by the whole world, who still makes new albums for his beloved fans. To every broken heart in here...
Tbh think Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell shouldve made this list. Chester Bennington for sure tho, man continued playing a concert after breaking his arm, he often stopped shows to help fans, his songs were felt by millions of fans, and the man himself was the kindest youd ever meet.
The stuff Ian Watkins did is horrifying and diabolical. I used to love the lost prophets too as a kid. That life sentence was 1000% deserved and honestly that doesn't seem like enough.
Dude I only just recently found out the full truth of it and I'm disgusted by him. I loved lostprophet's song "To Hell We Ride" from Need for Speed Underground and man it hurts. Even among the prisoners he's with they don't like him. I found out a guy shanked him with a rusty toothbrush or something.
Not gonna lie, the case of Ian Watkins should be taken as a cautionary tale of *why you shouldn't let fame go over your head.* Just because you're famous doesn't mean you'll get away scot-free by doing an ungodly amount of atrocities 'cause sooner or later, it will bite you back real hard. And to add insult to injury, Ian shares the same name as H from Steps (who came out as gay back in 2007) and when the former got arrested for numerous sexual offenses, the news outlets and internet commenters got confused with their names and attacked the latter instead.
@@apachexprime4768 Don't wanna be the devil's advocate, but Kiedis biggest sin is not what he did (most famous rockers've been doing it for decades, and back in the day nobody batted an eye) but him being so out of touch with modern society that he felt the need to "brag" about it in his book.

I watched pearl jam like a week ago and between a song Eddie pointed to some people in the crowd and asked if they were alright and didn’t start the song until they said they were fine
Eddie Vedder isn't the greatest when it comes to vocal clarity, but he is a really good lyricist.
Hes neither. Hes a complete hack.
Tbf it’s a stylistic choice that was common for the style. When he sings clearly like in Just Breathe, he has a beautiful voice
I just warped back to the 90s with that shot of Dylan Lewis from Recovery.
Layne Staley From alice in chains was loved by his fans too. Shamed he couldnt kick his demons
Can also add to loved: Sharon den Adel, Cristina Scabbia, Lzzy Hale, Tatiana of Jinjer, Maria Brink, and Floor Jansen
who........?
hey, i know im sorta late, but i loved the video man. if you ever do a sequel, add Billie Joe Armstrong to the 'loved' list, for his standout music, activism, and nehaviour.
Can't wait for the next video!
Ozzy intentionally bit head off 1 dove, slaughtered 17 cats in drunken rage and even durig pandemic shot birds and cats on his driveway. He ain't so saint homie
He's Ozzy. That is basic levels of his insanity. Litterally a mutaint who can drink tons of alchol.
@@xavierwalko4175 that's not something to be proud of
fantastic video and you deserve so much growth
Keidis definitely holds RHCP back, Chad,John and Flea are really great musicians and the instruments are great but the vocals and lyrics really are weak in comparison.
Kiedis forgetting lyrics is part of his life. 😂
Tbh I think he only works for rhcp any other band with him would probably suck
Good video your voice has soul
Axel rose the man I just learned thanks for this.
Anthony Kieidis had a more likabale personality than Kurt Cobain who was constantly praised for acting like brat and being a hypocrite
Same dude I mean, I love Nirvana but I totally agree with you.
@MicahSheperd Not hating against Cobain tho, i thought he wasn't always at the right state of mind at their height due to the people around him.
kurt dont rape anybody
Honestly true, Kurt was always so negative and being a drag, at least keidis has a funny personality even if he is a bit weird
@@UreBand kiedis is indefensible kurt was an addict but morally a better person
Imagine coming off so abrasive slash doesnt like you. Hes so chill. As for Kurt uh not my favourite really seemed soft
Cool video format. 👍
Never knew the chili peppers were like that, but sorry to say, they’ll remain my favorite band
Not only that, they used a picture of H when discussing the Lostprophets singer. The fact they're both Welsh also doesn't help
A great way of making yourself unlikeable to the masses is by punching David Bowie. That man was a treasure
Please tell me you did not actually compare Ian Watkins to Axl Rose and Anthony Kiedis.
@@Tim21189 Yeah, that's a different ball game. 🤣
Kiedis comes closer than rose but yeah Watkins is on an entirely different level of evil
Kiedis comes nowhere near the vile vermin that is Ian Watkins. I’m not condoning what Kiedis did, but it was done with a teen, when he was in his early twenties. That’s not even in the same universe as raping two year old babies.
Imagine being dubbed "the Prince of darkness" but being the kindest most loved person.
I don’t care what people say but blood sugar sex magik is amazing and one of my favourite albums.
“favorite rockstar’s favorite rockstar” 💕 I see you
I subscribed and I would love to see you so much more of your content and this video is just cool. Cool as fuck man keep up the good work good shit and I hope you go far in life.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Jeremy is a song about Jeremy wade delle who committed suiside in 1991 at Richardson high school
My aunt knew him
And the teen appeared on PJ music video Jeremy died by drowning here in Puerto Rico when he was in their mid 20s. So sad.
"suiside" "suiside" "suiside" "suiside" "suiside" "suiside" "suiside" "suiside".
Nice ! Give us a part two pleaseeee
Awesome content!!! Love it!
Don't forget Kurt went around spitting of people's stuff. Very nice gentleman.
When it comes to rock music you usually have to separate the art from the artist.
Especially with how much of the old guard didn't see anything wrong in sleeping with teenage girls
@@SilentProti Or using drugs.
L comments for defending Tony after ADMITTING TO PEDOPHILIA IN HIS AUTO BIOGRAPHY
FNM got screwed so hard because of anthony, so sad. absolutely love faith no more.
underrated channel.
.. so i subbed!
You gotta add Brandon Flowers from The Killers, he's such a nice guy
Saw them live last year and Brandon pulled a kid from the crowd to play drums. It was awesome
Another addition: Eddie Vedder made a Spanish version of “It’s okay” when they played in Argentina, and even stopped the concert to help a guy recover his lost wallet
this video is amazing!! keep up the great work, new sub!!
This video just made me love Pearl Jam way more.
This is an awesome first video, unless, of course, this is a new channel...
See you at 100K man! (This is gonna age like wine)
Most Loved Rock Star: Ozzy Osbourne. Most Hated Rockstar Wife: Sharon Osbourne.
yoko ono is a pretty hated rockstar wife too
This video DEFINITELY needs a part 2, there's much more good and bad rockstars.
Funny. I wouldve literally switched the halo and horns 😂 the older i get the more i think (about some storys of kurt) "what a weird take or what a strange way to answer."
Hes an icon of course but no person is without mistakes
Awesome video man, keep it up!
